Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(08):-
Objective To explore the clinic effects in duplication blepharoplasty with the multiple tiny inci- sions. Methods The line of drooping blepharon was set in routine in 183 patients, the incisions with 3~4mm long would be made in middle and the both canthi sides on the line, cutting 1.5~2mm long flaps of the muscle orbicularis oculi off in the down rim of the incisions.Excessive fats also released form the orbital septum in patients with swelling blepharon. Then put up the muscle tendon of blepharon and sutured with the slcin on the up rim of tarsal plate. Results The reaction of tissue after operation was very light, swelling in the incision could disappear after 7~23 days and the incision scars weretiny and unclear, tbe double-fold eyelids had a good appearance in long time.Con- clusion It is an effective and usable procedure to the patients without skin loosening or serious swelling blepharon by means of multiple tiny incisions in blepharoplasty.

Objective To explore the coping strategies of patients with superficial bladder carcinoma and analyze the influential factors.Method The medical coping modes questionnaire(MCMQ)was used to do the investigation among 146 patients with superficial bladder carcinoma. Results Among the coping strategies, the scores on the factors of facing, avoidance and yielding were 2.42±0.45,2.00±0.45 and 1.52±0.50,respectively.The operative method, education level, sex and stages of chemotherapy were the main factors influencing the coping strategies. Conclusions For the postoperative patients with superficial bladder carcinoma, the coping strategies were influenced by different factors. Therefore, nursing staff should attach their highlights on patients' coping strategies and instruct the patients with active coping strategies based on the their traits.

The assay investigated mainly the adhesion phenomenon of heat killed Bifidoba cterium adolescentis DM8504 to human colorectal carcinoma cell line CCL 22 9 Moreover, the assay discussed the adhesion mechanism of Bifidobacterium Resu lts found heat killed bifidobacterium would be the same ability to adhere and c o lonize to human intestinal epithelial cells in vitro as live bifidobacterium, an d their adhesion had to depend on its spent culture supernatant(SCS) The adh esin of Bifidobacterium adolescentis was possibly lipoteichoic acid(LTA)w h ich existed on the cell wall of bacteria and was secreted into the SCS LTA bou nd to the heat resistant proteins of cell surface of bacteria, and extended out from the cell surface Moreover, the bifidobacterial adhesin rece ptor of intestinal epithelial cells was possibly saccharides or glycopolymers

Objective To investigated the expression of intracellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1)in mouse to rat cardiac xenograft and the effects of leflunomide and cyclosporine. Methods NIH mice and Wistar rats served as donors and recipients respectively.Mouse to rat heterotopic heart transplantation was performed(in the neck). The experiments were divided into 4 groups:CsA group, leflunomide(Lef)group,CsA+Lef group, control group. It was the time of rejection that no pulsation could be detected in the transplanted heart. The expression of ICAM-1 protein in cardiac xenograft tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot in each group. Results The survival time of cardiac xenograft in control group,CsA group,Lef group and CsA+Lef group was (2.17?0.41),(2.50?1.05),(4.17?1.33)and(6.50?2.56)days respectively. The expression of ICAM-1 protein(IOD)in cardiac xenograft tissue in control group,CsA group,Lef group and CsA+ Lef group was 155.40?5.33,150.73?5.13,104.65?6.15 and 29.24?2.76 respectively.Conclu- sion The expression of ICAM-1 protein was strong in mouse to rat cardiac xenograft. The combined use of Lef and CsA can significantly suppress the expression of ICAM-1 protein in the cardiac xenograft.

New process reported the synthesis of telavancin using decyl alcohol as the starting material. After methanesulfonylation, nucleophilic substitution with ethanolamine,Fmoc protection, and Parikh-Doering oxidation, the intermdiate N-(9-fluorenyl-9-methoxycarbonyl) decylaminoethyl acetaldehyde (5) was obtained.Vancomycin hydrochloride and intermediate 5 were then subject to reductive amination reaction,Fmoc deprotection, and Mannich reaction to give the telavancin product. The process have been deeply studied on the two key reactions of reductive amination and Mannich reaction, and the reaction conditions have been optimized. The overall yield is 46% based on starting material vancomycin.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2002;26(6):402-406
In this paper, the question about automatic brightness control for x-ray imaging systems based on CCD camera is discussed, and the structure and principle of an auto brightness control loop are analyzed along with the working procedure of the x-ray imaging system. A kind of digital brightness controller about a typical device and the designing idea of the computer brightness intelligent control software is introduced.

Objective To know about recent experience of the quality control of blood clotting,to analyze the reasons for its out-of-control,and then to explore the influencing factors of coagulation tests. Methods According to the testing standards of coagula-tion quality control products of Clinical Laboratory Center,Ministry of Health, each batch of products were taken standardized tests. The external quality control results of blood clotting from 2009 to 2013 were analyzed and counted up combined with the in-ternal quality control and daily work performance. Results The overall performance of external quality control was good (from 2009 to 2013).The total scores in 2009 were 90%,95%,were 100% and 100% in 2010,were 95% and 95% in 2011,were 100%and 85% in 2012,and were 100% and 100% in 2013.Conclusion Laboratory internal quality control should be guaranteed. The quality control of pre-analysis,post and analysis and analysis-in-course can improve clinical coagulation testing quality.

West China Journal of Stomatology 2003;21(1):36-38
OBJECTIVEThe aim of this study was to evaluate quantitatively the effectiveness and feasibility of the modified supracrestal fiberotomy (MSF) and the contact point reproximation (CPR) in decreasing the relapse of anterior segments rotating and/or crowding after orthodontic treatment.
METHODSA total of 129 patients with crowding and/or rotated anterior teeth were selected for this study, and the average age was 13.07 years (54 males, 75 females). The modified supracrestal fiberotomy was performed on the anterior segments of patients in the experimental group (48 cases). After the anterior teeth were aligned, 23 of the 48 cases received a further treatment of the contact point reproximation on the anterior segments (the subgroup of MSF + CPR), and the other 25 subjects did not receive this treatment (the subgroup of MSF). The control group consisted of 81 cases. All cases wore Hawley retainers for 1.8 to 2.3 years, and all the patients were revisited 2.4 years postretention. The maxillary and mandibular dental models of all the patients were taken before treatment (T1), at the end of the treatment (T2) and 2.4 years postretention (T3).
RESULTSThe relapse rate in the experimental group [(T3-T2)/T1 x 100%] was 21.6%, lower than that in the control group (P < 0.001). The relapse rate of mandible in the subgroup of MSF + CPR was 6.56% lower than that of the subgroup of MSF (P < 0.05). But the relapse rate of maxillary in the subgroups of MSF + CPR was similar as that of the subgroup of MSF (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe modified supracrestal fiberotomy can effectively alleviate relapse after orthodontic treatment of the crowding and/or rotation of anterior teeth. The treatment combining MSF and CPR can help maintain the stability of post-retention of mandibular anterior teeth.
