The maximum specific binding(Bmax)and the dissociation constants(K D) of 8H -dihydroalprenolol in rat myocardial membrane are 104.1 +4. 7 fmol/mg protein and 10.1+2.7nM, respectively, and the Hill coeffici-ent(nn) is equal to 1.007+0.002. The half inhibition concentration concentration ( IC50) of bunitrolol and propranolol on 3H - dihydroal- prcnolol binding to myocardial B-adrenergic receptors are 3.30+ 0. 74 x 10- 8M ,and 3. 87+0.66 x 10-7M , the apparant dissociation constants (Kl) are 2.2+0.48x10-8M and 2.58+0.44x10-7M, respectively. The affinity of bunitrolol to myocardial B-adrener-gic receptors is 11.7 times as potent as propra'nolol.

Objective To study the volume of lateral cerebral ventricle in neonates with threedimensional ultrasonography(3F-US),and to investigate the influence of sex,body weight(BW),head circumference(HC)and gestational age(GA) on it. Methods A total of 255 healthy neonates (GA 28~40 weeks) were examined with 3D cranial ultrasound. The ultrasonography was performed with anterior fontanel as the acoustic window,and the data were aquired at the deck of third ventricle on coronal section.The 3D image on the screen was constructed automatically and the volume of lateral cerebral ventricle was (P=0.809),and there was negative correlation between the volume of lateral cerebral ventricle and GA(r=-0.971). The correlation between the volume of lateral cerebral ventricle and HC was positive(r≥According to the relationships among HC(X 1),GA(X 2)and volume of lateral cerebral ventricle(Y),a linear regression equation Y=2.298-0.011 X1-0.04 X2 was obtained(the determinate coefficient R2 was accurately,which would be helpful to the evaluation on the cerebral maturity and the diagnosis of cerebral desease in neonates without wound.

Objective To explore the effects of physical exercises on recurrent seizures-induced long-term learning and memory deficits and on the expression of zinc transporter-3(ZnT-3)in hippocampuses of developmental period rats.Methods Sprague-Dawley rats aged 21 d were randomly divided into blank control group,exercises control group,seizure group and seizure plus exercises group.Abdominal cavity injections of penicillin or saline were used to induce recurrent seizure or as a control in the corresponding groups.During the postnatal(P)39-44 d and P61-65 d periods,Morris water-maze tests were administered to evaluate spatial learning and memory capacity.During the P48-53 d period,the rats in exercises control and seizure plus exercises groups were subjected to a 30-min daily aerobic exercises program for 6 d.The real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)method was used to detect the expression of ZuT-3 mRNA in hippocampuses of all rats at P66 d. Results Searching strategy:There was a decreasing incidence of marginal strategy and an increasing trend in the use of taxis and straight line strategy in all four groups.The scores on d 1 and 4 were significantly higher in two control groups than in two seizure groups in water-maze test(all P＜0.05).By d 2 the exercises control and seizure plus exercises groups were scoring significantly higher than the bland control and seizure groups(P＜0.05).Memory test:The frequency of passing through the platform quadrant decreased significantly in the two seizure groups compared to the two control groups in both probe tests(all P＜0.05).RT-PCR test:ZnT-3 mRNA expressions in hippocampuses were significantly higher in seizure plus exercises group than in any other groups. Conclusions Penicillin-induced recurrent seizures can induce long-term damage on learning and memory capacity in developmerital period rats.Physical exercises can improve learning capacity.It's mechanism may be related to the up-regulation of ZnT-3 expression in hippocampus of rats.

Objective To investigate the effect of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty(PTA) by minor-caliber and long balloon on diabetic patients with below-knee artery. Methods 16 consecutive DM patients(21 limbs)were treated with PTA by minor-caliber and long balloon and followed 7 months(1 ～22 months). The success rate,complication,clinical effects and the changes of ABI were investigated and analyzed. Results The technical success rate is 90.5% (19/21) ,no serious complication occurred. The clinical symptoms of all patients improved after successful PTA. The median ABI marginally increased from the baseline value of (0.31 ±0. 15) to (0.57 ±0.23) after intervention,the difference is significant (P ＜ 0.05). Post-operative pain in patients with rest pain disappeared 9 (60.0%), relieved 4 (26.7%), reduce 2 (13.3 %). Ulcer healing in patients with foot gangrene 4 (66.7 %), Ulcer area was significantly reduced 1 (16.7%), high amputation 1 (16.7%). Postoperative follow-up, two limbs reoperation because of increased symptoms. Conclusion The treatment of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty by minorcaliber and long balloon was effective on diabetic patients with below-knee arterial disease.

Objective To explore the application value of ultra -high frequency ultrasound in detection of femoral artery stenosis in rabbits.Methods Twenty-four healthy male New Zealand white rabbits (body weight 2.5 -3.0 kg) were randomly divided into three groups , 8 rabbits in each group.Preparation of femoral atherosclerosis model : the rabbits were fed with high fat diet for 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks after femoral artery balloon injury , respectively.The changes of cholesterol level were observed .We used ultra-high frequency ultrasonic probe to observe the femoral artery , to assess the diameter stenosis rate and peak systolic velocity (SPV) at the symptomatic side, and the histological areal stenosis was evaluated.Results 1.The blood cholesterol levels were increased after fed high cholesterol diet , with a significant difference among the groups (P <0.001); 2.There was a stenosis to a different degree in the modeling artery after fed high cholesterol diet for 4 wks, 8 wks, and 12 wks, and the stenosis degree was increased gradually .At 12 w, the degree of stenosis was higher than that at 4 w and 8 w, respectively, showing statistical significance ( P <0.001).At the symptomatic side, the peak systolic flow velocity was increased , and it was higher at 12 w than that at 4w and 8 w, respectively.3.With the extension of time, the arterial stenosis rate was increased along with the time course (P <0.05). Conclusions 1.High fat diet combined with balloon injury can cause varying degrees of rabbit femoral artery stenosis ; 2. Ultrahigh frequency ultrasound can clearly show different degrees of rabbit femoral artery stenosis , and can be used for detecting the lesions in animal models of peripheral vascular diseases .

Objective To discuss the features,such as clinical symptoms,pathologic morphologies,immunohistochemical staining of minimal deviation adenocarcinoma and microglandular hyperplasia of the uterine cervix in order to improve the accuracy of pathological diagnosis.Methods s:Histopathologic characteristics of total hysterectomies in 2 cases of minimal deviation adenocarcinoma and 1 case of cervical microglandular hyperplasia based on the formalin-fixed,paralfin-embedded and hematoxylin-eosin stained tissue were analyzed retrospectively.Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of CEA,p53,PCNA,and Ki-67 in all 3 cases.Results The main clinical symptoms of minimal deviation adenocarcinoma were watery leucorrhea and enlargement of the cervix.The pathological findings of MDA included hyperplasia of the glands with cytological minimal atypia,invasion effects into the stroma could be observed in some glands and abortive glands with desmoplastic changes,or edema and inflammatory infiltration around the glands were also observed.The invasion presented in the deep part of the cervix as well.The patiant of MGH had a history of oval contraceptive use.Histological features of MGH included tightly packed glands in different sizes and shapes,presentation of inflammatory cells in stroma and glandular lumens,and focal epithelial cell pleomorphism and hyperchromatism but without mitosis.CEA was positive in all two MDA cases,but the tissue of MGH was negative for CEA.The expressions of the other four markers had no difference between MDA and MGH.Conclusions For patients with watery discharge and/or hypertrophy of cervix,the deep ( ＞ 5 mm ) biopsies should be performed.The immunohistochemical staining for CEA,p53,CA125 and ER has adjuvant diagnostic values.It is extremely important to recognize that MGH is an entirely benign lesion.

Objective To observe the time-course expression of zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1) in cerebral cortex after traumatic brain injury (TBI). Methods The TBI model of mouse was established. The mice were divided in 1 h, 3 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, 3 d, 7 d after TBI, shamand control groups. The permeability of the blood brain barrier was evaluated by measuring the extravasation of Evans blue (EB) dye. The expression of Z O-1 in cerebral cortex in the injured area was detected by western blotting and im-munohistochemistry. Results The extravasation of EBdye of injured cortex gradually increased from 1 h, peaked at 1-3 d and approximately decreased to normal at 7 d after TBI. western blotting revealed that the expression of Z O-1 gradually decreased after 1 h, was at the lowest at 1-3 d, and then significantly increased after 7 d but was still lower than that of normal and shamgroups. The result of immunohisto-chemistry showed that Z O-1 had strong expression in vessel of normal cortex, gradually decreased after TBI, and almost disappeared at 3 d after TBI and gradually recovered to normal level later. Conclusion The expression of Z O-1 in the injured cortex after TBI initially decreases and then increases. The nega-tive correlation between Z O-1 expression and EBextravasation after TBI could be used as a newindi-cator for wound age estimation.

Objective T o observe the changes of cystathionine β-synthase (C B S ) expression in the cere-bral cortex after brain contusion at different tim es. Methods A n experim ental m odel of traum atic brain injury (T B I) in m ice w as established by an im proved w eight-drop device. T hen W estern blotting and im m unohistochem ical exam ination w ere used to detect the C B S expression in cerebral cortex around in-jury at different tim e points (1 h, 6 h, 12 h, 1 d, 2 d, 3 d, 7 d). Results T he results of W estern blotting revealed that the expression level of C B S w as dow n-regulated and reached its low est level at the 3rd days after injury, and then restored to norm al level after 7 days. T he results of im m unohistochem istry show ed that C B S w as present in the norm al brain cortex. C B S expression gradually decreased at the 3rd days after injury, and then restored to norm al level after 7 days. Conclusion C B S has the potential to be a reference index for tim e estim ation after brain contusion in forensic practice.

OBJECTIVE:To systematically review the efficacy and safety of insulin glargine versus insulin detemir in the treat-ment of type 2 diabetes,and provide evidence-based reference for clinical treatment. METHODS:Retrieved from PubMed,EM-Base,Cochrane Library,CBM,CJFD,VIP and Wanfang database,randomized controlled trials (RCT) about the clinical efficacy and safety of insulin glargine versus insulin detemir in the treatment of type 2 diabetes were collected. Meta-analysis was performed by using Rev Man 5.2 software after data extraction and quality evaluation by Cochrane 5.1.0. RESULTS:A total of 18 RCTs,in-volving 3 638 patients were included. Results of Meta-analysis showed there was no significant difference in reducing glycosylated hemoglobin[MD=0.08,95%CI (-0.01,0.17),P=0.09];fasting blood glucose level in insulin glargine group was significantly lower thaninsulin detemir,the difference was statistically significant [MD=0.15,95%CI(0.03,0.27),P=0.02]. And there was no significant difference in the incidence of hypoglycemia [OR=0.97,95%CI(0.91,1.03),P=0.25];the degree of body mass gain ininsulin detemir was significantly lower than insulin glargine group [MD=-0.95,95%CI(-1.06,-0.85),P=0.003],but the in-cidence of injection site reactions was significantly higher than insulin glargine group [OR=2.28,95%CI(1.16,4.50),P=0.02],the differences were statistically significant. CONCLUSIONS:The insulin glargine has better efficacy,than insulin detemir with lower incidence of injection site reactions but higher degree of body mass gain than insulin detemir in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

ObjectiveTo observe ultrasound images of normal full-term intracranial venous system,in order to provide reference images and guidelines for clinical practice.Methods Courser shape and spectrum characters by anterior fontanel acoustic window of 65 normal newborn infants had been observed.Results①The demonstration of subendymal vein,cerebral vein,Galen vein longitudinal sinus,straight sinus,lateral sinus confluence was 100％,that of basal vein and falcial sinus was 21％ (14/65) and 29％ (19/65),respectively.②The flow rate of a cranial vein decreased.③ In the overall 65 cases,9 ependymal veins,intracranial veins,Galen veins,62 sinus rectus,63 lateral sinuses,65 longitudinal sinuses and confluence sinuums had impulsive blood spectrum.A basal vein had impulsivity in 14 cases.4 of 19 falcial sinuses had impulsivity.Conclusions Color Doppler ultrasound can identify intracranial veins effectively,but some limitations must be taken into account.Blood flow rate of Galen vein sinus confluence is immeasurable.
