BACKGROUND: Although myocardial contrast 2D echocardiography is a good method to diagnose and evaluate myocardial ischemia and reperfusion, it has required intracoronary or intra aortic root injection of contrast agent and furthemore, the degree of myocardial contrast produced is small. Second harmonic imaging which is based on the non linear emission of harmonics by resonant microbubble in the ultrasound field improves the ultrasound contrast single to noise ratio. METHODS: We measure the videointensity of interventricular septum(IVS) and lateral wall(LW) of second harmonic imaging myocardial contrast 2D echocardiography before and after LV injection of Levovist(300mg/ml, 0.4ml/Kg) in both pre and post left anterior descending coronary artery(LAD) ligation in 7 open chest pigs. RESULTS: 1) The mean(+/-SD) pre LAD ligation videointensity is significantly greater with after contrast than before contrast(IVS : 111.1+/-33.9 vs 31.1+/-7.6 ; p=0.00046, LW : 120.5+/-21.5 vs 42.2+/-10.0 ; p=0.00006). The post LAD ligation videointensity is also significantly greater with after contrast than before contrast(IVS : 62.8+/-24.6 vs 35.6+/-15.1 ; p=0.00379, LW : 129.9+/-10.9 vs 48.7+/-21.1 ; p=0.00006). 2) The videointensity of IVS is significantly greater with after contrast than before contrast in both pre and post LAD ligation(62.8+/-24.6 vs 111.1+/-33.9 ; p=0.0031). The post LAD ligation videointensity of LW after contrast is not different from that of pre LAD ligation(129.9+/-10.9 vs 120.5+/-21.5 ; p=0.1037). 3) The post LAD ligation videointensity increase of IVS is lower than pre LAD ligantion videointensity increase(27.2+/-18.3 vs 79.9+/-35.0 ; p=0.0006). But the videointensity increase of LW is not different between pre and post LAD ligation(78.2+/-23.4 vs 81.2+/-24.5 ; p=0.3778). CONCLUSION: These findings indicate that the myocardial blood flow and its decrease due to LAD ligation can be evaluated accurately by second harmonic imaging myocardial contrast 2D echocardiography.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2021;20(4):399-402
Symptomatology and medical history taking are the focuses of diagnostics study. With the improvement of teaching and learning, students can basically master the standard process of clinical inquiry of chief complaints to family history efficiently. However, due to the lack of systematic learning of clinical diseases, it's difficult for most students to form a targeted, logical and speculative inquiry thinking pattern, so they are unlikely to write a medical history of present illness that reflects their thinking on disease inclusion and exclusion. In this study, we come up with the characteristics and defects of symptomatology teaching at present, and put forward a new idea of symptomatology teaching by introducing clinical manifestations of diseases and examples of inquiry.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1981;17(3):357-366
To evaluate the radioprotective effects of 5-thio-D-glucose(5-TDG) on normal skin, an experimental study was carried out with total 140 mice, of which 30 mice were given 5-TDG followed by irradiation and 60 mice were given intraperitoneally (IP) two hours before irradiation, and the radiation doses were singly 2500, 3500 or 4500 radsrespectively. The skin changes of the irradiated right hind limb were inspected for 31 days and the skin scores were analized. The results are as follow; 1. Marked radioprotective effect was presented in the group of 5-TDG,1.5g/kg body weight, with 2500 rads irradiation. 2. Definite radioprotective effect was also revealed in the groupof 5-TDG, 1.5kg/ body weight, with 3500 rads irradiation, In the group of double dose 5-TDG, 3.0g/kg body weight, the radioprotective effect appeared to be enhanced. 3. In the group of 4500 rads irradiation with 5-TDG, 1.5g/kgbody weight, no radioprotective effect was noticed. 4. In addition to the radiosensitization effect on the hypoxiccells, the radioprotective effect of 5-TDG on the normal animal tissue suggests increased possiblility of itsclinical application.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1982;18(2):200-206
The experimental study was performed to evaluate the microvascular changes in post irradiation injury of small intestine. With a total of 28 rats, 24 rats were irradiated on right upper quadrant of abdomen with a single dose of 2000 rads and each group of 4 rats were followed up in 1,2,4,5,12, and 16 weeks and remaining 4 rats were used for normal control group. Evaluation of the microvascular changes were done by observing both microangiographic and histopathologic findings in groups of each follow-up week. The results were as follows; 1. The main microangiographic findings were stretching and diffuse narrowing of vessels and extravasation of microbarium in post-irradiation 1-4 weeks, and focal narrowing and dilatation, irregular branching pattern and tortuosity of vessesl in in post-irradiation 8-16 weeks. Poor opacification of capillary network was continuously observed in all follow-up period. 2. The degree of vascular tortuosity in microangiography was consistent with the degree of vascular wall thickening in histopathology. 3. It is inferred that results in this experimental study with microangiography can be used as a guide line for further studies of post-irradiation injury of small intestine.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1984;20(1):120-127
Billiary cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma are rare neoplasms of the biliary ductal system. The authorspresent 2 cases of biliary cystadenoma and 3 cases of cystadenocarcinoma. The typical sonographic apearance ofthese tumors is a large intrahepatic gloular or ovoid thickwalled cystic mass which often containes multipleseptations with papillary growth and solid portion. Low-level internal echoes may be seen within the cystic mass. The characteristic CT findings of these tumors are multiloculated cystic mass, thick sepatations with papillaryprojection sand solid portion within the cystic mass. Angiographical characteristics of these tumors arehypovascular mass with frequent abnormal clusters of tumor vessels within the walls on arterial phase andaccumulation of contrast material along the wall or internal septation on delayed film.

Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(4):729-734
Objective To compare the advantages and disadvantages of the four DNA extraction methods according to the endophytic diversity in the roots, stems, and leaves of mulberry analyzed by polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (PCR-DGGE) , and by taking the yield, purity and PCR amplification as indexes. Methods Four common methods, i.e., cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide ( CTAB) , sterile phosphate buffered saline (SPBS) vibration, liquid nitrogen grinding (LNG) , and KIT methods, were used to extract the total DNA from different tissues of mulberry, and then were compared based on the diversity analysis results for endophyte by PCR-DGGE. Results From the roots and stems of mulberry, we got the highest concentration of DNA by LNG extraction method, and got the lowest concentration by SPBS extraction method. But for the leaves of mulberry, the results of the four extraction methods were completely opposite to those for the roots and stems. For different tissues of mulberry, the purity of DNA extracted by KIT method was the best. According to the endophytic bacteria diversity analyzed by 16S rDNA PCR-DGGE, the appropriate method for extraction of DNA was LNG or CTAB, but was not KIT. And according to the results of endophytic fungi diversity analyzed by ITS PCR-DGGE, the best extraction method was KIT, and the unsuited methods varied from the tissues of mulberry. Conclusion The optimum DNA extraction method for mulberry varies from the tissues of mulberry and endophtic bacteria.
