AIM: To establish a method of determing prim-o-glucasylcimifugin,5-o-methylvisammiosode,gardenoside quantitatively in Huoxiang Gingwei Granules(Herba Pogostemonis,Fructus Gardeniae,Radix Saposhnikoviae,etc.). METHODS: Three components were determined by HPLC in the same chromatographic condition(Column: Shimadzu VP-ODS 250 mm?4.60 mm,5 ?m;mobile phase: acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid gradient elution;flow rate: 1.0 mL/min: column temperature: at 30 ℃). RESULTS: Prim-o-glucasylcimifugin showed a good linear relationship at the range of 26.0-390 ng,r=(0.999 9),the average recovery was 101.7% and RSD was 1.1%.5-o-methylvisammiosode showed a good linear relationship at the range of 21.5-322.2 ng,r=(0.999 9),the average recovery was 101.9% and RSD was 1.1%.Gardenoside showed a good linear relationship at the range of 47.1-706.5 ng,r=(0.999 9),the average recovery was 101.6% and RSD was 1.1%.(CONCLUSION):() The established method can provide the content determination of 3 ingriedents at the same test condition and be used for the quality control of Huoxiang Qingwei Granules.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2002;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate MRI in diagnosis and follow-up of Achilles tendon rupture. Methods From April 2003 to May 2005, 24 cases of closed Achilles tendon rupture were examined in our department with MRI. It was performed through sagittal T1WI, T2WI, GE-STIR and axial TME imaging. Four cases were followed up with MRI after 4 to 8 weeks. Results MRI could determinate the severity and exact location of Achilles tendon rupture by demonstrating signal changes of Achilles tendon. In this series, complete rupture of Achilles tendon mostly occurred at the median part, with augmentation and high signal on T2WI. MRI demonstrated high signal on T2WI in partial rupture of Achilles tendon. The signal intensity in the four cases followed up by MRI was shown to decrease. Conclusion MRI is a valuable tool for clinical diagnosis and follow-up of Achilles tendon, because it provides enough information through signal changes at the tendon.

China Pharmacist 2016;19(10):1872-1875
Objective:To optimize the clarification process of total flavonoids extract from Geum aleppicum with ZTC1+1-Ⅱtype clarifying agent. Methods:With the solid removal rate, retention rate of the total flavonoids and clearance rate of protein as the indi-ces, single factor tests were adopted to study the effects of extract concentration, amount of clarifying agent, reaction temperature and reaction time on the clarification results. Results:The optimal clarification process was as follows:the extract concentration was 0. 5 g ·ml-1 , the amount of clarifying agent was 4% component B and 2% component A, the reaction temperature was at 60℃, and the soaking time was 60 min. The retention rate of total flavonoids was 91. 32%, the clearance rate of protein was 35. 82%, and the solid removal rate was 8. 1%. Conclusion:ZTC1+1-Ⅱ type clarifying agent has good effect on the clarification of total flavonoids extract from Geum aleppicum with promising feasibility and stability.

Objective To investigate the effect of pidotimod granules combined with Yupingfeng granules in the treatment of children with recurrent respiratory infection. Methods A total of 124 patients in the treatment of children′s immunologic function with recurrent respiratory infection were taken into this research.124 patients were divided into OBG(63 patients)group and COG(61 patients)group according to random number table and treated with pidotimod granules and Yupingfeng granules.Statistics of children′s treatment in the two groups were collected and analyzed after research. Results In OBG group, there were 33 excellent cases,28 effective cases,2 void cases, and the treatment efficiency was 96.83%,which were better than those in COG group(χ2 =8.796,9.054,8.931,9.135, all P <0.05).In OBG group, the extinction time of fever, moist rale, expectoration and chest pain were significantly shorter than those in COG group(t =8.562,9.025,8.747,8.637,all P <0.05).The differences between the two groups after treatment in IMF were statistically significant (all P <0.05 ).Conclusion Pidotimod granules and Yupingfeng granules has perfect effect in the treatment of children′s immunologic function with recurrent respiratory infection, which is worthy of promotion.

Objective:To investigate the role of anaphylatoxin C 5 a in patients with asthma .Methods:A prospective study was performed between September 2006 and February 2007.A total of 33 patients with acute exacerbation of asthma and 13 healthy subjects were recruited into the study .The patients with acute exacerbation of asthma were also studied when they returned to the remission state .Levels of lung function, levels of C5a in induced sputum and cell differential count in induced sputum were determined . Results:The level of C5 a in induced sputum was significantly higher in patients with acute exacerbation of asthma [0.85(0.68-2.13) μg/L] than that in patients with stable asthma [0.45(0.26-0.88)μg/L, Z=-2.193, P=0.013];Sputum C5a levels in stable asthma patients were significantly higher than those in healthy controls [0.14(0.06-0.45) μg/L, Z=-2.141, P=0.015].The level of C5a in patients with severe exacerbation [2.21(1.27 -9.0) μg/L] was significantly higher than those in patients with mild exacerbation [0.34(0.17-0.63) μg/L] and moderate exacerbation [0.85(0.55-1.67) μg/L,χ2 =12.330, P=0.001].The level of C5a in induced sputum was positively correlated with the number of total cells count (r=0.797, P=0.004), neutrophils (r=0.504, P=0.032) and macrophages ( r =0.424, P=0.036 ) in acute exacerbation of asthma .Conclusion: C5a levels in induced sputum could be identified as an important prognostic biomarker , which involved in asthma ’ s pathogenesis .

Objective To explore the significance of changes of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9),interleukin-6 (IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-oα) protein level in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of children with viral encephalitis (VE).Methods The concentration of neuron-specific enolase (NSE),structural proteins 100B (S100B),and MMP-9,IL-6,TNF-α in the CSF of VE children were detected by an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, and the correlations of them were analyzed. Results NSE,S100B,MMP-9,IL-6,TNF-α protein expression could be found significantly higher than those in the control group, and there were significant differences according to statistics expression trends(all P <0.05).The NSE protein expression was significantly positive related with S100B in the VE group (r =0.467,P =0.009),and the concentration was markedly negative related with the duration of viral encephalitis (r =-0.472,P =0.008).MMP-9,IL-6 protein expression were significantly positive related with NSE,S100B respectively (r =0.698,P =0.00 ; r =0.559,P =0.00 ; r =0.812,P =0.00 ; r =0.664,P =0.00).TNF-α protein expression was positive related with CSF S100B(r =0.363,P =0.049),but there was no correlation between TNF-α and NSE (r =0.245,P =0.193).Conclusions The neurons and the neuroglial cells are damaged in the viral encephalitis children.MMP-9,IL-6,TNF-α protein may participate in the pathological damage process of nerve cells in VE children in different degrees.
