Objective To evaluate the change of left ventricular(LV) function by real-time three dimensional echocardiography(RT-3DE) and to explore the clinical value of change of serum adiponectin level in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS).Methods One hundred and twenty patients were divided into MS group and control group according to the diagnostic standard of the nternational Diabetes Federation.Transthorasic 2D ultrasound and RT-3DE examination were performed in all study objects, and serum adiponectin levels were measured.Results Parameter index [including Tmsv16-SD, Tmsv12-SD,Tmsv16- Dif, Tmsv12-Dif, Tmsv16-SD (％), Tmsv 12-SD (％), Tmsv16-Dif (％), Tmsv12-Dif (％)] of 17segment time to minimal systolic volume in MS group was more than that in control group (all P ＜0.05).Some regional systolic index of LV and serum adiponectin level were less than that in control group (all P ＜0.05).Compared with the control group, E/E' was lower (P ＜ 0.05).There were significant relations between serum adiponectin level and E/A of mitral valves, E'/A' of mitral annulus and E/E'(r = 0.368,0.493,and -0.347 respectively, P ＜0.05).Conclusions RT-3DE can rapidly evaluate LV systolic and diastolic synchrony in MS patients.E/E' show an excellent correlation with serum adiponectin level,and it may be a new promising method for routine evaluation of LV diastolic function.

s: The horse mushroom (Agaricus arvensis Schaeff ex Fr.) is one of most excellent edible mushroom,and was cultivated in world at resent year.But up to now,the breeding systems and life-cycle of horse mushroom has been poorly know.In this study,the random amplified polymorphic DNA was employed to analyse the mating reaction between self-fertile homokaryonic isolates by paired.The results demonstrated: (1) the mating reaction happened and the heterokaryonic offspring formed when the intercompatible self-fertile homokaryonic isolates were paired;(2) perhaps the horse mushroom is possessed of double breeding systems-homothallism and heterothallism;(3) RAPD is very effective method for verifying artificially synthesized heterokaryons and monitoring the transmission of genetic loci in mating of fungi.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational allocation of earth quake medical rescue drugs. Objective To assess the efficacy and safety of topiramate monotherapy in the treatment of alcohol de?pendence. Methods The Cochrane library, PunMed, EMBase, CNKI, VIP and CBM database were searched to collect the randomized contolled trials (RCTs) of topiramate monotherapy to compare with placebo or positive control drug in al?cohol dependence. Data were extracted from the included literatures after the literatures’qualities were assessed. The meta-analyses were conducted with RevMan 5.2 software. Results Thirteen trials were included. Compared with place?bo, topiramate reduced score of obsessive compulsive drinking scale(MD=-5.90,95%CI:-10.99~-0.82,P=0.02), de?creased drinks per drinking day(MD=-6.94,95%CI:-12.20~-1.68,P=0.01), and increased percentage of days absti?nent(MD=15.36,95%CI:4.15~6.56,P<0.01). The incidence of paraesthesia, taste perversion, weight loss, memory or concentration impairment, dizziness, psychomotor retardation in topiramate group was higher. But the incidence of other adverse events was similar between groups. Compared with naltrexone, topiramate significantly postponed the days to first relapse(MD=2.10,95%CI:0.23~3.97,P=0.03). The adverse events were similar between groups. Conclusions Topira?mate in treatment of alcohol dependence is effective and safety.

[ABSTRACT]AIM:Toinvestigatetheroleofcysteine-rich61(Cyr61/CNN1)inproliferationandmigrationof bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells ( BMSCs ) .METHODS: The lentiviral vector carrying CCN 1 ( Lenti-GFP-CCN1 ) was constructed and then transfected into the rat BMSCs .The cells were divided into non-transfection group , transfection group ( transfected with Lenti-GFP-CCN1 ) and negative control group ( Lenti-GFP ) .The fluorescence intensity of the transfected BMSCs was observed under inverted fluorescence microscope .The effects of CCN1 on the proliferation and mi-gration of BMSCs were detected by MTT assay and scratch wound healing assay .RESULTS:The proliferation of BMSCs transfected with Lenti-GFP CCN1 had no significant difference compared with negative control group and control group .The width/thickness ratio of migrated BMSCs in wound healing was significantly higher in Lenti-GFP-CCN1 group than that in negative control group and control group (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Exogenous CCN1 promotes the migration of BMSCs.
