OBJECTIVE:To work out the optimal inventory levels in zero inventory management mode through model predic-tion and control strategy,by using the inventory upper & lower limits settings generally available in the information management system of health care institutions. METHODS:Multi-varieties joint ordering modelwas constructed by referring to operations management, time series analysis and quantitative approach to decision-making,that is,to make a prediction of upper&lower lim-its on medicine inventory based on historical data and applicable mathematical models(fixed order interval model and re-order mod-el,i.e. FOI and ROP),and compared with real results;based on above, specific medicine procurement and inventory control strat-egies would be developed and an evaluation of the application effects would be made. RESULTS:The error test and reproducibility test exhibited that the out-of-stock ratio remained under 3.36%,of which 71.24% could be effectively alarmed;under computer simulation and practical operation, the instant replenishment rate reduced by 9.33% and 13.03%,OOS ratio down by 11.11% and 27.45%,and average daily inventory turnover rate up by 30.19% and 15.85% respectively, all showing remarkable improvements compared to before the implementation of the mode. CONCLUSIONS:This model is of favorable accuracy and operability,there-fore it can lay foundation for rational and well-founded decisions in medicine procurement and inventory control in zero inventory management mode.

Objective: To discuss the applied effect of high frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with cognitive intervention for stroke patients with aphasia. Methods: 84 stroke patients with aphasia were divided into observation group (42 cases)and control group (42 cases). Patients of control group were treated by routine intervention of language training, while patients of observation group were treated by high frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with cognitive intervention. A series of evaluated indicators, such as the language function score of Boston diagnostic aphasia examination(BDAE), the anxiety symptom score of Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA), the quality of life and degree of satisfaction, were adopted to compare the post-treatment effect for the two groups. Results: After the treatment, there were statistical significance in the difference of understanding, retelling ability, reading ability and writing ability about BDAE scores between the two groups (t=3.572, t=4.482, t=6.238, t=3.013; P<0.05), and the HAMA scores of observation group was significant higher than those of control group (t=3.472, P<0.05). Besides, through different interventions, the series of indicators about quality of life, such as physical function, mental function, social function and material function, of observation group were higher than those of control group (t=4.513, t=3.923, t=4.473, t=4.033; P<0.05). And the satisfaction of observation group was significant higher than that of control group (x2=5.233, P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical effect of high frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with cognitive intervention for stroke patients with aphasia is favorable. And this method can increase quality of life and satisfaction for patients, and can extremely reduce medical dispute and improve the therapeutic level of hospital for stroke patients with aphasia.

Objective To evaluate treatment outcomes and quality of life (QOL) in glioma patients treated with postoperative intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), and to explore the possible clinical factors of affecting QOL. Methods From 2007 to 2009, 37 patients with low or high grade glioma were analyzed retrospectively. All patients were operated by tumor resection below microscopy. IMRT began at 2-4 week postoperstion with 2.0 Gy/fractior, 5 fractions/week and to shrink portal and to add dose to 50-60 Gy/25-30 fractions after 40-50 Gy. The gross tumor volume (GTV) was defined as preoperation T2WI MRI high sign area and postoperation tumor cavity for low grade glioma, and with preoperation T1WI MRI enhanced abnormity area and postoperation tumor cavity for high grade glioma. The clinical target volume ( CTV ) was defined as GTV with a margin of 1.5 cm for low grade glioma and a margin of 2.5 cm for high grade ghoma, the planning target volume (PTV) with CTV plus 0.4 cm margin for setup errors according to the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer ( EORTC ).The treatment outcomes and QOL were assessed. Results The half-year and one-year survival rates for all the patients were 100% and 79.2%, respectively. The median progression-free survival time was 10 months. The main side-responses after postoperative IMRT were fatigue and mild memory decline or cognitive disabilities, which were radiation dose-dependent. Conclusions Postoperative IMRT is an effective and safe modality of therapy for glioma patients.
