Objective To study the relationship among Alzheimer-like neuropathologic changes and their relationship with age and sex. Methods From January 1,1986 to April 1,2000,all autopsy caus of non-demented individuals ≥40 years of age in the General Hospital of PLA were examined for Alzheimer-like neuropathologic changes in hippocampus. There were 41 female and 97 male. Senile plaques(SP),neurofibrillary tangles(NFT) were identified with modified Palmgren-stain method. Hirano bodies(HB) or granulovacuolar degeneration(GVD) were identified with HE stain methods. Results About 40% patients had Alzheimer-like neuropathological changes in hippocampus. There was a highly significant correlation was found between the incidence and severity of SP?NFT?Hirano or GVD and patients' age in the CA1 field of the hippocampus, but no significant difference between male and female. There was a strong correlation among the prevalence and numerical densities of these four types of Alzheimer-like changes. Conclusions Alzheimer-like neuropathologic changes were mainly distributed in CA1 of hippocampus. In CA1 they had relationship with age, but no relationship with sex and they had correlation each other.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(12):-
Objective To assess excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) using the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) and to examine the main cause of EDS. Methods 96 consecutive PD patients and 98 age-matched healthy controls participated in the study. The severity of the disease was evaluated by Hoehn and Yahr stage (H&Y) and Unified Parkinson's disease Rating Scale-Ⅲ (UPDRS-Ⅲ), and information of anti-PD medications was collected. The correlations among EDS and age, severity of PD, PQSI score, duration of illness and medications were analyzed. Results The mean ESS score was 6.05 (S.D.3.83) in PD patients and 4.24 (S.D.3.21) in controls (P

Objective To observe the image characteristics ofmultispectral scanning laser imaging (MSLI) and OCT in patients with pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome (PIHS).Methods A total of 112 patients (224 eyes) of PIHS patients diagnosed in Obstetrics Department of Tianjin First Central Hospital from May 2016 to May 2017 were included in this study. The average age of the patients was 27.00±2.14 years. The average course of the disease was 15.00 ±8.27 days. There were 174 eyes in 87 patients of blurred vision, dazzling and visual fatigue consciously. All patients performed BCVA,direct ophthalmoscope,B ultrasound, confocal scanning laser Ophthalmoscope (cSLO) and spectral-domain OCT (SD-OCT).SD-OCT was performed with Spectralis HRA+OCT from Heidelberg Company in Germany to acquire tomographic images.Using Herdelberg's colorful program (MultiColor) based on cSLO and operating in accordance with standard methods, one scan simultaneously obtained blue light reflection based on 488 nm,green light reflection based on 515 nm,and infrared reflection based on 820 nm,synthesis to MSLI.Fundus abnormalities were classified into arterial spasm (stage Ⅰ),arteriosclerosis (stage Ⅱ),and retinopathy (stage Ⅲ).OCT examination was divided into normal and abnormal cases according to the abnormality of retinal morphology and thickness. Results Of the 224 eyes,68 eyes (30.36%) showed normal fundus examination and 156 eyes (69.64%) showed abnormal fundus performance.Among them,28 eyes were stage Ⅰ (17.95%);40 eyes were stage Ⅱ (25.64%);88 eyes were stage Ⅲ (56.41%).Thirty-six eyes (16.07%) showed normal fundus and 188 eyes (83.93%) showed abnormal performance with OCT.Of the 188 eyes with abnormal fundus performance,86 eyes (45.74%) had retinal neuroepithelial serous detachment;56 eyes (29.79%) had RPE detachment;optic disc edema, bulge, and local reflexes in the retinal nerve fiber layer were enhanced and/or the thickness increased in 46 eyes (24.47%).In MSLI,48 eyes (21.43%) showed normal fundus;176 eyes (78.57%) showed abnormal performance.Retinal edema was showed in green on MSLI,serous retinal neuroepithelial layer detachment,RPE layer detachment, retinal nerve fiber layer thickening, accompanied by changes in local retinal structure. The higher the degree of bulge, the darker the color.Consistent with the range of retinal edema revealed by SD-OCT.Conclusions MSLI and SD-OCT images show highly consistent lesions in PIHS patients.MSLI can more clearly show superficial and deep retinal lesions.

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury is a common sports injury that has a significant impact on knee function and patients′ mobility. With the popularity of national fitness campaign in China, the incidence of ACL injury is increasing year by year. Currently, there still lacks clinical standards or guidelines on how to choose appropriate treatment methods, surgical plans and rehabilitation protocols for ACL injury. In order to timely reflect the new treatment concept of ACL injury, standardize its diagnosis and treatment and improve the curative effect, the Sports Medicine Society of Chinese Research Hospital Association and the Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Trauma organized domestic orthopedic and sports medicine experts to formulate the "clinical evidence-based guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of anterior cruciate ligament injury (2022 version)" based on the level of evidence-based medicine and in compliance with the principle of scientificity, practicability and advancement. The present guideline includes 12 recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of ACL injury in order to provide guidance and assistance for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of ACL injury in China.

Objective To investigate the health status, functional ability, mental psychology, health care and other longevity-related characteristics of individuals aged ≥ 100 years as well as risk factors in Hainan province,China. Methods China Hainan Centenarian Cohort Study (CHCCS) is a community-based,prospective cohort study to establish multi-dimensional database consisting of questionnaire findings, anthropometric parameters and biological specimens as well as imaging features. With the household registration information provided by the Department of Civil Affairs of Hainan province,a baseline survey was conducted in centenarians in 18 counties in Hainan with the oldest old in 5 counties as controls between 2014 and 2017.The survey included face to face interview, physical examination and biological specimen collection. After the baseline survey, the participants of CHCCS were followed up at an interval of 2 years to collect the information about their living status, disease status or major death causes. Results According to the information provided by the Department of Civil Affairs of Hainan province in 2014,the survey found that 1 473 centenarians were still living.By December 2016,1 002 of them had agreed to be surveyed. The average age of 722 centenarians with complete information in the baseline survey was (102.7± 2.7) years, the majority of them were females (83.0%),widows (88.8%),in Han ethnic group (84.5%),lived with family members (87.8%),illiterates (89.7%) and farmers (81.0%).Conclusion CHCCS has provided longevity-related information of the large longevity population and collected the valuable and rare biological specimens with great urgency to establish an interdisciplinary platform and base for longevity, senility and healthy aging research.
