1.Work Status and Development Strategy of Clinical Pharmaceutics of Chinese Medicine
China Pharmacist 2015;(6):952-957
Objective:To analyze the work status, existing problems and development strategy of clinical pharmaceutics of Chinese medicine. Methods:The literatures on clinical pharmaceutics of Chinese medicine in recent years were comprehensively analyzed to summarize the present situation, find out the existing problems and difficult points and put forward the development strategy. Results:At present, the main work performed in clinical pharmaceutics of Chinese medicine was as follows:clinical pharmacist of Chinese med-icine made the rounds of the wards in clinics, wrote the medication records, studied the pharmacokinetics of traditional Chinese medi-cine ( TCM) and monitored the therapeutic drugs, monitored and intervened the adverse reactions of TCM, carried out the prescription comment on TCM, studied the boiling, administration and processing methods of TCM, performed the clinical pharmaceutical service and pharmaceutical information service of TCM, and researched the pharmaceutical economics and evidence-based medicine of TCM. Conclusion:Significant achievement and development in clinical pharmaceutics of Chinese medicine have been achieved. However, some problems and deficiency still exist, which should be improved and standardized. The paper puts forward some strategies and thoughts for the improvement of clinical pharmaceutics of Chinese medicine for the purpose of providing reference for the comprehensive development of clinical pharmaceutics of Chinese medicine.
2.Science of Hospital TCM Management—A Subject Deserving Great Attention by Hospital Pharmacy Circle
China Pharmacy 2001;0(09):-
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the importance of developing the Science of Hospital TCM Management.METHODS:The concept, contents, characteristics, formation and development of the Science of Hospital TCM Management were expounded;the existing problems were analyzed, and our ideas for its development were presented.RESULTS & CONCLUSION:Great importance should be attached to the development of Science of Hospital TCM Management. It is quite necessary to rewrite the Science of Hospital TCM management.
3.Historical Development and Management of the Dispensary (Drugstore) of TCM
China Pharmacy 2007;0(27):-
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the historical development and management of the dispensary(drugstore) of TCM.METHODS:Approaches and directions for the development of the dispensary(drugstore) of TCM as well as the basis for the importance attached to its management were pointed out by reviewing the historical development and management of the dispensary(drugstore) of TCM.RESULTS & CONCLUSION:The development and management of the dispensary(drugstore) of TCM has achieved a great evolvement after a historical development from rudimentary stage, innovation forming stage, and universal mature stage to boosting stage, however,it is still lag far behind n the development of modern TCM.Therefore,TCM workers should spare no effort to attach great importance to and intensify the management of the dispensary(drugstore) of TCM.
4.Experimental Study on the Dosage of Flos Lonicerae in Decoctions of Chinese Medicine
China Pharmacy 1991;0(04):-
In view of the tendency to increase the dosage of Flos Lonicerae(FL) in prescription, an experimental study was undertaken to determine the release rate of chlorogenic acid(CA), an active component part of FL, in decoctions containing different dosage of FL. The results showed that the release rate of CA was reversely proportional to the dosage of FL added when FL was over 40 gm. It is indicated that a large dose of FL is unnecessary.
5.Characteristics and Precautions for Use of Chinese Traditional Patent Medicines Containing Chemical Components
China Pharmacy 1991;0(06):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the characteristics and precautions for use of Chinese traditional patent medicines containing chemical components and to guide rational and safe use of these medicines in the clinic. METHODS: The data about Chinese traditional patent medicines containing chemical components were collected and analyzed statistically. RESULTS & CONCLUSION: The Chinese traditional patent medicines containing chemical components have distinct characteristics, and clinicians and pharmacists should attach great importance to the precautions for use for the sake of rational and safe use of these medicines.
6.Adverse Drug Reactions Induced by Vincristine Injection:Literature Analysis of 39 Cases
China Pharmacy 2001;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the general pattern and characteristics of the adverse drug reactions(ADRs)induced by Vincristine injections for references of rational drug use.METHODS:ADRs induced by Vincristine injections reported in domestic medical journals from 1994~2006 were retrieved and analyzed statistically.RESULTS:ADRs induced by Vincristine injection occurred mostly in female patients aged less than 20 years or above 60 years at different time after drug administration. The ADRs might involve lesions of multiple organs and systems, much as in the lesion of gastrointestinal system.CONCLUSION:Clinicians and pharmacists should familiarize the pattern and characteristics of ADRs induced by Vincristine injections and tighten monitoring on the use of Vincristine injections to reduce the incidences of ADRs.
7.ADRs Induced by Tetramethylpyrazine:Literature Analysis of 30 Cases
China Pharmacy 2005;0(24):-
OBJECTIVE: To explore the general pattern and characteristics of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) induced by Tetramethylpyrazine(TMP) so as to provide references for clinical rational drug use. METHODS: A statistical analysis was conducted on 30 TMP-induced ADR cases reported in domestic medical journals. RESULTS: ADRs of TMP were independent of patient's sex, and which were more often seen in patients aged above 50. The ADRs could occur at any time after medication and involve multiple organs and systems. The clinical manifestations were various and manifested as allergic reaction or even allergic shock in severe cases. CONCLUSION: Doctors and pharmacists should master the pattern and characteristics of ADRs induced by TMP, and strengthen monitoring on the use of TMP to reduce the incidence of ADRs induced by TMP.
8.Status Quo and the Future Development about the Clinical Pharmacy of the Traditional Chinese Medicine
China Pharmacy 2007;0(36):-
OBJECTIVE:To summarize the status quo of the clinical pharmacy of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and discuss strategies and considerations on its future development.METHODS: The concept and the task about the clinical pharmacy of TCM were summarized analytically, and some strategies and considerations on its development were presented. RESULTS & CONCLUSION:The development of clinical pharmacy of TCM went on badly and it didn't achieve due progre-ss,therefore its development should be strengthened.
9.Rational Use of Aristolochic Acids in Chinese Herbal Medicines
China Pharmacy 2001;0(07):-
OBJECTIVE:To lead to a rational recognition and use of Chinese herbal medicines containing aristolochic acids.METHODS:Literature in recent years concerning aristolochic acid and Chinese herbal medicines containing aristolochic acids were reviewed and analyzed.RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS:Aristolochic Acids Chinese herbal medicines should be used sen-sibly,practically and rationally.
10.Retrospective Analysis of62Cases of Adverse Reactions Induced by Polysaccharide Sulfate
China Pharmacy 2001;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the general pattern and characteristics of adverse drug reactions(ADR)induced by polysaccharide sulfate(PSS).METHODS:A retrospective study was carried out to collect and statistically analyze62cases of ADR induced by PSS reported in domestic academic journals between January1994and December2005.RESULTS:The ADR to PSS were independent of patient’s sex and dependent of patient’s age, administration routes and dosage. The ADR occurred at different intervals after drug application.Clinical manifestations of ADR were multiple involving several organs and systems, mainly damage of immune system and musculoskeletal system.CONCLUSION:Clinical doctors and pharmacists should under-stand the pattern and characteristics of ADR induced by PSS,and strengthen monitoring of its use in order to reduce occurrence of ADRs.
