2.Nutrition support during stress response period after tumor extirpation in middle-aged and elderly patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors
Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2009;17(1):45-48
Objective To investigate the nutrition support during stress response period after tumor ex-tirpation in middle-aged and elderly patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors. Methods Sixty patients who had undergone maxillofacial tumor extirpation were randomly divided into nutrition therapy group (n = 35) and control group ( n = 25 ). Patients in nutrition therapy group received enteral nutritional treatment, while patients in control group fed themselves. The nutritional status of the two groups before operations were evaluated with Concise Nutritional Assessment Indicators of human body measurement and biochemistry were used to evaluate the nutritional conditions. The incidence of post-operational complications and recovery time ( from the operation to discharge) were analyzed. Results The weight and arm muscle circumference in the nutrition therapy group significantly decreased after operations (P <0. 05). However, in the control group, all the nutritional indica-tors except the total lymphocyte count were significantly lower than the baseline levels after operations (P < 0. 05 ) ; particularly, of the average body weight decreased by about 6 kg. The incidence of complications in the nutrition therapy group was significantly lower than that in control group (5. 7% vs. 12. 0% , P <0. 05). The recovery time was significantly longer in the control group than that in the nutrition therapy group [ (28. 62± 2.38) vs. (22. 76± 3. 24) d, P < 0. 01 ]. Conclusion The nutritional support during the stress response period can satisfy the demands of high catabolism after maxillofacial tumor extirpation operation in middle-aged and elderly patients.
3.Application of Oral Hypoglycemic Agents in Our Hospital During 2004~2006
China Pharmacy 1991;0(02):-
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the status quo and the developmental trend of oral hypoglycemic agents used in our hospital.METHODS:Using the defined daily dose as the study unit to make statistic analysis of oral hypoglycemic agents used in our hospital during 2004~2006 in respect of DDDs,consumption sum and average daily cost etc.RESULTS:Both the categories and consumption quantity of oral hypoglycemic agents increased year by year while the proportion of consumption sum was descending.Over the 3 years, dominating the first 5 places on the list of DDDs were glipizide, metformin, gliquidone, gliclazide and glibenclamide, respectively.CONCLUSION:The clinical use of oral hypoglycemic agents was basically reasonable in our hospital.
4.An Analysis of Personality Build of Medical Staff from the Personality Traits of Medical Students
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(04):-
Objective: To discuss the personality traits of medical students,in order to provide references for building medical occupational personality of medical staff.Method: Adopt Cartel's questionnaire of 16 personality traits to survey 462 medical students.Result: Medical students possess several personality traits, including lack of learning, being perfunctory,easy-going,conservative and obedient, but meanwhile they also possess steady psychological diathesis and creativity. Conclusion: There are three aspects to be concerned in building personalities of medical staff, including confirming the shaping direction, emphasizing professional knowledge as well as humanities subjects, and stressing the combination of theory and practice.
5.The initial study on mechanism in postpone skeletal muscle aging process of D-galactose rats by movement training and soy polypeptide supplement.
Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2014;30(2):142-146
OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of the postpone in skeletal muscle aging process of D-galactose rats by weight training and soy polypeptide supplement in 6 weeks, and discuss the initial mechanism.
METHODSixty male SD rats (three month old)were randomly assigned: 6 week control (C6,) and 6 week model (M6) 6 for each group, 12 week model (M12), big load (B12), small load (S12), peptide (P12), peptide + big load (PB12) and peptide + small load group (PS12) 8 for each group, eight fourteen month rats were taken in the natural aging group. The rats were killed by the end of 6th week and 12th week, tested the indicators.
RESULTCompare with group C6, the indicators in group M6 showed aging in different levels; Compare with group M12, weight training or soy polypeptide supplement in all intervention groups could increase the content of skeletal muscle superoxide dismutase (SOD), SOD/MDA, the serum growth hormone(GH), insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-I)and skeletal muscle IGF-I mRNA, decreased the malondialdehyde (MDA) content of skeletal muscle, and they had notable interaction.
CONCLUSIONRat skeletal muscle aging model can be copied successfully by D-galactose hypodermic, and go on with 6-week weight training or soy polypeptide supplement, they can postpone the skeletal muscle aging process of D-galactose rats, and the two interference way united can have more obvious effect. Its preliminary mechanism may be related to the reduction of skeletal muscle oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation, the correction of hormones and related factors metabolic disorders, the elevation of skeletal muscle IGF-I mRNA expression and so on.

8.Diagnostic Criteria and Treatment of Chronic Active Epstein - Barr Virus Infection
hong-mei, DUAN ; kun-ling, SHEN
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Chronic active Epstein - Barr virus infection(CAEBV) is an uncommon outcome of EBV infection and may present as severe of fulminant syndrome with high- mortality. It is characterized by chronic or recurrent infectious mononucleosis-like symptoms persisting over a long time and by an unusual pattern of anti-EBV antibodies. Although it occurs in immunocompetent individuals, a number of subtle immunologic defects have been reported in patients with CAEBV. Up to now, there are still no diagnostic criteria of CAEBV in China,so the author introduce it with respect to its diagnosis, history, pathogenesis and therapeutic approaches.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(8):763-765
In recent years traditional Chinese medical massage has made remarkable achievements in the treatment of infantile diarrhea, besides, it has no toxic and side effect, no complaints and without affecting the growth rhythm of children and easily accepted by children. Massage manipulation and curative effects of treating infantile diarrhea was discussed in this text, the mechanism was analyzed, and the forecast of traditional Chinese medical massage on infantile diarrhea was proposed.
