Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) is a common malignancy in china, and TNM staging is the standard staging system for ESCC.However,in clinical practice, patients' prognosis is not always consistent with the staging. This phenomenon may be attributed from the fact that the current limitation and imperfect of the TNM staging system, and besides, another possible reason might be that some prognostic factors for ESCC other than TNM descriptors may exist.Among all the prognostic factors for ESCC,molecular biomarkers received widely concern. We searched the literatures and identified 12 molecular biomarkers that received the most concern and validated them in our single surgeon team. The results showed that only P21,COX-2 and E-cadherin were significant prognostic factors for ESCC in this series. Therefore,in the current study,we reviewed the literature regarding the prognostic significance of the above mentioned three biomarkers for clinical reference.

Objectives By survey the head nurses or nursing instructors,to know the one year professional performance of nurses graduated from Sino-Australia cooperation program of Jinhua Polytechnic, which can help us to make the educational plan and further cultivation.MethodSelf-composed questionnaire is provided to 32 head nurses or nursing instructors from secondary and tertiary hospitals of Zhejiang province.SPSS 18 is applied for data analysis.ResultThe nurses' performance is generally consistent to the objectives ofthe Sino-Australia nursing program and the rating scores are normally distributed. There is no significant difference in the average performance of nurses comparing to a test value of 71,P≤0.08.The scores of professional quality, nursing competency,English ability, humanitarian caring, active learning, team work and adaptability to clinical responsibilities were especially well rated.ConclusionResults indicated that the school should appropriately adjust the direction for students' employment, consider to localize the nursing courses introduced from foreign countries. It is necessary for the hospitals to ponder on how to further cultivate and utilize the English competency of the nurses, and use the individualized strategies to retain the nurses who are proficient in English.

Objective Feedback of 35 graduates from a Sino-Australia cooperation program was investigated at 1 -year fulfillment of clinical practice, and reflect some of the issues in the process of cultivation and utilization of nursing talents from the program. Methods 32 nursing talents from a Sino-Australia cooperation program at 1 -year fulfillment of clinical practice was selected as research object.Self made questionnaires baaed on the goal of the program were used, which included both open and close questions. The investigation results were analyzed. Results The nursing talents considered that the main advantages of the program were as followed:cultivation of their ability in active communication, improving English level, broaden international vision, and internationalization of courses. Conclusions Stratified and individualized teaching strategies need to be implemented.English study and nursing specialty study are to be appropriately combined.Routes of employment should be broadened. In addition, imported courses are to be adjusted according to domestic situation. While attaching importance in teaching, faculty should also emphasize advising. Finally,it is not to be ignored for the hospitals that they are responsible for greater utilization and cultivation of the nurses with both nursing and English ability.
4.Expressions and clinical significances of CD68 and ABHD5 in gastric carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2018;45(3):153-156
Objective To evaluate the expressions of CD68 and alpha/beta hydrolase domain-containing protein 5 (ABHD5) in gastric carcinoma and their interrelation, and the relationship with the clinicopathological features of gastric carcinoma. Methods The immunohistochemistry staining was used to determine the expressions of CD68 and ABHD5 in 60 cases of gastric carcinoma and 30 cases of adjacent normal tissues. The relationships between CD68,ABHD5 and clinicopathological features of gastric carcinoma, and the correlation of them were analyzed. Results The expressions of CD68 and ABHD5 in gastric carcinoma were significantly higher than those in adjacent normal tissues, and the positive expression rates were 65.00% vs.26.67%(x2 =11.779,P =0.001) and 60.00% vs.30.00% (x2 =7.200,P =0.007) respectively, with significant differences. The expression of CD68 was related to TNM stage (x2 =7.959,P =0.005),lymph node metastasis (x2 =6.901,P =0.009) and serosal invasion (x2 =5.833,P =0.016),but it was not associated with pathological grade (x2 =0.028,P =0.866),gender (x2 =0.533,P =0.465) and age (x2 =0.060,P =0.807).The expression of ABHD5 was related to pathological grade (x2 =4.318,P =0.038),TNM stage (/x2 =4.051,P =0.044) and serosal invasion (x2 =5.275,P =0.022),but it was not associated with lymph node metastasis (x2 =0.545,P =0.460),gender (x2 =0.191,P =0.662) and age (x2 =1.358,P =0.244).Contingency correlation analysis showed that there was positive correlation between CD68 and ABHD5 in gastric cancer (c =0.328,P =0.010).Conclusion The expressions of CD68 and ABHD5 in gastric carcinoma are higher than those in adjacent normal tissues, which are correlated with the different clinicopathological features of gastric carcinoma. The expression of CD68 is positively correlated with the expression of ABHD5.The combined detection of CD68 and ABHD5 expressions in gastric carcinoma is helpful to evaluate the invasion, metastasis and prognosis of gastric carcinoma.

[Abstract] Objective: To investigate the effect of lncRNA MAFG-AS1/ miR-11181-3p/GLG1 axis on cell migration, invasion and aerobic glycolysis of gastric cancer (GC) cells and its possible mechanism. Methods: AGS, a GC cell line with relatively high expression of MAFG-AS1, was selected as the study object. qPCR was used to detect RNA expression levels of MAFG-AS1, miR-11181-3p and GLG1. Transwell and glycolysis analysis were used to investigate cell migration, invasion and aerobic glycolysis. Bioinformatics analysis and Dual luciferase reporter gene assay were used to analyze the interaction among MAFG-AS1, miR-11181-3p and GLG1. Results: Knockdown of MAFG-AS1 significantly up-regulated miR-11181-3p and down-regulated GLG1 expression (both P<0.01), and significantly inhibited migration, invasion and aerobic glycolysis of GC cells (all P<0.01). Luciferase reporter gene assay confirmed that MAFG-AS1 competitively sponged miR-11181-3p (P<0.01). Inhibition of miR-11181-3p or overexpression of GLG1 partially reversed the inhibitory effect of MAFG-AS1 knockdown on GC cell migration, invasion, and aerobic glycolysis (all P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion: MAFG-AS1 promotes cell migration, invasion and aerobic glycolysis of GC cells via miR-11181-3p/GLG1 axis, and may be a potential molecular target for GC diagnosis and therapy.

In order to further consolidate the national essential medicine system and establish and improve the selection and adjustment mechanism of the national essential medicine list ,the Department of Drug Policy and Essential Medicine of the National Health Commission of the People ’s Republic of China recently has issued the Measures for the Administration of the National Essential Medicine List (Revised Draft ). Under the background that China is in a critical period of improving the management procedures for the adjustment of the essential medicines list ,how to better design the adjustment procedure ,clarify the operation process and material requirements of each link ,ensure social participation and improve work transparency are important problems to be solved. By consulting the official websites of World Health Organization (WHO)and some typical countries with essential medicine system as well as related foreign literature ,the advanced practices of WHO and some typical countries in the adjustment procedures of the essential medicine list were summarized from 6 stages, such as start-up stage ,the material collection and summary stage ,the evaluation stage ,result publicity stage ,relief stage and application and promotion stage. It is suggested that China can learn from the relevant successful international experience ,scientifically set the adjustment cycle ,establish a normalized feedback mechanism with multi-agent participation ,design a standardized material collection process and a scientific and efficient evaluation process ,and improve the transparency and social identity of the publicity of the selection results of essential medicines , so as to build a more scientific and perfect adjustment procedure of essential medicine list.
