Objective To observe the effect of Zishen prescription on the learning and memory abilities and activities of CHE and MAO in nerve tissues of the AD rats,and discuss the anti-AD effects of Zishen prescription.Methods The subacute aging rat models were made by injecting D-galactose;and then both sides of NBM were damaged with IA according to the brain stereotaxic atlas of rats.The learning and memory abilities were determined by ″Y″ maze;and the activities of CHE and MAO in the hippocampus of rats were tested by spectrophotometer.Results Compared with the results of AD control group,the treatment of Zishen prescription significantly decreased the number of electric stimuli(61.00?11.01 vs 43.70?11.02,P
2.Chemoembolization with MMC-Iipiodol or ADM-lipiodol mixture for the treatment of bronchogenic carcinoma

Objective To study the clinical value of transbronchial arterial chemoembolization with MMC-li piodol or ADM-lipiodol mixture in the treatment of lung cancer.Methods In this study 32 cases with lung cancer,bronchial arteriography were adopted to identify the tumor-feeding branch.After perfusing 500~1000mg 5-Fu and 60 ~80mg CDDP through microcatheter,embolization with the mixture of 3 ~10ml lipiodol and 20mg MMC or 40mg ADM was performed.Results Short-term effectiveness;complete response(CR)was achieved in 1 case,while partial response(PR)in 19 cases,steady disease(SD)in 11 cases and process disease(PD)in 1 case.The total effectiverate (CR plus PR)was up to 62.5%(20/32).Complications included S cases of the chest pain and 2 cases of the chest wall epidermis pain,which were relieved after symptomatic management.1 case produced spinal injury,which was partially recovered after symptomatic management.Conclusion Transbronchial arterial chemoembolization with MMC-li piodol or ADM-lipiodol mixture has good short-term effect in the treatment of lung cancer.The procedure should be carried out carefully to avoid severe complications.
4.Treatment of Intrauterine Growth Retardation with Magnesium Sulfate

Objective To study the relationship between magnesium level in umbilical vein and mother′s peripheral blood with intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR) and fetal weight. Methods 39 pregnant women with IUGR were randomly divided into 3 groups: Group 1 (n= 14): The patients were treated with 10% glucose 500 ml + danshen compound 14 ml + low molecular weight dextran 500 ml iv; Group 2 (n= 14): in addition to the same treatment as in group 1, 25% magnesium sulfate 20 ml in 5% glucose 500 ml iv was given; Group 3 (n= 11): no treatment was given; and another 12 normal term delivery women were served as control. Magnesium concentration levels were determined in both maternal peripheral blood and their fetal umbilical vein. 5.Effect of ionizing radiation on bone marrow derived c-kit+ cells in vitro

Objective To observe the injury effect of ionizing radiation on bone marrow derived c-kit+ cells.Methods Via-bility of c-kit+ cells was measured by bioluminescence;the level of c-kit+ cells reactive oxygen species was measured by DCFH-DA, the ability of colony-forming units was reflected by CFU-GM;proliferation and apoptosis of c-kit+ cells were measured by flow cy-tometry;the variation of pathway was detected by arrays of gene chip.Results Compared to control group(0 Gy).It had a decrease of c-kit+ cells′cell viability and the ability of colony-forming units after the cells receipt irradiation with the dose of 1 Gy and 4 Gy;and the level of cell reactive oxygen species,ratio of apoptosis cells increased.After 1 Gy irradiation exposure,the ratio of prolifera-tion(S/G2/M phase)cells increased compared to control group.However,when the c-kit+ cells were receipt 4 Gy irradiation expo-sure,the ratio of proliferation(S/G2/M phase)cells decreased.After 4 Gy irradiation exposure,the up-regulate genes contained Srxn1,Psmb5,Cdkn1a,Smc1b,Bcl2l1,Lrdd and so on;the down-regulate genes contained Mpo,Mtf1,Chek1,Rcc1 Ebag9,Ciapin1 and so on.Conclusion There was injury effect of ionizing radiation on c-kit+ cells,and it could induce variation of many pathways.
6.The safety of hydroxychloroquine in pregnant patients with systemic lupus erythematosus

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of hydroxychloroquine(HCQ) in pregnant patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Methods Twenty-four pregnant patients with SLE treated with HCQ during pregnancy from May,2006 to February,2011 were studied retrospectively.All babies were followed up during early infancy for growth development.ResultsOf them,22 patients were treated with HCQ throughout the whole pregnancy with no lupus flare occurred in 21 patients (95.4%),while temporary discontinuation of HCQ precipitated a flare of disease in two patients.Three patients ( 12.5% ) had premature delivery,and pregnancy induced hypertension happened in 3 patients (12.5% ).No congenital abnormalities occurred and mean follow-up of 26 months ( range 1 - 47 months) revealed no abnormalities in these children.Conclusion Our findings reinforce the safety of HCQ therapy during pregancy and HCQ should probably be maintained throughout the pregancy in patients with SLE.
7.Association between mitochondrial uncoupling protein 2 gene promoter -866G>A polymorphism and ischemic stroke in diabetic patients

Objective To investigate the association of uncoupling protein 2 ( UCP-2 ) gene promoter -866G>A polymorphism and ischemic stroke in diabetic patients.Methods A total of 844 type 2 diabetic patients including 404 cases with ischemic stroke and 440 cases without ischemic stroke were selected for the 4 year prospective study,Genomic DNA was extracted from the whole blood samples of subjects,UCP-2 gene promoter -866G > A polymorphism was detected by TaqMan MGB probe method,and then the genotype and allele gene frequencies were compared.Results The risk of ischemic stroke in type 2 diabetic female patients with AA+GA genotypes of UCP-2 was higher than that with GG genotype (P<0.05),but there was no difference among male patients with three genotypes.Conclusions UCP-2 gene promoter -866G > A polymorphism increases the risk of ischemic stroke in Chinese diabetic women.
8.Analysis of features on prolonged central serous chorioretinopathy by optical coherent tomography

AlM:To investigate the features on prolonged central serous chorioretinopathy ( CSCR ) by optical coherent tomography ( OCT ) and to provide the basis of deciding the pathogenetic condition and prognosis. METHODS: Eighty - five patients who had been diagnosed with CSCR were grouped by suffering time as below: 32 patients suffered longer than 6mo as the prolonged and 53 patients with CSCR cured within that time. The imaging features of OCT were compared between the above groups.RESULTS:The incidence rate of neuroepithelial serous detachment extent above 500μm associated with pigmentary epithelial detachment in suffering eye and pigmentary epithelial damage in contralateral eye was significantly different between two groups. However, the incidence rate of neuroepithelial serous detachment extent above 4 000μm was not significant difference.CONCLUSlON:OCT could display clearly the change of every layer of retina with simplicity and visibility, which supplies us a new horizon to diagnose and trace CSCR. We could decide the pathogenetic condition and prognosis in accordance with the features of OCT, to provide references for the diagnosis and treatment of CSCR.

Objective:To construct Interleukin 21 (IL 21) expression plasimd pCDNA3.1 IL21 and express it in Hela cell and analysis its acitivity of costimilating T cell proliferation with anti CD3 monoclonal antibody in vitro.Methods:The CDs of IL 21 was amplified by PCR using the pMD IL21 as templet.The expression plasimd pCDNA3.1 IL21 was constructed by inserting the sequence of coding region of the IL 21 into pCDNA3.1/Hismyc B containing CMV promoter and transfected into Hela cells.The stability expression stain was screened by the condition media containing 400 mg/L G418 and cloned through the limited dilution method.The target protein was purified through Ni 2+ chelating Sepharose Fast Flow.The bioactivity was confirmed by MTT method on costimulating the T cell proliferation with anti CD3.SDS PAGE and Western blot analysis the rhIL 21 expressed.Results:hIL 21 was expressed in Hela cell successfully.SDS PAGE analysis showed the IL 21 fusion protein with Mr 18 000 or so was expressed in supernatant of the cells.The rhIL 21 has significant proliferation effect on mature human T cells in the presence of anti CD3 monoantibody.Conclusion:The rhIL 21 with bioactivity has been obtained,which may help researcher study its new function and effects. 10.Correlation between expression of platelet membrane glycoproteins and hyperviscosity syndrome

Objective:To study the relationship between hyperviscosity syndrome(HVS) and platelet membrane glycoproteins(GP) sub group changes.Methods: CD62P,CD63,CD31 and CD41 were measured by flow cytometry(FCM). The hemorrheoloic parameters of HVS patients were compared with those of normal aged group and normal young group.Results:(1)The CD62P,CD63 and CD31 of aged and young HVS patients before therapy were obviously higher than those of the normal aged group and normal young group.(2)Combined measurement could improve the detecting positive rate of HVS patients up to 92% 100%, with the sensitivity being 95.3%.(3)Bamyl decreased CD62P,CD63 and CD31,which was obviously correlated with ?b and ?p. Conclusion:The alteration of platelet membrane GP positive expression may be a parameter for early diagnosis and clinical outcome observation.
