Acta Anatomica Sinica 2002;0(05):-
Objective The purpose of this study was to develop a new cultural method, so that the rat bone marrow stromal cells (MSCs) can well differentiate into osteoblasts in vitro and the cultured osteoblasts can be identified. Methods MSCs of rats were isolated and cultured, then the cultured cells were identified with inverted microscopy and undergone an HE stain for observing the morphology of living cells, and the cells were histochemically stained for examining the activity of cellular alkaline phosphatase (ALP), as well as were radio-immunologically analyzed for detecting the secretion of osteocalcin. Results The MSCs were typical fibroblast-like and possess a strang proliferative capability after cultured in vitro. The cellular ALP activity and osteocalcin secretion achieved the peak value from the fortieth day and maintained the status until the sixtieth day after cultured in vitro. Conclusion The data demonstrated that the new developed culture method has the advantages of short time, less risk of contamination and higher efficiency, and conducive to MSC's differentiating and proliferating into osteoblasts that do function well.
3.Intraoperative and postoperative impact of CO2 temperature and humidity to gynecologic laparoscopic surgery: a meta-analysis
China Journal of Endoscopy 2017;23(4):49-56
Objective To evaluate the impact of warmed and humidified CO2 on the gynecological laparoscopic operation. Methods We searched keywords related to gynecological laparoscopic and CO2 pneumoperitoneum temperature and humidity on Pubmed and Wanfang database, then analyze the postoperative pain, analgesic consumption, core temperature, operation time, length of hospital stay. Results 17 publications included into the meta analysis after screening. Compared with the standard laparoscopy, warmed and humidified CO2 can reduce postoperative pain and prevent intraoperative hypothermia. No significant difference in postoperative analgesic consumption, postoperative core temperature, duration of recovery and hospital stay, endoscope lens fog and operation time. Conclusions Only few beneficial effects on postoperative pain and core temperature have been identified in this meta-analysis, though more studies are probably needed to study the real impact of warmed and humidified CO2 for laparoscopic procedures.
4.Relationship between Body Mass Index and Serum Prostate-specific Antigen Levels in Prostate Cancer Patients
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2009;36(14):788-789,794
Objective:The aim of this study was to examine whether PSA levels were affected by BMI and the influence of BMI on the clinical application of PSA.Methods:A total of 856 males who had routine health checkups between January 2006 and July 2007 in our hospital were recruited for this study. Those with a documented history of prostate carcinoma were excluded.Height, weight, and total PSA were measured. The BMl was calculated from measured height and weight [BMl=weight(kg)/height(m)2].Results:The serum PSA(ng/mL)levels were 2.97±0.15 in the normal weight group,2.53±0.12 in the overweight group, and 2.01±0.16 in the obese group(P<0.05).A negative correlation was found between PSA and BMI(r=-0.130,P<0.05)and weight(r=-0.142.P<0.05).A positive correlation was found between PSA and age(r=0.306,P<0.05).Con-clusion:BMl is associated with PSA.As BMI increases, serum PSA decreases. The current data suggest that such an influence should be considered in the clinical application of PSA.
5.Organizational flexibility of an ambidextrous medical research institution
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2013;26(4):224-227,240
In an uncertain and dynamic environment, medical research institutions must often balance between the usual medical research and emergent medical research. We interpreted this as a balance between exploitation-oriented innovation and exploration-oriented innovation. We pointed out that a flexible organization can coordinate the competition of scientific research resources between the two kinds of innovation; then we built an organizational flexibility model based on resource flexibility and coordination flexibility, and extended the model to medical research institution. And finally,we discussed the strategies for increasing organizational flexibility.
6.Roles of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in the central nervous system
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(09):-
The matrix metalloproteinases(MMP) are important enzymes that regulate developmental processes, maintain normal physiology in adulthood and have reparative roles in specific stages after an insult to the nervous system.Conversely, the concordant presence and significant up-regulation of several MMP members in virtually all neurological conditions result in pathological lesions. Thus, the MMPs have double functions, capable of mediating repair and recovery on the one hand and being involved in producing injury on the other. This article highlights the beneficial roles of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in normal and reparative processes within the nervous system and discusses the detriments of both encountered in spinal cord injury and central nervous system cancers, and we also review the availability of MMP inhibitors for clinical use.

Clinical Medicine of China 2017;33(9):843-846
Objective To analyze the curative effect of posterior internal fixation and fusion on patients with spinal fractures, and to provide the basis for clinical application. Methods A total of one hundred and eighty?eight patients with orthopedic incision treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from March 2013 to December 2016 were divided into the observation group ( 98 cases with posterior internal fixation fusion ) and the control group ( 90 cases with anterior internal fixation fusion ) . The clinical curative effects of the patients ( including Cobb angle, spinal nerve function, complications and the success rate of surgery ) , postoperative visual analogue score ( VAS ) , hospitalization time, operation time were compared. Results In the observation group, the VAS score before operation was (6. 89±6. 89) points and reduced to (2. 70±1. 33) points after operation, the pain decreased significantly after treatment (t=26. 099,P<0. 001). The VAS score of the control group lowered from (6. 85±6. 85) points to (5. 05±1. 35) points, and the pain decreased significantly after treatment ( t=10. 704, P<0. 001 ) , and the postoperative pain in the observation group was significantly reduced than that in the control group ( t=12. 016,P<0. 001) . There were significant differences between the observation group and the control group in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, incision length and hospitalization time ( ( 141. 91 ± 35. 42 ) min vs. ( 198. 82 ± 38. 61 ) min, ( 509. 72 ±113. 65) ml vs. (823. 40±108. 54) ml,(10. 25 ± 0. 84) cm vs. (18. 83±1. 58) cm,(10. 59±12) d vs. (15. 37±1. 52) d,t=10. 541,19. 315,47. 015,24. 681,P<0. 001) . The total effective rate of the observation group was 86 cases ( 97. 96%) , and ineffective rate of the observation group was 2 cases ( 2. 04%) . In the control group, the effective and ineffective rates were 75 cases ( 83. 33%) and 15 cases ( 16. 67%) , the difference in effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant (χ2 = 12. 202, P<0. 001 ) . Conclusion Posterior internal fixation fusion is effective in the treatment of spinal fracture, which can reduce the postoperative pain, shorten the hospitalization time, less complication and high success rate. It is suitable for clinical promotion.
9.Hemo oxygenase-1 and its relationship with svere acute pancreatitis
International Journal of Surgery 2010;37(2):121-124
Recently, heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) has been emphasized in the area of intensive care unit (ICU) and other domains. HO-1 can catalyze the decomposition of heine and the products of its enzymatic activity, including carbon monoxide, biliverdin, and bilirubin and ferritin can play a significant cytoprotec-tive role in antagonizing inflammation, protecting cells from oxidative injury and cellular stresses. In the re-search of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), researchers have realized that it is of great importance to antago-nize the overflow of cytokines in order to improve the therapeutic effect of SAP. In this article, we give a re-view of the research progress of HO-1 and its relationship with SAP.
