Objective To study the role of pro inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor?(TNF ?),interleukin 1beta(IL 1?),interleukin 6(IL 6) and anti inflammatory cytokines interleukin 4(IL 4),interleukin 10(IL 10),interleukin 13(IL 13) in acute lung injury(ALI). Methods Wistar Rats (200?50g) were randomly divided into the oleic acid(OA) and Lipoplysaccharide(LPS) induced lung injury experimental group and the only OA induced lung injury control group. The LPS(2mg/kg) was injected in rat's tail vein at the 1, 4, 12 and 24 hours after administration of OA(0.2ml/kg, iv). Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT PCR) were used to detecting the expression of TNF ?, IL 1?, IL 6 and IL 4, IL 10, IL 13 mRNA in the lung tissue of rats in two groups. Results The results showed that the peak expression of TNF ? and IL 1? mRNA at one hour after first hit by oleic acid, and IL 6 mRNA at four hours were observed. Others, such as IL 4, IL 10 and IL 13 mRNA, the highest levels in lung tissue at four hours after lung injury induced by oleic acid. Conclusions The results suggested that TNF ? and IL 1? are presenting early phase of ALI, and that IL 6 played its important role in delayed development. The over expression of anti inflammatory cytokines IL 4, IL 10 and IL 13 may be as a promoters rather than protectors in inflammatory amplification.

Vitexin, a natural flavonoid compound, has extensive pharmacological activity. In recent years, many studies have re-vealed that vitexin has significant protective effects on central nervous system and peripheral nervous system, including anti-memory impairment, anti-epilepsy, anti-ischemic hypoxic brain damage, anti-depression, analgesia, etc. Vitexin exerts neuro-protective effects through the mechanisms of multiple pathways and multi-targets, such as reducing free radical level, inhibiting neuronal apoptosis, modulating inflammatory factors and related pathways, and regulating neurotransmitters and related recep-tors. This review mainly discusses the neuroprotective effects of vitexin and its underlying mechanisms.

Objectives Research into effect on PBL model in prosthodontics education.Methods The PBL model was performed in education of a part of prosthodontics,and education effect was evaluated by table analysis.Results PBL model is proved to be better than the multimedia education model in the training of students'self-study ability,learning initiative,problem-analyzing and problem-solving competence,and the team spirit etc.Conclution Comparaed with the multimedia education model,PBL model is of significance in some respects.

Objective To investigate the existence of HBV DNA YMDD mutation in patients with chronic hepatitis B and the related significance. Methods HBV DNA YMDD mutation was detected in 90 patients with hepatitis B. The liver function, HbeAg, HBVDNA, and HBV DNA YMDD mutation in patients with HBV DNA YMDD mutation were analyzed. Results HBV DNA YMDD mutation was found in 20 out of 90 patients with hepatitis B (positive rate 12.00%). HBV DNA YMDD mutation was found in 9 out of 36 patients receiving lamivuding therapy (positive rate 25.00%), but HBV DNA YMDD mutation was found in 11 out of 54 patients without lamivuding therapy (positive rate 20.37%). In the 20 patients with HBV DNA YMDD mutation, 5 patients were negative in HBeAg. HBV DNA, ALT, and Tb of the 20 patients with HBV DNA YMDD mutation were 3.0221?10 5-2.369?10 8 (5.41?7.75?10 7) copies/ml, 34 -1 216 (288.20?338.07) IU/L, and 8.9-326.7 (48.74?72.20) ?mol/L, respectively. Objective To observe the effect of Ti-6AL-4V particles on morphological and func- tional changes of osteoclast in vitro.Methods Mature osteoclasts separated from New Zealand Rabbits were cultured on glass slices and cortical bone slices.The experimental group was stimulated by Ti-6AL- 4V particles at concentration of 0.1 mg/ml.The cells were stained with TRAP at different culture time to observe the morphological variety.The bone resorption pits on bone slices were stained by toluidine blue and the resorption areas analyzed by computer image analysis software.Results Osteoclasts phagocy- tosed the particles,with irregular shapes,deeper TRAP stain and earlier apoptosis.Stimulation by Ti- 6AL-4V particles brought about larger area of bone absorption lacuna.Conclusion Osteoclasts have the ability to phagocytose Ti-6AL-4V particles,which leads to morphological and functional changes and enhances bone resorption.
