1.Application of magnetics in the health care
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;(11):16-17
The magnetic nearly do not have any disadvantages at therapeutic doses and do not cause the changes of cell structure and heteroplasia. The dependence on the magnetic is rare so the treatment with magnetic can be lasted. However, it has not known the side effects of the magnetic after many years (15-20) of the application of magnetic because the magnetic was applied newly

2.Application of magnet in prosthesis
Journal of Medical Research 2000;14(1):35-38
Application of magnetic force in retention of prostheses has been tried more than half century, but it was not clinically satisfactory. With the development of magnetic materials and manufacturing technique, magnetic attachment has been applied in various types of oral and maxillofacial prostheses successfully in recent 20 years.

3.Artificial magnetic field in treatment of cerebro-vascular insufficiency
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2004;0(9):27-30
51 patients with cerebro-vascular insufficiency were treated at 108 Military Hospital from June to December 2002. These patients were divided into 2 groups: 43 patients in group 1 were treated by alternating magnetic field; 8 patients in group 2 were treated by placebo. Alternating magnetic field with 45mT intensity had improved the symptoms of cerebro-vascular insufficiency such as: the relief of headache, vertigo, decrease in psychological and neuro-vegetative disorder, the decrease of stress making the sleep better and improving intellectuality. Results: 95.35% of patients in group 1 had more relief; 4.65% little relief, the moderate days of treatment were 14.484.79. A negative getting in the placebo group had demonstrated an objectiveness of the results. The intensity of magnetic field using in this study was suitable and almost without side effect during treatment

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2021;38(1):56-64
Medical magnetic nanoparticles are nano-medical materials with superparamagnetism, which can be collected in the tumor tissue through blood circulation, and magnetic particle imaging technology can be used to visualize the concentration of magnetic nanoparticles in the living body to achieve the purpose of tumor imaging. Based on the nonlinear magnetization characteristics of magnetic particles and the frequency characteristics of their magnetization, a differential detection method for the third harmonic of magnetic particle detection signals is proposed. It was modeled and analyzed, to study the nonlinear magnetization response characteristics of magnetic particles under alternating field, and the spectral characteristics of magnetic particle signals. At the same time, the relationship between each harmonic and the amount of medical magnetic nanoparticle samples was studied. On this basis, a signal detection experimental system was built to analyze the spectral characteristics and power spectral density of the detected signal, and to study the relationship between the signal and the excitation frequency. The signal detection experiment was carried out by the above method. The experimental results showed that under the alternating excitation field, the medical magnetic nanoparticles would generate a spike signal higher than the background sensing signal, and the magnetic particle signal existed in the odd harmonics of the detected signal spectrum. And the spectral energy was concentrated at the third harmonic, that is, the third harmonic magnetic particle signal detection that meets the medical detection requirement could be realized. In addition, the relationship between each harmonic and the particle sample volume had a positive growth relationship, and the detected medical magnetic nanoparticle sample volume could be determined according to the relationship. At the same time, the selection of the excitation frequency was limited by the sensitivity of the system, and the detection peak of the third harmonic of the detection signal was reached at the excitation frequency of 1 kHz. It provides theoretical and technical support for the detection of medical magnetic nanoparticle imaging signals in magnetic particle imaging research.

Journal of Korean Foot and Ankle Society 2011;15(3):179-182
Naviculocuneiform coalition is one of uncommon tarsal coalitions and especially symptomatic cases which need operative treatment are rare. Authors report 2 cases of pediatric naviculocuneiform patients who showed symptomatic condition as mainly pain. Plain radiographs, computed tomography or magnetic resolution imaging study showed bony bridge in naviculo-medial cuneiform joint. After over six months conservative treatment, excision of coalition and interposition Tisseel(R) was performed for motion preservation and relief of pain.

8.Fusion Imaging of MRI and US for Evaluating Breast Lesions.

Journal of the Korean Society of Medical Ultrasound 2011;30(3):163-166
Second look US evaluation is frequently performed for assessing incidentally discovered enhancing lesions seen on MRI. However, the success of the examination depends on the experience and technique of the operator. Sonographic identification of an MRI incidentally detected lesion is difficult because the patient's body is positioned differently during sonography than it is during MRI. Fusion imaging of MRI and US has recently been developed, for which a position tracking system is coordinated with a magnetic sensor. This system synchronizes an ultrasound image and the MR image with multi-planar reconstruction (MPR) of the same area in real time. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of fusion imaging of MR and US for evaluating breast lesions.
