1.Research status on the effect of surface treatment of titanium & titanium alloy on bonding strength
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2009;32(4):244-246
Titanium & titanium alloy are popular in dentistry as dental material because of their good mechanical properties and extremely good biocompatibility. The bonding strength between the titanium and the resin agent is the decisive factor in evaluating the success of resin-bonded restoration. Appropriate surface treatment on the titanium is an effective way to reinforce the bending strength. The purpose of this review is to summarise the relevant studies and introduce some latest findings.

3.Quality and validity of randomized controlled trials in China from the perspective of systematic reviews.
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2011;9(7):697-701
A systematic review is based on randomized controlled trials (RCTs), and the reliability of its conclusion is closely related to the quality of original literature. The low quality of existing RCTs in China leads to the failure of conclusive findings in systematic reviews when evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. It is almost universal for systematic reviews to draw the conclusion that "further well-designed multicenter and large-scale RCTs are still required to confirm the beneficial effects of interventions". This paper analyzed the current status of RCTs in China, discussed the influence of including trials of low quality in a systematic review and assessed how a systematic review should be carried out under such circumstances. Furthermore, the methods to evaluate the quality of RCTs were introduced and evaluated. Finally, several strategies were proposed to improve the quality of RCTs in China: foster an honest academic and social environment, enhance the training of doctors on clinical research methodology, promote the implementation of clinical registration systems and strengthen the quality control of clinical research and the medical journals regulations on the quality of submitted papers.
4.The roles of hypoxia inducible factor-1 in apoptosis after cerebral ischemia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2012;20(4):315-320
Hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF-1) is an inportant regulatory factor in adapting to hypoxia in the hypoxic environment for cells. The changes of the numbers of HIF-1 in cells may regulate hypoxia-responsive gene transcription.HIF-1 may inhibit neuronal apoptosis and thus play a ncuroptotective role, and may also show a neurotoxic effect by inducing neuronal apoptosis.
5.Relationship between Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Gene Polymorphism and Serum Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Activity
Journal of Chinese Physician 2000;0(12):-
To study the relationship between angiotensin converting enzyme(ACE) gene polymorphism and angiotensin converting enzyme activity, the polymerase chain reaction(PCR) was used to detect an insertion/deletion(I/D) polymorphism of ACE gene in its sixteenth intron. The genotype, enzyme coupling spectrophotometry were used to measure serum ACE activity among the three genotypes. Results showed that the Serum ACE activities were (337 6?92 0),(292 7?76 5 )and(243 5?58 9)u/L for genotypes DD,ID and ⅠⅠ respectively. The findings indicate that the ACE gene polymorphism closely associated with serum ACE activity.
6.Role of Warburg effect in arsenic carcinogenesis: a recent advance
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2017;36(1):70-73
The glucose metabolism pathways including glycolysis and oxidative phosphorylation in vivo. The metabolism of tumor cells depends on glycolysis, which enhances the adaptability of tumor cells to the microenvironment and promotes the proliferation of tumor cells, which is called Warburg effect.Arsenic is one of the chemical pollutants, which is widely distributed in natural environment.International agency for research on cancer (IARC) has made it clear that arsenic and its compounds are carcinogens. However, the mechanism of carcinogenesis induced by arsenic still remains obscure.Recently, researchers have found that Warburg effect plays an important role in the process of arsenic carcinogenesis. In this paper,we have reviewed the definition and function of glycolysis, its relationship with inflammation and tumorigenesis, and the role of Warburg effect in arsenic carcinogenesis.
7.Effect of prescription Zhuyun-Ⅲ on Th1 and Th2-type cytokines, progesterone and ?-human chorionic gonadotropin in early pregnancy women of threatened abortion
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
Objective:To study the clinic effects of Prescription Zhuyun-Ⅲ(ZYⅢ) on early pregnancy women diagnosed as threatened abortion, and its mechanism in immunity and endocrine by determining the changes of serum Th1 and Th2-type cytokines, progesterone(P) and ?-human chorionic gonadotropin(?-HCG).Methods:The treatment group comprised of 30 early pregnancy women diagnosed as threateded abortion as well as deficiency syndrome of deficiency syndrome of Spleen or Kidney diagnosed by TCM,the control group consisted of 20 normal early pregnancy women at similar gestational age.The treatment group was administered with ZYⅢ for 4 weeks.Peripheral blood samples from the above two groups pre-and post-treatment were collected, serum Th1 type cytokine IL-2 and Th2 type cytokine IL-10 were determined by flow-cytometry.Serum P and ?-HCG were determined by ELISA.Results:①The serum IL-2 level and the ratio of IL-2/IL-10 in the treatment group before therapy were significantly higher than the control group(P
8.Clinical Analysis of Postoperative Complications of 96 Aged Patients with Cerebral Impairments
Journal of Chinese Physician 2000;0(11):-
Objective To sum up the precaution and treatment of the postoperative complications of the aged patients with cerebral impairments. Methods The clinical data of 96 aged patients with cerebral impairments were reviewed, 76 patients of which had postoperative complications. Results Among the 76 patients with postoperative complications, 24 cases died, and the death rate is 31 7%. 11 patients died of lung failure due to lung infection, 4 patients died of massive bleeding of upper digestive tract, 3 patients died of heart failure, 4 patients died of renal failure and the other 2 patients died of recurrent hematoma. Conclusions The postoperative death rate of the aged patients with acute cerebral impairment is fairly high, and the main death cause is postoperative complications, so we should treat this kind of patients in time and prevent the occurrence of complications.
9.Surface Modification Technologies of Quantum Dots Based Biosensors and Their Medical Applications
Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2014;(7):1061-1069
Quantum dots( QDs) as a new type of nanostructured luminescent materials have been widely used in biology, materials science, and physical optics. QD-based biosensors can rapidly and accurately detect biological macromolecules or inorganic molecules both in vivo and in vitro. The surface of QDs, prior to their biological detection applications, needed to be modified to enhance their fluorescence properties and lower their biological toxicity. Currently, the surface modification technologies mainly include polymer modification, thiol compounds modification, mercapto propionic acid compounds modification and organic groups modification. Various biosensors can be developed by adopting different modification techniques, which have been adopted to locate and track a variety of biological molecules in vivo. Although a large number of literatures have reported the biological applications of QD-based biosensors, rare systematic reviews of surface modification technologies on QDs have been witnessed. In this paper, we reviewed the surface modification technologies of QDs in biosensors and their medical applications.
