Objective: To discuss the essential aspects of per operation period nursing intervention in tooth extraction under electrocardiogram monitoring for the elderly patients, so as to improve the success rate of surgery. Methods:According to the physiology and psychology characteristics of the elderly patients, psychological intervention and correct cooperation were provided by nurse along with the electrocardiogram monitoring during the whole process. Results:Seven hundred and nineteen cases of elderly patients went through a smooth operation of tooth extraction under electrocardiogram monitoring. Conclusion: It is highly important that we combine professional medical team with tacit cooperation, appropriate psychological intervention as well as good management system to succeed in tooth extraction under electrocardiogram monitoring.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(14):-
Objective To explore the clinical value of respiratory index(RI) and oxygenation index(OI)dynamic monitoring in neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS) during mchanical ventilation. Methods According to prognosis,24 newborns with NRDS who had not be treated with pulmonary surfactant in NICU of Chengdu maternal and child health hospital from Dec.2006 to Nov.2007 were divided into 2 groups. There were 16 newborns in survival group and 8 newborns in death group. The changes of RI,OI,p(A-a)(O2) and pa(O2) were stu-died at 2,24,48 h after using of synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation and before ventilation weaning. Results In the early periods, there were significant differences in RI,OI and p(A-a)(O2) between the survival group and the death group(t=2.47,2.62,3.01 Pa

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(08):-
Objective To establish a simple and feasible method of preparing young erythrocytes and test some indexes of evaluating the mean cell age. Methods We collected 34 bags of whole blood from healthy blood donors,400ml/each bag, then eliminated WBCs by leukoreduction filter. After twice centrifuging and manual speration,we finally obtained young erythrocytes from the upper section of the red cell layer, the remains were old erythrocytes. These different age erythrocytes were separated by blood bags. Some indexes as pyruvate kinase, reticulocyte count, mean corpuscular volume(MCV),mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentraion(MCHC),erythrocytes deformation index EI were tested on the non-separation erythrocytes, young erythrocytes and old erythrocytes, simultaneouosly, the detecting hemoglobin recovery rate. Results There was significant difference of all indexes among the three kinds of erythrocyte products. The PK activity ratio of young erythrocytes' to non-preparating erythrocytes was 1 175?0 13,showed the mean cell age was about 40 days. The hemoglobin recovery rate was(48 37?3 82)%.Conclusions The method is effective for preparing young erythrocytes,PK,REI,MCV,MCHC and EI can be used to evaluate the young erythrocytes' mean cell age.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(04):-
PThirty-seven patients suffering from internal fixation failure in treating intertrochanteric fracture were selected from Department of Orthopaedics, First People’s Hospital of Chenzhou between July 2000 and March 2008, including 20 males and 17 females aged 74 years (range 63-84 years). All were treated by total hip replacement (THR) due to cutting damage of screws to femoral head, neck and acetabulum. The THR was performed 13-23 months from the first internal fixation. All patients had no severe cardiorespiratory dysfunction, local infection or other contraindication for replacement. Preoperative Harris scores were (40.0?12.2) points. Among all patients, 18 were treated by cemented THR, and the others by un-cemented. All 37 patients were followed up for average of 6.3 months. The average operative time was (81?13.6) minutes; the average amount of bleeding in operation was (662?51.8) mL. No infection, hypostatic pneumonia, pressing sore or deep venous embolism of lower limbs was found after replacement. Hip pain, weakness, limitation of motion did not occur during the follow-up period. In addition, no loosening or breaking of prosthesis was found on X-ray films, but the osteoporosis was gradually improved. The Harris scores were (83.0?12.4) postoperatively. The outcomes were excellent in 20 cases, good in 12 cases, fair in 4 cases, and poor in 1 case, and the rate of excellent and good was 86.49%. THR is an effective method for intertrochanteric fracture after internal fixation failure.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2010;26(1):11-13,27
Objective To analyze MRI manifestations of cerebral sparganosis and the diagnostic value of MRI.Methods MRI findings in 8 patients with proven cerebral sparganosis by pathological examination were reviewed. Results The lesions were hypointense on T1WI and hyperintense on T2WI with edema of brain around the lesions. Most of the lesions were markedly enhanced with ring-type,nodules,tortous beaded shape or tortuous linear like worm past-enhanced scans. The location and shape of the lesions in 3 cases were changed on followed-up MRI.Conclusion There are some specific pathological findings in cerebral sparganosis.MRI is of important clinical value in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of cerebral sparganosis.

Objective: To study Bacterial Endotoxins Test(BET) for Herbe Houttuyniae Injection. Methods: The interfering test for Herbe Houttuyniae Injection was carried out. Results: The test wasn't interfered when TAL(0.25EU/ml) was used and sample was diluted in a ratio of 1 to 4.Conclusions: The BET may replace the rabbit pyrogen test.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2010;37(3):138-141
Objective: To investigate the enhancive effect of TNF-α on transfection efficiency of adenovi-rus in mononuclear cells of mouse and the enhancive capability of protection of bone marrow by MDR1. Meth-ods: Before the mononuclear cells of mouse were infected by recombinant adenovirus encoding human MDR1 gene, they had been pretreated by TNF-α. Transfection efficiency of adenovirus was monitored by fluo-rescence microscopy, immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry (FCM). mRNA and protein levels of MDR1 in the mononuclear cells of mouse were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot before and after treatment of TNF-α. Results: After treatment of TNF-α, tansfection rates of adenovirus were obviously increased in the treated group (26.26%) compared with the untreated group (11.96%). mRNA levels and protein levels of MDR1 were obviously increased in the treated group compared with the untreated group. Conclusion: TNF-α could enhance transfection efficiency of adenovirus in mononu-clear cells of mouse and enhance capability of protection of bone marrow by MDR1.

Objective To investigate the role of the cough reflex sensitivity and airway neurogenic inflammation in the pathogenesis of cough post infectious(CPI).Methods Capsaicin provocation test and sputum inducing were performed in 10 patients with CPI(CPI group)and 10 healthy subjects(normal control group)to detect the cough reflex sensitivity and neurokinin of sputum.Total and differential cells count of induced sputum was performed.Substance P(SP),neurokinin A(NKA),neurokinin B(NKB)and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP)in the supernatant of induced sputum were measured. The expression of SP,neurokinin 1 receptor and NKA in sputum cells was detected. Results The cough threshold(lg C5)of CPI was significantly lower than normal(1.16?0.61 vs 2.64?0.28,P
