Lesions in the rignt (?) colliculus were made in 8 albino rats and the efferent projections were studied by Nauta's technique with the following results:Ipsilateral projections: The overwhelming majority of the degenerating fibers runs by way of the inferior quadrigeminal brachium, a small part of which terminating in the reticular nucleus of the lateral tegmentum of the midbrain and the major part of which terminating in the magnocellular and the parvicellular divisions of the medial geniculate body. A smaller nunber of the degenerating fibers terminate via the tecto-pontine tract in the lateral pontine nucleus. A few degenerating fibers terminate in the central gray of the midbrain and the deep stratum of the superior colliculus.Contralateral projections; With the exception of some feed-back fibers all contralateral projections pass through the commissure of the inferior colliculus. The majority of the degenerating fibers terminate in the dorsal region of the contralateral inferior colliculus. A minor part of the degenerating fibers run by way of the inferior quadrigeminal brachium to terminate in the reticular nucleus of the lateral tegmentum of the midbrain.Feed-back fibers: The feed back fibers are derived from the inferior colliculus and descend in the lateral lemniscus. As they reach the level of the superior olivary complex they divid into two parts: One part passes through the pyramidal tract of both side and terminates in the contralateral trapezoid ventral nucleus, dorsal cochlear nucleus and ventral cochlear nucleus. The other part terminates in the same nuclei ipsilaterally.Based on the observations mentioned above, the impression were obtained that the efferent fibers of the inferior colliculus mostly terminate in the ipsilateral medial geniculate body and the contralateral inferior collicuhs, through the latter impulses may reach the controlateral medial geniculate body indirectly. The inferior colliculus in the albino rat is considered as Woollard et al ('40) put in cat and guinea-pig, "The midbrain auditory nudei subserve very few reflex activities, being almost wholly sensory centres."

Objective:To explore whether there is mood congruency effect of involuntary autobiographical memories among different mood undergraduates.Methods:Totally 60 college students were induced to generate positive,negative or neutral mood by emotional pictures and music.Vigilance task paradigm was used to induce involuntary autobiographical memory in the present experiment.All participants were asked to rate the pleasantness of involuntary autobiographical memories,then the memory proportion of different valence was calculated.Two raters who had not taken part in the experiment were instructed to divide the objective memory contents into positive,negative and neutral three types.Furthermore,the number of involuntary autobiographical memories recalled was evaluated according to the valence of objective memory contents.Besides,all participants were asked to rate the mood state at the end of the experiment.Results:There was no significant difference in pleasantness ratings among different mood college students (P ＞ 0.05).There was a significant interaction between mood state and the valence of objective memory contents (P ＜ 0.01).Further examination of the interaction suggested the number of positive memory contents recalled was greater in positive state compared with neutral state [(6.3 ±5.5) vs.(2.8 ±2.2),P ＜0.01].However,there was no difference in the number of negative memory contents and neutral memory contents among different mood states (Ps ＞ 0.05).Additionally,no matter the pleasantness ratings was positive or negative,there was no significant correlation between the proportion of memories and mood state rated at the end of the experiment (r =0.29,-0.13,Ps ＞ 0.05).Conclusion:It suggests that there does not exist mood congruency effect of involuntary autobiographical memories among college students in different mood states.Even in negative mood state,their involuntary autobiographical memories would still display a kind of optimistic bias.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of closed reduction and ulna intramedullary nail fixation for the treatment of fresh Monteggia fractures of Bado type I and II in children.

METHODSTwenty-three children patients with Monteggia fracture during July 2010 to September 2013 were treated by closed reduction and ulna intramedullary nail fixaion including 18 boys and 5 girls with an average age of 9.3 years old ranging from 6 to 13 years old. Among them,15 cases were Bado type I and 8 cases were Bado type II. There were 9 cases with radial nerve injury. The operation time,the recovery of nerve injury, the fracture healing and the function of elbow were observed and recorded.

RESULTSAll patients were followed up for 6 to 24 months (12 months on average). All patients were obtained bone healing. According to Anderson standard, at the final follow-up, 20 cases got excellent result, 2 cases got good result, and one case got fair result.

CONCLUSIONTreatment of the fresh Monteggia fractures in children by closed reduction and ulna intramedullary nail fixation has advantages of simple operation, less trauma and good results.

Objective To discuss the perioperative nursing measures and their effectiveness for patients with malignant airway stenosis who are receiving airway stent implantation once more due to airway re-stenosis.Methods The clinical data of 7 patients,who received airway stent implantation once more due to airway re-stenosis during the period from May 2014 to July 2016,were retrospectively analyzed.The effectiveness of nursing intervention for stent implantation was assessed.Results The symptoms of dyspnea were relieved immediately after the stent re-placement procedure in all the 7 patients,and no severe complications,such as massive hemorrhage,respiratory failure or asphyxia occurred.Conclusion The key points to ensure a successful second airway stent implantation include following measures and preparations:cooperation mode of medical care integration,preoperative individualized psychological intervention,guiding the patients to cooperate with the treatment,ready for in-operation emergency rescue,rapid and effective assistant cooperation for stent placement,and postoperative close observation for the occurrence of respiratory tract infection,bleeding and other complications.

Objective In order to investigate the relationship among reflux esophagitis,Barrett's e- sophagus and esophageal adenocarcinomas,the expressions of Cdx2 and MUC2 gene were studied.Methods Using immunohistochemistry,the expressions of the Cdx2 and MUC2 were detected in the esophageal mu- cosa of 30 patients with reflux esophagitis,18 patients with Barrett's esophagus and 25 patients with esopha- geal adenocareinoma.Results The positive rate and staining intensity of Cdx2 and MUC2 expressions in re- flux esophagitis,Barrett's esophagus and esophageal adenocarcinoma were significantly higher than those in normal esophageal mucosa(P

The herbs used as the material for traditional Chinese medicine are mostly planted at mountain areas where there is appropriate weather condition. Due to the complex terrain condition in mountain area, the planting at such places is always associated with a scattered pattern, which inevitably bring difficulty to the work of accurate measurement for the planting area. Advanced research about monitoring the planting area for medicine-herb under complex environmental condition is so critical and meaningful for developing the medicine-herb planting to a large scale and an industry. Therefore, this research, taking the planting of Herpetospermum pedunculosum in Luding county as an example, utilizes RS&GIS: using the image data from TM and ETM datum as the remote sensing information source, integrating GPS data from quadrat survey on the spots, and analyzing on a GIS platform, to extract the planting area of H. pedunculosum in Luding county. The results indicate that: (1) the method and technology used to estimate the planting area of H. pedunculosum are feasible and can be applied to monitoring the planting area of medicine-herb at mountain area under complex environmental conditions: (2) the planting area of H. pedunculosum in Luding county is estimated to be 857. 246 acres by the methods utilized in this research, which is closed to the value from local statistical data with an error range less than 5%; (3) in consideration of those inevitable errorrs generating from the procedures such as remote sensing data acquisition, data preprocessing, data interpretation, and so on, and the fact that the classification of remote sensing data, which must be implemented by those above procedures, was used directly to extract the herb type, the accuracy of area estimation for the herb is significantly influenced by the accuracy of classification for herb type, and the estimated area is inevitably associated with some error.
