This paper mainly discussed a bacterial stain with high flocculating activity isolated from cantaloupe juice .The strain was named Bacillus sp.B_(53) based on colony morphology, physiological and biochemistry experiments. The new flocculant was purified and shown to be a homopolymer of glutamic acid by HLPC analysis and thin layer chromatography, and presumed to be Poly ?-glutamic acid(?-PGA). ?-PGA 12.48g/L was achieved in shake flask. The purified material showed a absorption peak at 212nm, and was only composed of L-Glu. The MW could be detected through SDS-PAGE, and its MW was about a molecular mass between 440kD with 669kD. This bioflocculant efficiently flocculated various organic and inorganic suspensions. It's flocculanting effect on kaolin and ([BF]Ca(OH)_2[BFQ]) was superior to others.

To reveal the characterization of interaction between Chinese and western medicinal injections, isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) was applied to evaluating the interaction of Yiqi Fumai injection (YQFM, as mode drug) with epinephrine hydrochloride injection (YS) and 5% glucose injection (5% GS). The diversification of Gibbs free energy (ΔG), enthalpy (ΔH), and entropy (ΔS) were determined to judge the reaction types of colliquefaction procedures of different injections. Meanwhile, the fingerprints of YQFM before and after combined with the various injections were compared to validate the results. This work demonstrated that during the titration procedure of YQFM and YS, [ΔH] > T [ΔS] , that was to say the reaction was enthalpy-driving. And the reactive profile indicated that a great deal of heat gave out during the procedure. Obviously, chemical reactions happened and the internal component changed. On the other side, the reaction of YQFM combined with 5% GS was entropy-driving, because [ΔH] < T [ΔS]. The reactive profile showed there was only a little heat released. So non-chemical reactions happened and the major ingredients did not change. ITC could be applied to the evaluation on compatibility of other kinds of Chinese and western medicinal injection combination.

OBJECTIVETo observe the anti-viral therapy effect on HBV reactivation in malignant tumor patients and hepatitis B virus carriers after their cancer chemotherapy.
METHODSThirteen cancer patients but also chronic hepatitis B virus carriers were enrolled in this study. They were randomly put into two groups. Eight patients were put in the therapeutic group. They all had abnormal liver functions induced by the reactivation of HBV after their cancer chemotherapy. Then they were treated with lamivudine. The other 5 cases were treated with lamivudine before their cancer chemotherapy when their serum HBV DNA levels were less than 10(3) copies/ml (preventive therapeutic group). The two groups were followed-up with liver function tests and serum HBV DNA level measurements.
RESULTSAmong the 8 cases of the therapeutic group, 5 cases died of liver failure; cancer chemotherapy was postponed or even terminated in 3 patients due to liver function abnormality and anti-virus treatment was started. In the preventive therapy group, no HBV reactivation was observed in any of the 5 cases.
CONCLUSIONFor HBV carrier cancer patients, an anti-viral therapy before their cancer chemotherapy seems to be very important.

OBJECTIVETo observe the influence of therapy with Chinese medicine Lirukang Granule (, LRKG) combined with psychological intervention on anxiety states and sex hormones in patients with cyclomastopathy and menoxenia.
METHODSA total of 470 subjects were randomly assigned to three groups by the net-central randomization system, the treatment group (161 patients, treated with LRKG and psychological intervention), the Chinese medicine group (157 patients, treated with LRKG), and the psychological intervention group (152 patients, treated with psychological intervention). The dose of LRKG was 12 g three times per day; psychological intervention included establishing relations, cognitive intervention and psychological persuasion, 30-40 min per session, once a week. The therapy duration for all groups was three months. The efficacy was compared and anxiety state/State-Trait Anxiety Invertory (STAI) scoring was measured before and after treatment. The serum estradiol (E2), progesterone (P), prolactin (PRL) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) levels of 60 patients selected randomly from each group during the luteal phase were measured before and after treatment, and a group of 20 healthy women were evaluated for comparison. A follow-up was arranged for one year after treatment.
RESULTSThirty subjects were lost to follow-up. (1) Comparison of efficacy: the markedly effective rate and the total effective rate of the treatment group were 86.67% (131/150) and 98.00% (147/150), respectively; of the Chinese medicine group, 64.58% (93/144) and 90.27% (130/144), respectively; and of the psychological intervention group, 0% (0/146) and 3.42% (5/146), respectively. The markedly effective rate and the total effective rate in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the Chinese medicine and psychological intervention groups (P < 0.05). (2) Comparison of STAI scoring: STAI scoring was decreased dramatically in the treatment group after treatment compared with that of the Chinese medicine group (P < 0.01), but there was no significant difference compared with the psychological intervention group. (3) Comparison of levels of sex hormones: E2, P, PRL and FSH of the three patient groups were disordered before treatment, and significantly different from healthy women (P < 0.01). After treatment, the levels of P and FSH of the treatment group were significantly increased (P < 0.01), E2 and PRL were significantly reduced, which were also significantly decreased compared with the psychological intervention groups (P < 0.01). (4) FOLLOW-UP: the markedly effective rate and the total effective rate of the treatment group remained higher than those of the other two groups after one year of treatment (P < 0.05). (5) Adverse reactions: no obvious adverse reactions were found among the three groups.
CONCLUSIONSTherapy with Chinese medicine combined with psychological intervention was effective for short-term and long-term treatment of cyclomastopathy and menoxenia. The mechanism might be related to the regulation of sex hormones.

Objective To compare the clinical features between cryptogenic stoke(CS)with and without right-to-left shunt(RLS)so as to determine whether shunt severity determined by control-enhanced transcranial Doppler(c-TCD)is correlated with the risk of paradoxical embolism(RoPE)score. Methods We made a retrospective analysis of clinical characteristics of 138 CS patients with and without RLS admitted to our department between January 2014 and November 2016.For patients documented by c-TCD,we evaluated whether there was a correlation between RLS severity and RoPE score. RLS was diagnosed by c-TCD and contrast-enhanced transthoracic echocardiography(c-TTE).We compared every modality for detecting RLS with and without Valsalva maneuver. For patients found with RLS in c-TCD and c-TTE,we judged whether there was an agreement in grading RLS between two modalities. Results For patients with CS,shunt severity by c-TCD was positively correlated with RoPE score(r= 0.26,P= 0.05).The clinical features were different between CS patients with RLS and without RLS.Compared with the positive results of c-TCD and c-TTE at rest, the positive rate was higher in Valsalva maneuver,respectively(P<0.01).There was a moderate agreement between shunt grades identified by the two techniques(Kappa=0.428).Conclusion There is a positive correlation between RoPE score and RLS severity determined by c-TCD in CS patients.Valsalva maneuver can significantly increase the positive rate of RLS detected by c-TCD and c-TTE.

Objective To establish a quantitative analysis method for determining 99mTc-HYNIC-PEG4-E[PEG4-c(RGDfK)]2 (99mTc-3PRGD2,a radioactive tumor agent)byγcounter, and to investigate the distribution of 99mTc-3PRGD2 in mice bearing with lung carcinoma xenograft. Methods The mice were divided into 4 normal groups and one blocking peptide group(control group). The 99mTc-3PRGD2(8μg/kg)was injected to mice bearing with lung carcinoma xenograft through the tail intravenous administration. Tissues of the normal mice were taken at 0.5,1,2 and 4 h. The control group were treated by 3PRGD2 and 99mTc-3PRGD2. The control mice were injected with the 3PRGD2 saline solution(2.5 mg/ml,0.2 ml)at 0.5 h earlier before the injection of 99mTc-3PRGD2. The tu?mor and organ tissues of the control mice were taken at 2 h. The radioactivity was detected by Gamma Counter. Results The radioac?tivity of 99mTc-3PRGD2 detected was high in the tumor and very low in brain. In addition, high radioactivity in kidneys and bladder sug?gested that the drug excreted by renal. Conclusion The results proved that the blocking peptide can competitively inhibit the combi?nation of 99mTc-3PRGD2 and integrinαvβ3 receptors.
