Two new compounds Ⅰ and Ⅱ were isolated from Sparganium stoloniferum Buch. -Ham.. On the basis of chemical evidences and spectral analysis (UV,IR, 1H and 13CNMR,FAB-MS),the structure of l was elucidated as 5-ene-methyl-cholate-3-O-?-D-glucuronopyranosyl- (1→4 )-?-L-rhamnopyranoside,Ⅱ was 5-enemethyl-cholate- 3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside

Objective To observe the effect of intermedin on renal interstitial fibrosis of unilateral ureteral obstruction rats. Methods Forty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups:the sham-operation group (n=10) underwent the left ureteral dissection, the other 30 rats were made as unilateral ureteral obstruction models and divided into the model group (UUO),the losartan group, the IMD group (each group n=10).At the day 14,21 after operation, randomly 5 rats from each group were blooded by abdominal arotic and obstructive kidneys were taken out.The renal histopathological changes were observed by HE and Masson staining. The BUN,Scr,and hydroxyproline (Pro) of the obstructive kideys were measured by colorimetry. The expression of TGF-β1 and intermedin was observed by immunohistochemisty staining. Results Compared with the sham-operated group, the levels of BUN,Scr,Pro,TGF-β1 and IMD in the model group increased (P<0.05).Compared with the UUO group, the levels of Scr,BUN,Pro,TGF-β1 and IMD in the losartan group were lower (P<0.05).However,IMD in the IMD group was significantly up-regulated (P< 0.05),the others were down-regulated (P<0.05). Conclusion IMD can improve the renal interstitial fibrosis, and the mechanism maybe antagonizes the TGF-β1.

[Objective]To research the effect of acetic ether extract from T. ramosissima on the skin-wounded mice. [Methods]The acetic ether extract of T. ramosissima was administrated to skin-wounded mice by gavage methods. [Results] The experimental groups in different dosages had significant difference ,compared to the control group, with the areas of wound healing 17.68 mm2, 17.90 mm2, 20.18 mm2 and 31.48 mm2,after the acetic ether extract of T. ramosissima administration to skin-wounded mice by gavage methods. [Conclusions] It was suggested that the acetic ether extract of T. ramosissima had some protective effects on improving the wound healing.

Chinese Critical Care Medicine 2021;33(2):252-256
With the continuous improvement of treatment ability in intensive care unit (ICU), many critically ill and complex patients have survived due to the development of technology. However, most of them suffer from the psychological and physiological problems of post-intensive care syndrome (PICS). Therefore, the early identification and prevention of PICS is particularly critical. We should understand the pathophysiological mechanism of PICS, strictly implement ABCDEFG bundle management measures [including airway management (A), breath (B), reasonable analgesia and sedation treatment (C), prevention of delirium (D), early rehabilitation (E), family engagement (F), good communication (G)] during ICU hospitalization, and pay attention to reasonable nutritional support, optimizing blood glucose management, providing positive psychological intervention and support to patients through family members' encouragement and accompanying, ICU diary and other forms, following up the health status of patients transferred out/discharged from ICU, providing multi-disciplinary and professional continuing medical services, finding the entry point and timing of traditional Chinese medicine intervention, and giving full play to the advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment, which can improve the quality of life of patients. This article reviews the pathophysiological mechanism, risk factors, prevention and management measures, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and treatment of PICS, in order to improve the early identification, diagnosis and treatment of critical patients with PICS, and improve the prognosis of patients.

Objective To investigate the effects of seed sources and storage conditions on the seed germination rate of Valeriana officinalis. Methods The seeds of V. officinalis under different storage conditions were used as materials for germination test, and the germination rate was calculated and compared according to the results. Results The seed germination rate of valerians is varied with different sources. The seed germination rate of V. officinalis is higher than that of V. officinalis var. latifolia, and the seed germination rate of cultivated valeriana is much higher than that of the wild plant. The storage periods, storage temperature, and germination conditions also affect the germination rate. Conclusion To maintain the seed germination rate, the seed of V. officinalis should be stored in conditions with ventilation and at suitable low temperature. Lower temperature helps to prolong the seed life with relatively high germination rate. Valeriana seed should also be propagated at available temperature conditions in proper seasons.

Objective:To isolate endophytic fungi from Panax ginseng and study their antifungal and antitumor activities. Methods:Endophytic fungi were isolated from 5-year-old garden ginseng and 15-year-old transplanted ginseng. The antifungal active endophytes were screened with Pyricularia oryzae P-2b model using mircodilution method, and the activities of endophytes against pathogenic fungi were tested in vitro. The antitumor activities of the endophytes were examined by MTT method in vitro.Results:Sixteen(33.3%)of the 48 endophytic fungi fully suppressed the activity of P.oryzae P-2b;11(22.9%)colonies showed satisfactory antifungal activities against Candida albicans,Cryptococcus neoformans,Trichophyton rubrum, and Aspergillus fumigatus;and 5(10.4%)colonies showed satisfactory antitumor activities against tumor cell lines MKN45,LOVO,HepG2,and HL-60.Among the bioactive colonies,Yuan-25 showed best antifungal activity, with its MIC80 aganinst Trichophyton rubrum being 4 mg/L,which was similar to that of fluconazole.Yuan-27 showed the best antitumor activity, with its IC50 similar to that of doxorubicin. Conclusion:Isolated endophytic fungi of Panax ginseng has antifungal and antitumor activities and is worth further exploring.

Objective To study the correlation between the ADC value and Fenh value,Senh value based on DWI and DCE-MRI, by measuring them in sacroiliac joint bone marrow of healthy volunteers. Methods 21 healthy volunteers performing the sacroiliac joint MR were involved.ADC value based on DWI,and TIC based on DCE-MRI were measured. The relationship of ADC values with Fenh,Senh values and peak to time,Tmax values were analyzed. Results The differences of the measured ADC values on both sides of the sacroiliac joint bone marrow region were not statistically significant (P>0.05).There were three types of TIC curve,8.3% (7/84)Ⅰ type,8.3% (7/84)Ⅱ type,83.3% (70/84)Ⅲtype;Fenh,Senh average values were within 20%
