Objective To study CD64 expression in neutrophilic granulocyte and its clinical effect in neonatal infection disease. Methods CD64 was detected among 59 neonatal patients(septicemia group 34 patients, local infection group 25 patients)hospitalized in our neonatal department diagnosed as neonatal infection disease in 48 h after hospitalized,2 weeks after therapy, then the results were compared with 27 patients as non - infection disease during the same period. Results CD64 in septicemia group was (6156. 21?3643. 32) molecula per cell,in local infection group was (2176.19 ? 946. 32)molecula per cell, in non- infection group was (2176. 19 ? 946. 32) molecula per cell.There were significant differences among three groups (all P0.05). Conclusions CD64 expression increases in bacterium infection disease. It is more obvious in widespread infection desease.and it can be the mark in early diagnosis of neonatal infection disease.

Objective To observe the therapeutic response of liver tumors by arterial embolization hyperthermia with Nano Superparamagnetic Iodized Oil(NSIO)using rabbit VX2 liver tumor model.Methods A total 24 rabbits containing experimental hepatic tumors were randomly assigned to one of four groups as follows:NSIO embolization hyperthermia group(group A),Lipidol embolization group(group B),NSIO embolization group(group C),and contronl group(group D),each groups contain 6 VX2 rabbits.Fourteen days after implantation of the experimental hepatic tumor,VX2 rabbits were treated.In group A group B and group C,the rabbits hepatic proper artery were selectively catheterized by 3 Fr microcatheters via right femoral artery under fluoroscopic guidance.10% NSIO 0.5 ml(group A and group C)or Lipidol 0.5 ml(group B)infused into proper hepatic artery.Three days after embolization,the rabbits in group A and group B were exposed to gap-type alternating magnetic field for 30 minutes,while rabbits in group C and group D have not been exposed to alternating magnetic field.The liver tumor size were measured by CT scanning before and 14 days after treatment then the animals were sacrificed,the liver,lung,heart spleen and kidney were harvested for histopathology examination,the liver tumor size were detected directly. Results All subjects experienced uneventful 14 days surivials,on the biochemical examination,there were no changes about the function of liver and renal in each group 14 days after treatment compare to pre- treatment.Fourteen days after treatment,the tumor size decreased by 8.09% in group A,but increased by 9.72% and 13.00%(P＜0.05)in group B and group C respectively,in group D,the tumor size increased by 57.50%(P＜0.01).In histopathology examination,the tumor necrosis in three treatment groups were manifest,particular in group A.Conclusion Arterial embolization hyperthermia with NSIO has obvious therapeutic response to experimental hepatic tumors,it encourages further development of this technology for the treatment of liver cancer in humans.

Human Interleukin-11(hIL-11)has no Cys residue in its natural form.By site-directed mutagenesis,a Cys residue can be introduced to replace the 1st residue Gly and the rhIL-11 was chemically modified by using 20 kDa mPEG-maleimide conjugated to this site.The mPEG-hIL-11 conjugate was purified and showed a single band on SDS-PAGE with an apparent molecular weight.The biological activity of purified mPEG-hIL-11 was determined using a dependent cell line 7TD1.The remaining biological activity of PEGylated-rhIL-11 was 30% of native rhIL-11,suggesting chemical modification of rhIL-11 by PEG is a promising approach for improving the pharmacological efficacy.

AlM:To understand the effect on comprehensive ability of“Teaching-learning transaction” professional education of ophthalmic postgraduates which involving the teachers and students to participate in, and to explore new education model for ophthalmic postgraduate.METHODS:We carried out retrospective investigation questionnaire in the 31 ophthalmic postgraduates of Luzhou Medical College 2010 ~ 2014 grade and the 47 medical staffs of Department of Ophthalmology of the Affiliated Hospital of Luzhou Medical College, to clarify the new professional education model whether could improve the comprehensive ability of ophthalmic postgraduates or not. RESULTS: Carrying out the “ Teaching - learning transaction” professional education could improve the comprehensive ability of ophthalmic postgraduates.CONCLUSlON: Putting teaching and learning together can improve and promote each other, and it is helpful to cultivate comprehensive ability of ophthalmic postgraduates.

Objective:To investigate the aberrant methylation of CpG island in 5′promoter region of p16 gene in the pancreatic juice and its value in diagnosis of patients with pancreatic cancer.Methods:Pure pancreatic juice(PPJ)was collected from the pancreatic duct by a nasopancreatic tube put under endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP). Cytological examination was performed by H-E staining in pure pancreatic juice.Aberrant p16 methylation was detected using the methylation specific PCR(MSP)in the PPJ.Results:The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and accuracy cytological examination in diagnosis of pancreatic cancer were 40%,100%,100%,45.4% and 60.0%,respectively.The DNA sequences were successfully extracted from the PPJ of 30 patients with pancreatic diseases and were subjected to MSP.Seven(35%)of the 20 cases with pancreatic cancer showed aberrant methylation of p16 gene.No aberrant methylation was detected in the pancreatic juice samples of patients with chronic pancreatitis and mucinous cystoadenocarcinoma of pancreas.When cytological examination combined with p16 methylation detection,the sensitivity, specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and accuracy for diagnosis of pancreatic cancer were 55%,100%, 100%,52.6% and 70%,respectively.Conclusion:Pancreatic juice collected by nasopancreatic drainage during ERCP can be used for molecular analysis.Detection of aberrant methylation of p16 gene in pancreatic juice combined with cytological examination is a better method for diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

BACKGROUNDGinsenosides are main components extracted from ginseng, and ginsenoside Rg3 is one of the most important parts. Ginsenoside Rg3 has been found to inhibit several kinds of tumor growth and metastasis. The present study was undertaken to investigate the effect of ginsenoside Rg3 on human ovarian cancer metastasis and the possible mechanism.

METHODSThe experimental lung metastasis models of ovarian cancer SKOV-3 and the assay of tumor-induced angiogenesis were used to observe the inhibitory effects of Rg3 on tumor metastasis and angiogenesis. The effect of Rg3 on invasive ability of SKOV-3 cells in vitro was detected by Boyden chamber, and immunofluorescence staining was used to recognize the expression of matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) in SKOV-3 cells.

RESULTSIn the experimental lung metastasis models of ovarian cancer, the number of tumor colonies in the lung and vessels oriented toward the tumor mass in each ginsenoside Rg3 group, was lower than that of control group. The invasive ability and MMP-9 expression of SKOV-3 cells decreased significantly after treatment with ginsenoside Rg3.

CONCLUSIONSGinsenoside Rg3 can significantly inhibit the metastasis of ovarian cancer. The inhibitory effect is partially due to inhibition of tumor-induced angiogenesis and decrease of invasive ability and MMP-9 expression of SKOV-3 cells.

Objective To discuss whether the separating block of sensory nerve with acupoint-injection and epidural analgesia by ropivacaine during labour.Methods Ninty full term primigravidae with ASAⅠ～Ⅱwere randomly divided into 3 groups:group E(n = 30),group C(n = 30)and group A(n = 30).When the external cervi- cal os was dilated to 3cm,group A:acupiont-injection to Ci Liao;group E:epidural analgesia with 0.075% ropiva- caine and fentanyel 2?g/ml;group C:combining group A and group E except fentanyel 2?g/ml.Level of pain(VAS scores),degree of sensory and motor block,the mode of delivery,the progress of labour and side effects were recorded and compared.Results The level of pain(VAS scores)in group A was higher than that of group C and group E,and there were no significant differences in group C and group E,Bur there were some side effects discovered in group E. There was no significant differences of the mode of delivery in the groups.Conclusion The method that acupoint- rejection combined with epidural analgesia by 0.075% ropivacaine is effective and has no side effects for labour.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the feasibility and safety of substituting tacrolimus(FK506) for cyclosporin A(CsA) on delaying the pace of renal dysfunction in patients with biopsy-proven chronic allograft nephropathy(CAN). METHODS: Seventy-three renal transplantation patients with CAN proved by allograft biopsy were collected in this study. Patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. Patients were either converted to FK506(FK506 group, n=43) or remained on their initial CsA-based immunosuppression(CsA group, n=30). The clinical data at study entry and after 12 months including blood urea nitrogen(BUN), serum creatinine(SCr), glomerular filtration rate(GFR), 24-hour urine protein excretion, serum total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein(LDL) and the side effects of calcineurin inhibitors were monitored during a follow-up of over 12 months. RESULTS: Twelve months later, the level of SCr was statistically reduced and GFR levels were obviously elevated in the FK506 group as compared with CsA group [(194.8+/-42.5)micromol/L vs. (245.4+/-52.8)micromol/L and (50.14+/-3.92)mL/(min.1.73 m(2)) vs. (40.58+/-2.49)mL/(min.1.73 m2), P<0.01]. Quantity of 24-hour urine protein excretion in the FK506 group was (2.0+/-0.5)g which is significantly lower than (3.9+/-0.7)g in the CsA group(P<0.01). TC, TG, and LDL levels remained unchanged in the CsA group, while those were statistically reduced in the FK506 group respectively [(5.19+/-0.73)mmol/L vs. (6.94+/-1.37)mmol/L, (1.86+/-0.84)mmol/L vs. (3.14+/-1.38)mmol/L, (3.03+/-0.71)mmol/L vs. (3.82+/-0.89)mmol/L, P<0.01]. Tremor obviously increased (P<0.01) and hypertension obviously decreased (P<0.05) in the FK506 group compared with the CsA group. CONCLUSION FK506 treatment can greatly improve the proteinuria and hyperlipidemia. Conversion from CsA to FK506 is an effective and safe alternative therapy for delaying the progression of renal dysfunction induced by CAN.

Cultivation of clinical profession ability of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine graduates involves the policy, management, evaluation, training, and many other aspects of colleges and universities. This article put forward the organic convergence of cultivation education and clinical profession post competence. According to the real situation of graduates, sectional, individualized, and true practice of clinical cultivation education was conducted, which could make graduates get into the cultivation education mode of "early clinical practice, more clinical practice, true clinical practice". This could effectively enhance the cultivation effects and clinical profession post competence of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine graduates.

OBJECTIVETo study the characteristics of the strains of Salmonella enterica (S. enterica) serovar Senftenberg lacking Salmonella pathogenicity island 1 (SPI-1).

METHODSA total of 10 strains of S. enterica serovar Senftenberg were isolated from 10 cases of diarrhea patients. Pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE), PCR, sequencing techniques and cell invasion test were adapted to study the molecular types and invasiveness of the genes and cells; and made a comparison between the 10 strains and the strains (C02013) isolated in Shenzhen in 2002.

RESULTSThe 10 Senftenberg isolated (S09007-S09012, S09014-S09017) in Shanghai showed three PFGE patterns, which were significantly different from the strains isolated in Shenzhen. PCR-amplified results indicated the invasion gene (invA), secreted effector protein gene (sipA) and gene fragments as fhlA-hilA, hilA-spaP and spaP-invH in the 10 strains of SPI-1 were all negative. The sequencing results revealed that the 10 strains isolated in Shanghai lacked most parts of SPI-1 genes, as fragments from orgA to invH and parts of orgA gene itself; however, compared with strains isolated in Shenzhen, the sprB-orgC gene existed. The missing parts of genes were replaced by a simple insertion sequence (IS) of 1000 bp in the strains isolated both in Shenzhen in 2002 and in Shanghai in 2006. The invasiveness rates of the 10 strains (S09007-S09012, S09014-S09017) towards Hela cells were (0.0053 ± 0.0024)%, (0.0046 ± 0.0006)%, (0.0047 ± 0.0003)%, (0.0064 ± 0.0012)%, (0.0065 ± 0.0011)%, (0.0070 ± 0.0020)%, (0.0115 ± 0.0030)%, (0.0099 ± 0.0039)%, (0.0180 ± 0.0135)% and (0.0031 ± 0.0012)%, respectively; which were all significantly lower than the rate of invA-positive control strain STM1344 ((5.0800 ± 0.6333)%); lower or close to the rate of invA-lacked artificial-mutated strain STMinvA-((0.0193 ± 0.0045)%).

CONCLUSIONSPI-1 genes are not essential for the diarrhea caused by S. enterica serovar Senftenberg.
