1.STUDIES ON THE SURFACE PROJECTIONS OFTHE FRONTAL SINUSES
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
By using intracranial illumination, the surface outlines of the frontal sinuses of 65male Chinese skulls (85 cases) were studied. The frontal sinuses were grouped into 5types according to the relationship of the sinus with the orbit. Three types were visibleon the surface of the squamous portion of the frontal bones (76.5%), whereas the other2 types were only visible intraorbitally (23.5%). Of the 5 types, 4 types of sinuseswere intimately related with the orbit (84.7%). The clinical significance of the above mentioned facts was discussed.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2001;0(05):-
Plasma aldosterene/renin ratio (ARR) is a sensitive screening test and parameter for primary aldosteronism(PA).The use of ARR leads to a marked increase in the detection rate of PA in the hypertensive population. However,ARR remains a nonstandardized test, and the cutoff value of ARR used in the different studies is varied.Further and systematical studies are needed to improve the accuracy of the test.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(01):-
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) non structure 3 (NS3) protein and hepatitis B virus (HBV) X protein expressing plasmids were constructed with the vector pcDNA3 1(-). The plasmids were transfected into HepG2 cells and the viral proteins expressed in HepG2 cells were identified using Western blotting methods. Then the two recombined plasmids were transfected into HepG2 cells and were cotransfected into HepG2 cells with reporter plasmid pCAT3 promoter. The activity of CAT enzyme was detected by a CAT ELISA assay kit, which reflected the transactivating function of two proteins on SV40 early promoter. The findings indicated that the expression of two viral proteins were successfully detected in soluble protein cell extracts of transiently transfected HepG2 cells. HCV NS3 protein transactivated the CAT enzyme expressed at a value 3 5 fold higher than the control, while HBX protein transactivated at a value 4 4 times. It arrived at 8 5 times when transfected with two plamids simultaneously. The activating effect was increased in relation to the amount of plasmids. It was suggested that the two kinds of viral proteins had a transactivating effect on SV40 early promoter, and they acted synergistically. These results might contribute to explaining the mechanisms of liver injury or tumorigenesis induced by HCV or/and HBV infection

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(01):-
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) non structure 3 (NS3) gene was amplified from plasmid pBRTM3011 by employing polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and the amplified product was cloned into pcDNA3 1(-) vector. Then the recombinant plasmid pcDNA3 1(-) NS3 was transfected into HepG2 cells and was cotransfected into HepG2 cells with reporter plasmid pCAT3 promoter, respectively. HCV NS3 protein expressed in HepG2 cells was detected by reverse transcription PCR (RT PCR) and Western blotting method. The activity of CAT was detected by a ELISA kit, which reflected the transactivating function of HCV NS3 protein. The results showed that HepG2 cells transfected with pcDNA3 1(-) NS3 could express HCV NS3 protein. The expression of CAT in HepG2 cells transfected with the pcDNA3 1(-) NS3 was 4 6 fold higher than that of control plasmid. It was suggested that the recombinant plasmid pcDNA3 1(-) NS3 could be expressed in mammalian cell line, and had transactivating effect on SV40 early promoter

Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(4):345-347
ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture plus herbal-partitioned moxibustion in treating temporomandibular joint disorder.MethodNinety patientswith temporomandibular joint disorder were randomized into a treatment group of 45 cases and a control group of 45 cases. The treatment group was intervened by electroacupuncture plus herbal-partitioned moxibustion, while the control group was by medication. The therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after 3 treatment courses by a specially-assigned person.ResultThe recovery rate and total effective rate were respectively 64.4% and 97.8% in the treatment group versus 37.8% and 82.2% in the control group, andthe total effective rate and recovery rate in the treatment group were significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05); regarding the comparison of the efficacy and treatment duration of the recovered subjects, the recovery rates at the end of the 1st course, 2nd course and 3rd course in the treatment group were all markedly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05), indicating that electroacupuncture plus herbal-partitioned moxibustion can shorten the period of treatment for temporomandibular joint disorder. The therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group was significantly superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionElectroacupuncture plus herbal-partitioned moxibustion can produce a significant efficacy in treating temporomandibular joint disorder.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(14):1927-1928
Objective To evaluate the clinical applied effects of tibial shaft fracture with intramedullary interlocking nail and small incision. Methods From November 2004 to October 2005,47 cases of tibial shaft fracture were treated with intramedullary interlocking nail, all the cases were adopted with small incision and intramedullary interlocking nail, and analysed the curative effects Results 47 cases were followed-up ranged 8 ~ 27 months. All cases resumed normal knee function 6 to 12 weeks after operation, without nonunion and malunion. Conclusion Treatment of tibial shaft fracture with intramedullary interlocking nail and small incision had the advantages of little trauma, good stability, high rate of fracture union and rapid functions recovery. It is worthy deserveed to be put into application and populatization in clinics.

Journal of China Medical University 2009;(10):778-780
Objective To evaluate the clinical results of biofeedback and pelvic electric stimulation therapy for stress urinary incontinence in women. Methods Totally 36 women with stress urinary incontinence were prospcctively studied by treating with biofeedback and pelvic electric stimulation therapy (MeprasolBIO2001). All the patients were follow-up for 3 months. Results About 70% of the patients were completely dry and 22% reported subjective improved, the recurrence rate at 3 months follow-up was 60%. Conclusion Biofeedback and pelvic electric stimulation therapy is a safe method for treating stress urinary incontinence. It is effective and easy to perform as an outpatient treatment. But the therapy should be performed for a longterm.

Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2008;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the mechanism for rhein to improve the insulin sensitivity in diabetes mellitus. Methods Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control group (NC,n=15) and diabetic group (DM,n=40) induced by STZ and high-fat diet.Diabetic rats were randomly divided into diabetic control group (DM-C,n=15) and diabetic group treated with rhein (DM-T,n=15).Then DM-T group was given intragastric administration with rhein at the dose of 100 mg/ (kg-1?d-1) for 11 weeks.FBG,fasting serum insulin (FIns),triglyceride (TG),total cholesterol (TC),insulin sensitivity index (ISI) and other biochemical parameters in each group were measured. The protein expressions of PPAR-? and GluT-4 were determined by immunohistochemistry and Western blot. Results At the end of the 17th week, compared with NC group,DM-C group showed higher FBG and TG,lower ISI,lower protein expressions of PPAR-? and GluT-4 in the adipose tissue.Compared with DM-C group,DM-T group showed lower FBG [(15.73?3.08 vs 22.57?3.23) mmol/l,P
