5.EVALUATION OF COLOR OF THINNER CERAMIC VENEER RESTORATION
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
This study was to evaluate the clinical application of thinner ceramic veneer restoration. Tooth color was measured by eye and colorimeter after thinner ceramic veneer restoration. The results showed that there were many factors influencing the color of its clinical restoration. Hue of the ceramic veneer, ceramic materials and bond composites had greater influence than that of dentition. The brightness of ceramic materials and bond composites was closely correlated with the whole restoration brightness. A closer correlation was found with the brightness of bond composite. Thinner ceramic veneer restoration can achive satisfactory results.
6.Analysis on antimicrobial resistance and distribution of Acinetobacter baumannii infection in our hospital
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(16):2197-2199
Objective To analyze the distribution characteristics and antimicrobial resistance of isolated Acinetobacter(A.)bau-mannii from the clinical inpatients in our hospital from 2008 to 2013 to provide the basis for rational use of antibacterial drugs in clinic. Methods The BD phoenix-100 fully automatic microbial analyzer(USA)was adopted to conduct the strain identification and the minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC)detection of clinically isolated A.baumannii.All obtained data were analyzed. Results 128,173,350,282,186 strains of A.baumannii in turn were isolated during these years, the strains in sampling from the clinically i-solated A.baumannii during 2012 was mainly originated from the sputum samples(155 strains,68.28%).In the distribution of hos-pital departments, most concentrated in ICU(65 strains,28.63%),followed by the respiratory department(47 strains,20.70%),the emergency observation wards(35 strains,15.42%)and the apoplexy and geriatric wards(24 strains,10.57%),the most of patients were older people aged more than 60 years. And according to the data within these 5 years, many kinds of different antibacterial drugs had generally the increased drug resistance rate, especially the increasing trend during 2011-2012 was more obvious, the pen-icillins all showed extensive drug-resistance.In the third, fourth generation cephalosporins, aminoglycosides and quinolones were generally drug-resistant.The drug resistance rate of cephalosporins(ceftazidime, cefotaxime, cefepime)remained at a higher level of 75.00%-85.00%.The drug resistance rate of quinolones(ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin)and aminoglycosides(gentamicin, amikacin) also showed the increasing trend year after year. The drug-resistant rate of the beta lactam compound preparations had the rapidly increasing speed, such as which of ampicillin /sulbactam was increased from 60.16% to 83.33%,which of carbapenems such as imipenem and meropenem was increased more significantly, the drug-resistant rate of imipenem was increased from 25.20% to 82.27%,and the detection rate was continually increased. And the drug resistant rate of Schupson was increased from 18.89% to 80%,but the only difference was the drug named Colistin(polymyxin E)maintained a low drug resistance rate during these five years. Conclusion Resistance of A.baumannii to various antibacterial drugs is gradually increased and the isolation rate of multi-drug-resistant and pan-drug resistant A.baumannii is increased year by year.So A.baumannii infection and its drug-resistance changes should be vigilant and be paid more attention to for preventing the emergence and spread of drug-resistant A.baumannii strains.

9. Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation followed by sequential infusion of donor-derived cytokine induced killer cells for relapsed/refractory hematologic malignancy: A preliminary study of 9 cases
Tumor 2012;32(7):546-550
Objective: To explore the efficacy and complications of allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (Allo-PBSCT) followed by sequential infusion of donor-derived cytokine induced killer (CIK) cells for relapsed/refractory hematologic malignancy. Methods: Nine patients with relapsed/ refractory hematologic malignancy without complete remission received Allo-PBSCT. After hematopoietic reconstitution, the donor-derived peripheral blood mononuclear cells were collected by blood cell separator and cultured into CIK cells in vitro . The CIK cells were infused back into the patients. The therapeutic efficacy, adverse reactions and prognosis were observed. Results: All patients engrafted. Complete remission was also achieved in all patients. After infusion of CIK cells, four patients developed graft-versus -host disease (GVHD) which was relieved by reinforced immunosuppression therapy. One patient died of infection 59 days after Allo-PBSCT, and the other 8 patients survived at a median followup of 9.2 months (2-20 months). Conclusion: Allo-PBSCT followed by sequential infusion of donor-derived CIK cells can salvage the patients with relapsed/refractory hematologic malignancy and it is worthy of further large-scale study. Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
AIM: To study the expressions and significance of stem cell factor(SCF) and tyrosine kinase receptor(KIT) in neurons after cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury.METHODS: Western blotting was used to examine the expression of SCF and KIT in the cortex after cerebral ischemia and oxygen glucose deprivation(OGD) neurons, then the OGD neurons preincubated with SCF and SCF-Ab were assessed the cell viability by MTT to determine its significance.RESULTS: ①Compared to control group, the expressions of M-SCF and S-SCF in cortex increased markedly while KIT decreased significantly in ipsilateral hemisphere. However,no obvious change in the contraleteral hemisphere was observed.②Compared to control group, the levels of S-SCF and M-SCF were increased significantly in the OGD neurons while KIT was not obvious changed.③The cell viability of OGD neurons decreased significantly.Preincubation with SCF inhibited cell damage while SCF-Ab deteriorated OGD injury.CONCLUSION: The expression of SCF may be induced by cerebral ischemia reperfusion, which can protect the neurons from ischemia injury.
