Protective effects of acupuncture on myocardial ischemia in each stage have been confirmed increasingly, while there was no in-depth research in terms of histone modifications. Histone modification is an important part of epigenetics. It is also the focus of molecular biology and basic medical research. In this paper, the relationship of histone modifications and gene expression of heart was first explained. Then, the recent research progress of modified histones, which was the direct alteration of gene expression induced by histone modifications on the degree and prognosis of myocardial ischemic injury, was reviewed. This investigation introduced epigenetic regulation in the protection mechanism of myocardial ischemia by acupuncture. It provided new ideas and directions for the study of molecular mechanism of acupuncture efficacy.

Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2003;0(05):-
Objective To observe the clinical features of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) in Chinese patients. Methods Nine cases (9 eyes) were examined with fundus examination, fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and indocyanine green angiography angiography (ICGA). Results FFA and ICGA showed the branching vascular networks (7 cases) and polyplike dilation at terminals of branches (9 cases), which mainly located in macular area (8 cases) and in peripapillary area (1 case), and which accompanied hemorrhagic or serous pigment epithelial detachment in 7 cases, and 4 of 7 cases had a significant horizontal black-white damarcation line. It definitely differed from fine choroidal neo-vascularization (CNV). Conclusion PCV in Chinese patients has the cardinal clinical features, i.e., polyplike lesions located mainly in macular area and most cases accompanied by hemorrhagic or serous pigment epithelium detachment.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(11):-
Three cases of Pick's disease diagnosed by clinical observation, MRI, SPECT, PET and pathology were analysed. Compared with Alzheimer′s disease, Pick's disease consisted of the following features: ①The changes in personality, judgement, affection and emotion, Kl?ver Bucy syndrome, progressive non fluent aphasia, and the defect of semantic memory were prominent in the early stage, but the disturbance of cognition and visuospatial ability were relatively late. ②Marked cerebral atrophy in the temporal pole was showed in MRI. ③Hypoperfusion and hypometabolism could be found in the frontal and / or temporal cortexes on SPECT or PET scans. It is important to understand the salient features for early diagnosis of Pick's disease in clinic.

ObjectiveTo observe effect of estradiol on respiratory of ovariectomized rats.Methods30 adult female rats were randomly divided into ovariectomy group (group A), estradiol group (group B) and sham ovariectomy group (group C). Rats of group B were injected with 17-β estradiol (20μg/kg/d), that of group A and group C were injected only with normal saline (0.1ml/d). After 6 weeks, effect of estradiol on respiratory of ovariectomized rats was assessed with testing level of rats' serum estradiol and discharge frequency and integrated amplitude of phrenic nerve. ResultsThe level of serum estradiol of group A was significantly decreased compared with group B and group C (P<0.01). Discharge frequency and integrated amplitude of phrenic nerve of group A were decreased compared with group B and group C (P<0.05).ConclusionEstradiol can excite respiratory responses in ovariectomized rats.

Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2014;30(1):4-7
OBJECTIVETo explore the working mechanism and age-related change of the conflict processing system of the frontal cortex.
METHODSFifteen normal elderly people and 15 youth were performed a modified Eriksen flanker paradigm, while event-related potential (ERPs), which include 32 systerm electroencephalography, reaction time and correct rate were recorded.
RESULTSThe elderly group showed a distinct effect of reaction time and effect of conflict in the respond level compared with the youth group. The elderly group had a longer time window of N380 and same amplitude as the youth group. Low resolution brain electromagnetic tomography (LORETA) showed the bilateral temporal lobe and the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (especially right) were activated in the youth group, while the left temporal lobe, the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and left medial frontal gyrus were activated in the elderly group.
CONCLUSIONWhen conflict stimuli existed in the response level, old people showed frontal interference control hypofunction. N380 reflected the activation of the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and the left temporal lobe during response selection and executive control processing in older people.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2012;21(3):247-249
Objective To find out a health behaviors about the community-dwelling older people with different risk of osteoporotic fractures, and to provide the interventions basis for high risk population. Methods By fracture risk assessment tool(FRAX).Stratified sampling method was used.Data were collected by face-to-face interviews with questionnaires in 450 people aged 60 years and over who come from the three communities. Results By the statistical test, the scores of behavior between high and low risk older people had statistical significance(P<0.01 ).The scores of high risk of osteoporotic fractures behavior in older people were 30.59 ± 4.67,which rate was 56.6%.There were 86 people who scored 33 and over, pass rate was only 37.2% ; The behavior scores of low risk of osteoporotic fractures older people were 32.01 ± 4.49,which rate was 59.3%.There were 102 people who scored 33 and over, pass rate was only 46.6%.The one way ANOVA found that theeducation level were main factors for low risk of osteoporotic fractures elderly people in prevention behavior.By the multiple liner stepwise regression, gender and monthly income were main factors for high risk of osteoporotic fractures elderly people in prevention behavior. Conclusion Focus on those older people who have the low-income,male group in high risk of osteoporotic fractures to improving health behavior intervention, which include those in low risk of osteoporotic fractures but have low level of education.

Objective To enhance the level of the diagnosis and treatment of relapsing polychondritis(RP).Methods Clinical data of 17 patients of RP were studied retrospectively. Results Of the patients, ear was involved in 16 cases, nose in 10 cases, laryngotracheobronchial region in 9 cases, eyes in 8 cases, joints in 4 cases, cardiovascular system in 1 case.Of 17 cases-1 died from respiratory complications. Fifteen patients had recurrence over twice,1 patient had sixth recurrence. Conclusions RP is rare autoimmune system disease, early clinical manifestation are nontypical, misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis. Corticosteroids, immunosuppressive agents, dapsone and surgical operation are used in these patients to control symptoms.

OBJECTIVETo construct microRNA-223 overexpression and suppression lentivirus vectors and determine their effects after infecting oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) cell line.
METHODSLentivirus vectors GV229 and GV232 were cut by the restriction sites of Age I and EcoR I and connected to the target gene, which contained mature microRNA-223 and microRNA-223 oligonucleotide. Real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method was used to detect the microRNA-223 expression level after infecting the recombinant lentivirus vector into the OSCC cell line.
RESULTSThe successful construction of microRNA-223 recombinant lentivirus vectors was confirmed by the PCR method and DNA sequencing. HN-30 cell infected with microRNA-223 overexpression vector showed a significant increased in microRNA-223 expression, whereas HN-30 cell infected with microRNA-223 inhibitor vector suppressed microRNA-223 expression.
CONCLUSIONThe microRNA-223 overexpression and suppression lentivirus vectors are successfully constructed. These vectors could alter the expression level of microRNA-223 in OSCC cell line significantly, and provide a stable cell line for functional studies in the future.
