Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2015;(26):2011-2015
Objective To explore the effect of psychological capital on nurses′job performance and satisfaction and the mediating role of positive emotion. Methods 523 nurses employed in eight hospitals in Anhui province were selected through multistage sampling and interviewed using questionnaires . Structural equation modeling was used to test the proposed relationships. Results Nurses′psychological capital was significantly positive correlated with positive emotion (r=0.473), job performance (r=0.505) and satisfaction (r=0.358), all P<0.01. Nurses′positive emotion was also significantly positive correlated with job performance (r=0.343) and satisfaction (r=0.452) , all P<0.01. The mediating test showed that nurses′positive emotion acted as a partial mediator between psychological capital and job satisfaction while medium effect accounting for 61.5%(0.24/0.39) of the whole effect. Nurses′positive emotion also played a role of being a partial mediator between psychological capital and two aspects of job performance, professional development ability and scientific research innovation ability, while medium effect accounting for 10.0%(0.06/0.60) and 12.9%(0.08/0.62) of the whole effect, respectively. Conclusions Psychological capital affects nurses′job performance and satisfaction and suggests nurses′positive emotion play a role of being a partial mediator in this relationship.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2013;33(6):680-682
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of dexmedetomidine combined with propofol for gastroscopy in elderly patients. Methods Ninety ASA physical status Ⅰ-Ⅲ patients, aged 65-80 yr,weighing 45-80 kg,scheduled for elective gastroscopy, were randomized to receive either dexmedetomidine combined with propofol (group DP,n =45) or propofol (group P,n =45).In group DP,dexmedetomidine 0.4 μg/kg was infused over 5 min and propofol 1.0 mg/kg was injected intravenously 25 min later.Propofol 2.0 mg/kg was injected intravenously in group P.When body movement occurred during operation, additional propofol 0.2 mg/kg was given intermittently.Mean arterial pressure (MAP),heart rate (HR),pulse oxygen saturation (SpO2) and Narcotrend index were monitored during the whole procedures. The consumption of propofol and vasoactive agents, adverse cardiovascular events, and respiratory depression were recorded. Results Compared with group P,the consumption of propofol, incidences of respiratory depression and tachycardia, and degree of body movement were significantly decreased (P < 0.05),Narcotrend index was increased during operation (P < 0.01),and no significant change in the incidence of circulatory depression was found in group DP (P > 0.05).Conclusion Small dose of dexmedetomidine 0.4 μg/kg combined with small dose of propofol 1.0 mg/kg provides good efficacy and safety for gastroscopy in elderly patients.
4.Advances in The Research of Diseases Related to Notch Signaling Pathway
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(12):-
Notch signaling pathway plays a vital role in cell fate decisions. Notch signals are transferred among adjacent cells through Notch receptors and their ligands, which can regulate differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis of many cell types including stem cells. They can also influence organ formation and morphopoiesis. Genetic mutations in the Notch signaling pathway are related to the emergence and development of many diseases. Notch signaling pathway is increasingly becoming important drug targets for cancer, hereditary disease such as CADASIL and other related diseases. It is also used to develop stem cell therapeutics to treat age or trauma related degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson disease and diabetes.

Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2006;0(11):-
OBJECTIVE To study the clinical manifestation and relationship of the pathologic type, clinical treatment and the prognosis of head and neck rhabdomyosarcoma. METHODS The clinical data of 28 cases with head and neck rhabdomyosarcoma were reviewed retrospectively. RESULTS Among these 28 cases, 10 cases were treated surgically accompanying with postoperative chemotherapy and radiotherapy, 6 cases were treated with operation and chemotherapy, 2 cases were treated with operation and radiotherapy, 2 cases were treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, 4 cases were treated with chemotherapy only, 2 cases were treated with radiotherapy only, and 2 cases were treated with palliative operation. The 3-year and 5-year total survival rates were 57.14 % and 28.57 % respectively. Two cases who were embryonal type in pathology and at stage Ⅰand treated with extensive dissection accompanied with chemotherapy survived more than 10 years. Among 8 cases survived more 5 years, 6 cases were embryonal type, one case was alveolar type, one case was pleomorphic type. CONCLUSION The combined treatment strategy can improve the survival rate of the patients.
6.Bilateral nasal vestibular cyst 1 case.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(23):1899-1900
Patients with bilateral nasal vestibule area swelling of 1 week, no obvious pain and symptoms of nasal congestion, bilateral nasal vestibule area was highly uplifted, nostril was significantly smaller, both sides existed a palpable 2. 0 cm × 2. 2 cm and 2. 0 cm × 2. 0 cm cystic mass. Ultrasound showed both sides of the nasal bonehad cystic lesions. Sinus CT showed local quasicircular soft tissue shadow at the bottom of bilateral piriform aperture. The postoperative pathology report: the cystiform tissue is covered with squamous epithelium, infiltration of inflammatory cells could be seen and is consistent with the diagnosis of bilateral nasalvestibular cyst.

7.Factors that Affect the Group Cohesion in Higher Institution and Tactics
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(04):-
Cohesion is a degree that reflects the mutual attractions among the members in a group and pays attention to the status of members. It is association and distillation of all members'will and behavior extension in a group. The intensity of the group cohesion is the important symbol whether a group is competitive or not,and it plays an important role in the survival and the development of a group. This paper starts with the group cohesions of teachers in higher institutions and analyses the factors that affect the group cohesion in higher institution,On this basis, the paper puts forward the tactics in improving the group cohesion of higher institution.
8.THE EFFECT OF SODIUM SELENITE ON DORSAL ROOT POTENTIALS IN ISOLATED SPINAL CORD OF THE TOAD
Fangli ZHAO ; Jun MEI ;
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
This paper reports the effect of sodium selenite on dorsal root potentials(DR-DRP; VR-DRP)in the isolated toad spinal cord. The results indicate that selenite has a double phase effect or dorsal root potentials, that is, increasing the amplitude first, and then decreasing it. Using sucrose gap technique, we have proved that selenite has a dcoplarization effect on the dorsal roots. Further experiments indicate that spontaneous dorsal root potentials induced by selenite are attributed to its actions on the interneurons activities of the spinal cord. In addition, the mechanism of selenite's effects was discussed.
9.THE EFFECTS OF SODIUM SELENITE ON VENTRAL ROOT REFLEXS IN THE ISOLATED TOAD SPINAL CORD

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
The effects of sodium selenite on ventral root reflexs in the isolated spinal cord of the toad were investigated. It was found that the effects of selenite on ventral root reflexs were excited first and then inhibited gradually. Using sucrose gap technique, we have found that selenite produced a significant depolarization on the rentral roots. Mg~(2+)ion markedly reduced this effect, which indicated that selenite had an importment action on interneurons activities of the spinal cord. Sodium selenite could antagonized the post-tetanus hyperpolarization of the ventral roots, which gave another evidenoe for proving its depolarization. The data described above suggest that the actions of sodium selenite on toad spinal cord are exciting first and then inhibiting gradually.
10. A clinical, pathological and genetic study of a Chinese family with Kennedy disease
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(11):1254-1259
Objective: To report a genetically proven Kennedy disease pedigree in China and to discuss its clinical presentations, pathological features and molecular mechanism, so as to provide more information on Kennedy disease. Methods: We conducted a complete survey of the family, including 3 generations and 41 individuals. The proband was given a thorough clinical examination including CK level, EMG, testosterone level, nerve biopsy, and muscle biopsy. Genomic DNA was extracted from the peripheral blood; the repeats of CAG in the exon 1 of androgen receptor was amplified by PCR and sequenced directly. Results: The sequencing result showed that the proband(III-11) had a CAG repeat of 54); one patient (IV-2) had a CAG repeat of 55; one had a CAG repeat of 54; one presymptomatic individual had a CAG repeat of 54(IV-8). There were 3 female carriers (II-6, III-3, and III-15). The CPK and testosterone levels were increased in the proband. EMG revealed neurogenic injury. Nerve biopsy revealed demylination change in the peripheral nerve and muscle biopsy revealed muscle atrophy originated from nerve. Conclusion: Kennedy has no characteristic clinical symptoms, and gene diagnosis is the gold standard. The progression of SBMA is usually much slower compared with those of bulbar atrophy and atrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS).
