Infectious disease is a major public health problem threatening human health and social development, and infectious disease teaching is an important part of public health education. However, traditional infectious disease teaching faces challenges such as overly theoretical and fragmented content, overly traditional and monotonous methods, and a narrow and isolated vision, which makes it difficult to adapt to the current complex and changing situation of infectious disease prevention and control. The “One Health” concept emphasizes interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, and cross-regional communication and cooperation to achieve the harmonious unity of health for humans, animals, and the environment, which is significant in preventing and controlling infectious diseases. This paper proposes some ideas for reforming infectious disease teaching based on the One Health concept, which aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of infectious disease teaching by recognizing the close connection between human health, animal health, and environmental health. Specifically, it is suggested to reform the teaching in four aspects: introducing the basic concepts, principles, and practices of One Health, increasing the content of infectious diseases related to One Health, adopting diversified and interactive teaching methods, and establishing cross-disciplinary teaching cooperation. Concrete recommendations are provided for each aspect. This paper argues that reforming infectious disease teaching based on the One Health concept is conducive to cultivating public health talents with global vision, systems thinking, and cross-disciplinary collaboration capabilities, providing robust talent support for coping with emerging, re-emerging, and endemic infectious disease threats.

ObjectiveTo explore the effects of recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)on myocardial inflammatory cytokine expression and heart function in rats with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). MethodsRats with AMI induced by left anterior descending coronary branch ligation were randomized to rhGH and control groups compared with sham-operated group. The effects of 4 weeks of therapy with GH starting 24 hours after myocardial infarction on myocardial cytokines expression and heart function were studied. Myocardial inflammation was examined by analyzing the myocardial cytokine production including the pro-inflammatory cytokines: interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and the anti-inflammatory cytokine: IL-10. Echocardiography was used to evaluate heart function. ResultsThe levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-10 in the infarcted and non-infarcted region of control group were markedly elevated compared to sham-operated group (all P<0.05). After 4 weeks therapy, rhGH reduced the expression of TNF -α, IL-1β, IL-6 and increased IL-10 expression in the infarcted and non-infarcted region of rhGH group compared to control group (all P<0. 05 ). Echocardiography showed that rhGH markedly improved left heart function (P<0. 05 ). ConclusionsEarly rhGH treatment can improve heart function and myocardial inflammatory cytokine expression after AMI. One of immunopharmacologic mechanisms underlying the beneficial effects of rhGH on heart function improvement may involve the attenuation of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the increase of anti-inflammatory cytokine levels in cardiac myocytes.

Objective To investigate the relationship between nasal colonization of Staphylococcus aureus(SA) and nosocomial infection in intensive care unit(ICU), and observe the therapeutic effect of Anerdian III in nasal decolonizaion. Methods Bacterial cultures were made by means of nasal swabs among inpatients whom the occurrence of nosocomial infection were observed.Patients with SA colonization were randomly divided into two groups:control and treatment.Control group were given regular treatment, and treatment group were administered Anerdian III in addition to regular treatment. Then the clearance rate of SA and the occurrence of nosocomial infection of two groups were observed. Results A total of 751 patients were enrolled, of whom 108(14.4%) were with nosocomial infection and 85(11.3%) with SA nasal colonization. Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus ( MRSA ) was detected in 33 patients (4.4%).The nosocomial infection rate of patients with MRSA colonization was 51.5%, which was significantly higher than those in patients with other bacterial colonization(P<0.05).The SA clearance rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group(81.4% vs.42.8%,P<0.05).The nosocomial infection rate in treatment group was significantly lower than that in control group ( 16 .3% vs. 40.5%,P <0.05).After decolonization treatment, the nosocomial infection rate of patients with MRSA colonization was significantly lower than that in control group(25.0% vs.76.5%,P <0.05). Conclusion The incidence rate of nosocomial infection in patients with MRSA nasal colonization is markedly increased in ICU, and the decolonization treatment by Anerdian III increases the clearance rate of nasal SA and decreases the incidence rate of nosocomial infection.

OBJECTIVETo determine the expressions of miR-155, miR-34a and miR-30a in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and to explore their potential correlation with clinicopathological characteristics.
METHODSThe expression level of miR-155, miR-34a and miR-30a in 46 DLBCL samples were determined with TaqMan real-time polymerase chain reaction. Interphase fluorescence in situ hybridization (I-FISH) was performed to detect MYC and p53 genes' status, and immunohistochemistry (Envision method) was used to evaluate the expression of CD3, CD10, CD20, BCL-6 and MUM-1 in DLBCL. The DLBCLs were classified into germinal center B cell-like (GCB) and non germinal center B cell-like (non-GCB) subtypes according to Hans' criteria.
RESULTSCompared with normal controls, miR-155 expression level was significantly higher in DLBCL. The expression level of miR-155 in non-GCB type was higher than that in GCB type. It was shown that the patients with MYC rearrangement had lower expression level of miR-155 than the negative controls. Compared with p53 normal group, the expression level of miR-34a was significantly lower in p53 deletion group. It was also shown that the patients with BCL-6 protein expression had lower expression of miR-30a compared with the negative group.
CONCLUSIONmiR-155 expression level is different in normal controls, DLBCL and patients with subtype DLBCL. It therefore has a diagnosis value for DLBCL. miR-34a is of great prognostic significance. miR-155, miR-34a and miR-30a may be potential therapy targets for DLBCL.

Objective To study the feasibility and clinical values of diffusion tensor tractography (DTT)in the spinal cord at 3.0 T MR.Methods Forty patients with spinal cord compression including cervical cord herniation and cervical spondylosis(30 cases),tumors in spinal canal(9 cases)and old injury in cervical vertebrae(1 cases)and 20 healthy volunteers participated in this study.Single-shot spin- echo echo-planar diffusion tensor sequence for tractography of the spinal cord was performed. The fibers of spinal cord were visualized by using fiber tracking software. Results On the DTT maps, the normal spinal cord was depicted as a fiber tract showing color-encoded cephaloeaudally, which indicated anisotropy in the cephalocaudal direction.By setting two ROI,the main spinal cord fiber tracts, such as corticospinal or spinothalamic tract, were visualized. The tracts from two sides of the brain did not completely cross. It was asymmetric in the number of tracts on the two sides in most normal subjects(8/10).The tracts of all patients with cord compression were seen oppressed or damaged in different degrees. The DrrT in patients with cervical spondylosis and extramedullary-intradural neurolemmoma demonstrated that tracts were oppressed but not damaged. The DTT in one ependymoma showed that tract was markedly compressed and slightly damaged. Conclusion DTT is a promising tool for demonstrating the spinal cord tracts and abnormalities, can provide useful information for the localization of compression and evaluation of the impairment extent on the white matter tracts of the spinal cord.

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD)(EC 1.15.1.1)is a metalloenzyme that is found in almost all organisms and catalyzes the dismutation of superoxide anion radical to hydrogen peroxide and molecular oxygen. Three unique and highly compartmentalized mammalian SOD have been biochemically and molecularly characterized to date: Cu, Zn superoxide dismutase (CuZnSOD, SOD1), MnSOD (Manganese Superoxide Dismutase, SOD2)and EC-SOD (Extracellular Superoxide Dismutase, SOD3). Cu, Zn superoxide dismutase (CuZnSOD, SOD1)is a copper and zinc-containing homodimer that is found almost exclusively in intracellular cytoplasmic spaces. CuZnSOD is widely distributed and comprises about 90% of the total SOD. Cytoplasmic and periplasmic SOD exists as dimers, whereas chloroplastic and extracellular enzymes exist as tetramers. Structure supports independent functional evolution in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. CuZnSOD are thought to protect the brain, lungs, and other tissues from oxidative stress. This paper reviewed the gene, molecular and chemical structure and biological function of CuZnSOD.

Objective:
To analyze serum HBV-RNA levels in patients with chronic hepatitis B whose serum HBV-DNA has dropped to undetected levels after treatment with entecavir, and to explore the correlation between HBV-RNA level and liver biochemical parameters, which lay the research foundation for the clinical significance of new serological marker HBV-RNA.
Methods:
HBeAg negatively detected 107 cases with chronic hepatitis B whose serum HBV-DNA test results were lower than detection level for six consecutive months after receiving standard nucleoside therapy for more than 12 months were included. HBV-RNA level was detected by Perkin-Elmer reagent. HBV-DNA level was detected by Roche Cobas. Hitachi automatic biochemical analyzer was used to detect ALT and AST. Architect chemiluminescence analyzer was used to detect HBsAg, HBeAg, anti-HBe and anti-HBc. RStudio software was performed to analyze the correlation between HBV-RNA level and liver biochemical parameters. Logistic regression was used to analyze the independent factors influencing HBV-RNA level.
Results:
The positive detection rate of serum HBV-RNA in patients with chronic hepatitis B whose serum HBV-DNA had dropped to undetected levels after ETV treatment was 22.43%. HBsAg, ALT and AST levels in HBV-RNA positive group were slightly higher than HBV-RNA negative group, while anti-HBc levels were slightly higher in HBV-RNA negative group. There was no difference in the level of anti-HBe between the HBV-RNA negative and the positive group. Logistic regression analysis showed that anti-HBc was an independent factor influencing the level of HBV-RNA detection (
