4.Retromandibular approach for open reduction & internal fixation of mandibular condylar neck fracture.
Journal of the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons 2007;33(6):625-630
Fractures of the mandibular condyle are account for between 26 percent and 57 percent of all mandibular fractures. Clinicians should decide how to treat the fractured condyle with many factors considered. Many surgical methods have been developed to reduction of fractured condyle and it's internal fixation. In open reduction of fractured condylar neck and subcondyle, retromandibular approach offers a safe and effective approach for direct fixation due to easy access and low surgical morbidity.

Yeungnam University Journal of Medicine 1994;11(2):398-404
Functional recovery after mandibular condyle fracture was a contradictory result of many authors. The treatment goal of condyle fracture has been directed primarily toward restoration of functional movement of the mandible. We selected some patients who requested functional therapy in many cases of condylar fracture, depend on pattern of fracture, patient's demand, occlusion, age. Without intermaxillary fixation, we induced the patients to rapid healing of temporomandibular function and normal mandibular protrusive, lateral movement as a result of early functional therapy by activator. So, the authors report the cases with review of concerned literature.

Archives of Plastic Surgery 2012;39(4):281-283
The mandibular condyle is a region that plays a key role in the opening and closing of the mouth, and because fracture causes functional and aesthetic problems such as facial asymmetry, it is very important to perform accurate reduction. Traditionally, there has been disagreement on how to manage fracture of the mandibular condyle. This review explores the misunderstanding of mandibular condyle fracture treatment and modern-day treatment strategies.

9.Evaluation of the surgical treatment of 88 cases with the mandibular condylar fracture
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2002;269(2):93-96
Fracture of condyle is diagnosed early by clinical and X-rays (pano film). A line, which goes to joint, can go in front of cover ear or around a corner jaw. However, these depend on how a damage of the joint is. We can take away Condyle if it is broken or we can combine condyle by a steel thread or miniplate. Furthermore, we need to put the joint on the right site occlusion during a surgery, then let the patient who practise a moving of the jaw as soon as posible. The fail cases are due to the of leaving harm out, or being infected

10.Current diagnosis and therapy of anterior mandibular fracture associated with condyle fractures.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2014;32(2):206-208
Anterior mandibular fracture, which includes symphyseal and parasymphyseal mandibular fractures, is one of the most common types of fracture in clinical work, and is usually associated with condyle fracture. This type of fracture predisposes the patients to facial widening, malocclusion, and ankylosis when not properly and timely treated because of the influence of its anatomic structure. This article reviews the characteristics, complication, diagnosis, and therapy of this type of fracture.
