Five hundred elderly patients with ischemic stroke admitted from January 2008 to December 2010 were enrolled in the study, including 352 recurrent cases and 148 primary cases. There was a positive correlation of stroke recurrence with age, blood pressure, blood glucose and lipid levels, smoking and alcohol consumption of patients(P <0.05 ); while the stroke recurrence was negatively correlated with physical exercise(P < 0.05).Stepwise multiple regression analysis indicated that the blood pressure, blood glucose and lipid levels were risk factors for the recurrence of ischemic stroke in elderly patients.
2.MedDRA and its applications in statistical analysis of adverse events.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(11):1396-1401
Safety assessment in clinical trials is dependent on an in-depth analysis of the adverse events to a great extent. However, there are difficulties in summary classification, data management and statistical analysis of the adverse events because of the different expressions on the same adverse events caused by regional, linguistic, ethnic, cultural and other differences. In order to ensure the normative expressions, it's necessary to standardize the terms in recording the adverse events. MedDRA (medical dictionary for regulatory activities) has been widely recommended and applied in the world as a powerful support for the adverse events reporting in clinical trials. In this paper, the development history, applicable scope, hierarchy structure, encoding term selection and standardized query strategies of the MedDRA is introduced. Furthermore, the practical process of adverse events encoding with MedDRA is proposed. Finally, the framework of statistical analysis about adverse events is discussed.

China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(10):-
The inheritance of prestigious TCM doctors' experiences is not only important for improving the level of health protection and developing the academic level of TCM in our country, but also an urgent research topic that need to be worked on. In this paper, the contents and methods of research on the inheritance of prestigious TCM doctors' experiences are discussed. There are three main research issues: the clinical experiences, the academic thoughts, and the ethics of prestigious TCM doctors. And when doing research on the methods, these problems should be paid attention to: study prestigious TCM doctors' clinical experiences, academic thoughts and ethics at the same time; start the research with trying to find a doctor's own character by comparison; understand the origin and development of a doctor's academic thought from the culture background; pay attention to the process of making tacit knowledge explicit; do more researches on the evaluation, promotion and application of prestigious TCM doctors' experiences based on EBM (evidence-based medicine).

OBJECTIVE To provide scientific basis for the control of hospital infection, and then the effects of nursing quality control were evaluated. METHODS There was significant difference in many targets of hospital infection. RESULTS The nursing quality control was strengthened by the following measures. The administration of hospital infection net be established, the environmental sanitation and sterilization in the medical matter be supervised, and the rules and regulations be enforced in the normal works of nursing against hospital infection. CONCLUSIONS Nursing quality control is very important in the control of hospital infection.

Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2010;19(4):355-357
ObjectiveTo study the efficacy of using multileaf collimators with different position and different degree in the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) using intensity-modulated radiotherapy techniques. Methods Ten patients withNPC were administered andanalyzed.Thepenumbra characteristics, dose of target, and radiation conformal indexes (CI) of mode T1 and mode T2 were measured and compared using dose volume histogram generated by Varian Eclipse three-dimensional planning computer system. Mode T1 :The angles of seven coplanar beams were 0°, 52°, 106°, 160°, 212°, 258°and 308°,respectively. There were no restriction on the position and degree of multileaf collimators. Parameters were set and optimized. Mode T2 :The beam angles and the parameters were as same as mode T1. According to the actual situations, the position and the degree of the multileaf collimators were changed. Then thedose optimization was performed. Results Target dose coverage in both mode T1 and T2 could be clinically accepted, and the CI were 0. 82 and 0. 83(t = -0. 25, P =0. 815). The maximum dose reductions in the lens, eyes, optic nerves and corneas were 28. 7% (t = 4. 80, P = 0. 000), 2. 7% (t = 2. 99, P = 0. 021),1.4%(t= 1.05,P=0.032), and 30.5% (t=2.99,P=0. 020), respectively. However, the mean dose and V35 of the parotid were increased by 0. 6% (t = - 2. 82, P = 0. 043) and 9.9% (t = - 2. 05, P =0. 038). ConclusionsOpimization of multileaf collimators can reduce the scattering and leaking rays. Compared with mode T1 ,controlling the position and degree of multileaf collimators could reduce the radiation dose to the eyes and optic-nerves, especially to the lens.

Objective To explore the related risk factors of injuries caused by non-motor vehicle crashes in Hefei,Anhui Province. Methods From June 2009 to June 2011,the wounded from nonmotor vehicle crashes in Hefei were admitted to our hospital. The data of the wounded were collected to perform hypothesis test to screen out the related risk factors, which were then analyzed with multiple-factor non-conditional Logistic regression analysis. Results A total of 205 cases who were wounded in the non-motor vehicle crashes were admitted to our hospital from June 2009 to June 2011.Among all the cases,146 cases were wounded in electric bicycle crashes and 59 cases in bicycle crashes. There were 147cases (71.7%) of mild to moderate injuries ( ISS ≤ 15 ),and 58 cases (28.3%) of severe injuries (ISS > 15 ) including six deaths (2.9%).Single factor of different categories of the hypothesis test suggested that age, category, driving behavior, crash model, impact type, vehicle type were all related with the severity of injuries caused by non-motor vehicle crashes in Hefei. The multiple-factor non-conditional Logistic regression analysis showed four risk factors for the injury severity in non-motor vehicle crashes in Hefei,ie,vehicle type, crash model, violations of rules and regulations as well as age, according to the degree of correlation. Conclusion With the study of non-motor vehicle crashes in Hefei, primary identification of the risk factors for the traffic injuries is obtained, which provides scientific basis for the decrease of casualty and establishment of intervention measures.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2011;10(6):420-422
Epidemiological, clinical, laboratory and treatment data, as well as outcomes of 66patients diagnosed as brucellosis during 1984 to 2010 in Peking Union Medical College Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Thirty-four (51.5%) patients had a history of close contact with sheep or cows infected with brucellosis, eight (12. 1% ) had eaten not-fully-boiled or roasted mutton, three (4. 5% ) had drunk or contacted with contaminated milk, and transmission route was unknown in 21 (31.8%). The most common manifestations were fever ( 97.0%, 64/66 ), loss of appetite and fatigue ( 93. 9%, 62/66 ),sweating (47.0%, 31/66), myalgia and arthralgia (54. 5%, 34/66 ), hepatomegaly (27.3%, 18/66),splenomegaly (37.9%, 25/66), increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) (62. 1%, 41/66), and elevated C-reactive protein (65.4%, 34/52). Average interval from onset to diagnosis was 19. 2 weeks. All 66 patients were positive in serum agglutination test for BruceUa, and 28 (42. 4% ) positive in blood or bone marrow culture for Brucella. Sixty-five of 66 patients were treated by standard combined treatment with rifampicin, quinolone, minocycline and streptomycin, with all effective, and only four with mild liver damage in treatment who got better after discontinuing medicines and changing treatment regimen.
