1.Release of anticancer doxorubicin-hydroxypatite(DOX-HAP) complex in rabbit liver
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2000;0(01):-
Aim The release process of an anticancer agent, DOX_HAP in rabbit liver was observed. Methods DOX and DOX_HAP were separately injectoed into rabbit livers under the guide of B type ultrasound. Dox concentrations in plasma and liver tissue of the rabbits in both groups were measured by fluorescent stectrophotometer and compared. Results The concentration of complex could existed in the liver tissue about 5 d(1 000 ng?g-1) when it was given in a dose of 2 mg?g-1. At the 10 min the concentration in plasma would be reduced about 1/2 as compared with that in the control group. Conclusions The DOX_ HAP complex not only could increase and insist in an effective concentration of DOX at the local injecting area of liver tissue, but also reduce its concerntration in the plasma. Therefore, it could decrease the toxicity and side_effect of DOX.
3. Effect of thyroid motilin on migrating motor complex in fasting rats
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(12):1338-1343
Objective: To investigate the effects of thyroid motilin (MTL) on migrating motor complex (MMC) in fasting rats. Methods: The distribution and quantitative expression of motilin in the thyroids were detected by immunohistochemistry and radioimmunoassay. We also observed the effect of thyriod motilin on the MMC by recording the gastrointestinal motility in conscious rats. Results: Tail vein injection of MTL increased MMC in antrum and duodenum in a dose-dependent manner, as manifested by increased contraction frequency and amplitude (P<0.05, P<0.01). However, the contraction frequency and amplitude were significantly decreased after injection of MTL-R antagonist GM109(P<0.05). GM109 could obviously block the promoting effect of MTL on MMC. Removing left thyroid significantly increased MMC cycle, contraction amplitude, and decreased contraction frequency (P<0.05). Injection of anti-MTL serum into the thyroids could significantly promote MMC and increase the frequency and amplitude of contraction (P<0.05). Immunohistochemistry demonstrated that motilin immunoreactive (MTL-IR) cells, together with calcitonin (CT) ,were observed in the thyroids, indicating the expression of MTL in thyroid C-cells. Radioimmunoassay analyses displayed that MTL level in the duodenal mucosa was 128.02 and 100.57 times those in the antrum and thyroid, respectively. Conclusion: MTL is expressed in the thyroid C-cell and participates in the regulation of MMC.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2017;16(7):43-46
Objective To assess the effect of thoracoscopic surgery under laryngeal mask anesthesia and explore the nursing strategies. Methods Thirty-five patients from April to December in 2014 undergoing video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) were given intubation anesthesia and another thirty-five ones undergoing the same surgery in 2015 received laryngeal mask anesthesia. The two groups were compared in terms of surgery conditions, surgery complication and ambulation time. Results No significant differences were found in surgery time or blood loss between two groups (P>0.05). The postoperative waking time in the mask anesthesia group was significantly shorter than that of the intubation anesthesia group (P<0.05), and ambulation time was significantly shortened (P<0.05). The rates of throat discomfort, hoarseness and gastrointestinal reactions were significantly lower. Conclusions Laryngeal mask anesthesia used in small thoracoscopic surgery for airway management is safe and feasible. Combined with training in respiration and limb function, better analgesia and nursing, it can keep away complications related to intubation anesthesia, shorten hospital stay and accelerate postoperative rehabilitation.

Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2009;36(11):1402-1407
Gold nanorods is a capsule-shaped gold nanoparticles. Gold nanorods give rise to two absorption peaks corresponding to their plasmonic modes, transverse mode and longitudinal mode, corresponding to light absorption and scattering along the short and long axis, respectively. The longitudinal surface plasmon resonance can be tuned by adjusting their aspect ratio from the visible to the NIR region and extremely sensitive to changes in the dielectric properties of the surroundings including solvents, adsorbates, and the interparticle distance of the gold nanorods. This unique optical property of gold nanorods opens up fascinating applications in biological and chemical sensors. Optical properties and biomedical application of gold nanorods are introduced, and its future research prospects are discussed.
