Retinal angiomatous proliferation(RAP) is a special type of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) with a pathological process of neovascularization.Different with several types of neovascular AMD,the new blood vessel in RAP is believed to originate from the inner retinal circulation.Because of inadequate knowledge,there still exist some limited understanding for this disease,such as its clinical diagnosis,therapy effectiveness and its poor prognosis.The newest interpretation about RAP was based on the findings of indocyanine green angiography(ICGA) and the first generation of optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging system.The stage,histogenesis,histopathology,nature process,fundus findings,differentiating diagnosis and treatrnent of RAP were reviewed.

In this experiment, the crude Fructus Crataegi, its baked product, the products baked to dark brown and baked to charcoal were compared regarding the gastrointestinal promote function of rat, the content of free acids in stomach, total acids, pepsin and nitrite as indices. As a result, the crude and the fried product possessed greater effects on the digestive ability of rats, but their nitrite content was lower. It was preliminary suggested that adding the crude and the fried product into digestant be an optimum selection

Objective: To study and discuss the experience veteran TCM doctor KONG Si-bo in treating optical disease. Methods: To analyze the academic thoughts of KONG Si-Bo from four aspects: theory, method, formula and herbs. Results: According to differentiation of syndrome, KONG Si-bo emphasized on the entirety and treating according to three categories of disease causes. He thought that on the base of traditional eight principle differentiation, yin and yang played a more important role in differentiation. In treatment aspect, he prefered to eliminating stagnation, especially eliminating liver stagnation. As for herbs, he liked using Shigao to clear heat, and had lots of gains from learning about herbs of expelling wind, regulating qi, dissipating stasis, invigoration. Conclusions: The experience of expert KONG Si-bo in treating optical disease deserved researching and learning by other doctors.
4.Advances in the Research of Long Life Recombinant Protein Drug

The recombinant protein drug usually has a short half-life after intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) administration. The methods of prolonging the half-life of recombinant protein drug in common use are mainly based on three principles: 1 Amplifying the molecule weight of protein drug; 2 Making use of drug balance in the blood; 3 Reducing Immunogenicity. Three methods were focused on: Analog construction, PEGylation and Albumin fusion technology. The characteristics, half-life and immunogenicity problem of their products in the market and under development are summarized.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the mutation of the exon 4 of leptin receptor gene(4Lys 109 Arg)and left ventricular function and renal hemodynamics in patients with hypertension.Methods From December 2005 to December 2006,digoxin marked primer enzyme coloration technique was used to detect the 4Lys 109 Arg polymorphism.The color Doppler echocardiography was used to detect the left ventricular function and the renal hemodynamics.The study covered 90 patients with hypertension (hypertension group)and 52 controls (control group).Results The frequencies of 4Lys109Arg in hypertension group and control group had no significant difference.The hypertension with GG genotype was significant difference in left ventrieular ejection fraction(LVEF),E/A,left ventrieular fractional shortening(LVFS),resistance index(BI),pulsatility index(PI)(P<0.05).The hypertension with GA genotype had significant difference in LVEF,E/A,LVFS(P<0.05).In hypertension group,LVEF,E/A,LVFS.RI and PI had significant difference between GG and AA genotype(P<0.05).In control goup,RI had significant difference between GG and AA genotype(0.65 ±0.02 vs 0.63±0.02,P<0.05).Conclusion The renal hemodynamics and the left ventricular function are associated with 4Lys109Arg polymorphism.
7.The design of mushroom covered stent and the primary application for gastroesophageal anastomosis-thoracic cavity fistula

Objective To design the mushroom covered stent and study the primary application for gastroesophageal anastomosis thoracic cavity fistula.Methods On the base of the peculiar anatomic structure and the pathological changes of gastroesophageal anastomosis thoracic cavity fistula, we designed the mushroom covered stent. Under the fluoroscopic guidance, 6 mushroom covered stents were placed in 5 patients.Results The fistula oral of the patients with post operative perforation were closed with the mushroom covered stent, the food intake ability and nutriture of all patients were improved.Conclusions The structure of the mushroom covered stents is reasonable, which is effective and safe for treating the patient with gastroesophageal anastomosis thoracic cavity fistula.
8.Effect of ACH on contamination diffusion in turbulent cleanroom

This paper analyzes and simulates the effect of the air change rate per hour (ACH) on contamination diffusion airflow field in turbulent clean-room of hole-board ventilation by using CFD. The quality of Contaminant Removal Effectiveness (CRE) is compared with ACH ranging from 15 to 70. According to the simulation,it is the best condition of CRE in clean room when air change rate is 55 per hour,and the conclusion provides a theoretic basis for engineering design.
9.Experimental investigation and numerical simulation of air distribution in the class Ⅲ biosafety laboratory

In dynamic state,the airflow and particle distribution of class Ⅲ biosafety laboratory is simulated by means of the CFD.The identical results of the simulation and the practical survey show good reliability of this experiment.The result indicates that the good unidirectional air distribution is formed in main lab and air distribution is the main factors to determine the character of particle distribution.
10.Tracheal catheter made from nanometer antimicrobial plastics: toxicity and physical, chemical and antimicrobial properties

Objective To study the toxicity and physical, chemi ca l and antimicrobial properties of the tracheal catheter made with nanometer anti microbial plastics. Methods For examining the toxicity of the n ew tracheal catheter, 30 Kunming mice were divided into 3 groups. The mice in gr oup A received 2ml of fluid sucked through the catheter by intra-abdominal inje ction, the mice in group B received 1ml of suction fluid, and the mice in group C received 2 ml of normal saline. Multiple proportional dilutions were used to d etect the antimicrobial property of the tracheal catheter against both positive and negative Gram bacteria. Results No noxious effects or toxic ity was found in tested mice, and all the physical and chemical data of the cath eter were up to the National Standard. The catheter showed a certain antimicrobi al effects on some of common pathogenic bacteria. Conclusion Th e tracheal catheter made with nanometer antimicrobial plastics had no noxious ef fects on mice, it showed a certain antimicrobial effects on to some of common pa thogenic bacteria, and its physical and chemical properties were up to the Natio nal Standard.
