Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(08):-
AIM: To study the discrepancy and it's significance of ATP binding cassette transporter(ABC1) and CD36 mRNA expression while activate nuclear receptor RRAR?,LXR?,RXR? in THP-1 cells. METHODS: Cultured THP-1 cells were induced to become macrophage by PMA at concentration of 40 ?g/L for 48 hours. Troglitazone, 22(R)-hydrocholesterol and 9-cis-retinoid acid(9-CRA),activators for PPAR?,LXR? and RXR? respectively, were incubated with the macrophage for 24 hours. Total RNA of these cells were abstracted and reverse transcriptional polymerase chain reaction were performed to inspect the expression of ABC1 and CD36 mRNA in the cells. RESULTS: Expression of ABC1 mRNA increased in the presence of troglitazone, 22(R)-HC and 9-CRA. CD36 mRNA also increased while PPAR? activated. Activation of LXR? showed almost no effect on CD36 mRNA expression, and expression of CD36 mRNA was decreased by 9-CRA.CONCLUSION: The discrepancies existing in ABC1 and CD36 mRNA expression while activate nuclear receptors PPAR?,LXR?,RXR? in THP-1 cells implyed that LXR?,RXR? were better targets to deal with to improve cholesterol reverse transportation.
2.Research progress on antibiotic resistance of Escherichia coli O157:H7
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(11):1117-1121
Contamination of foodborne pathogens is the main cause of related diseases. Escherichia coli O157:H7 (E.coli O157:H7), as a representative of pathogenic E.coli, is one of the most severe and commonly reported E.coli in the world, but there is still no effective clinical treatment against the infection. Antibiotics show effective in the early infection of E.coli O157:H7. However, their extensive use has led to drug-resistant bacteria and genes in recent years, which becomes a great threat to public health. This article reviews the research progress of E.coli O157:H7 from the prevalence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, the resistance mechanism, and the prevention and control methods, in order to provide a reference for its prevention, early clinical treatment and related research.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(02):-
To evaluate the clinical application of defecography in irritable bowel syndrome, 14 cases of diarrhoea predominant IBS, 12 cases of constipation predominant IBS and 10 cases of mixed patterns underwent defecography. Thirteen cases showed abnormal IBS (36 11%). The abnormal X ray features of anorectal angle and pelvic floor descent included rectocele, rectal mucosal prolapse, splanchnoptosis, perineum descent and spastic pelvic floor syndrome. Defecography is valuable in the diagnosis and treatment of irritable bowel syndrome

OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of recombinant human endostatin(rh-endostatin)com-bined with CT-guided percutaneous microwave ablation in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)complicat-ed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). METHODS:A total of 80 cases of NSCLC complicated with COPD were selected from our hospital during Feb. 2014-Feb. 2016,and then divided into control group and observation group according to random number table, with 40 cases in each group. Control group was treated by CT-guided percutane-ous microwave ablation. Observation group was additionally given rh-endostatin injection 7.5 mg/m2,once a day,d1-14, added into 500 mL 0.9% sodium chloride injection, ivgtt lasting for 4 h,for consecutive 14 d,on the basis of control group;7 d later, next course was performed. A treatment course lasted for 21 d,and they received 4 courses of treat-ment. Survival time, clinical efficacy as well as KPS score and lung function indexes before and after treatment, the oc-currence of ADR were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Median survival time of observation group(19.8 months) was significantly longer than that of control group(15.2 months),and total response rate of observation group(72.5%) was significantly higher than that of control group (55.0%),with statistical significance (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in KPS score,FEV1,FEV1/FVC or DLCO between 2 groups(P>0.05). After treat-ment,KPS score and above lung function indexes levels of 2 groups were increased significantly, and those of observa-tion group were significantly higher than those of control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). No grade Ⅳwas found in 2 groups. There was no statistical significance in the cases of ADR at different levels between 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:rh-endostatin combined with CT-guided percutaneous microwave ablation in the treatment of NSCLC complicated with COPD show good clinical efficacy with less ADR,and can significantly improve lung function and quality of life.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(10):-
Objective To study the effects of nitric oxide (NO) synthesis on serum interleukin 1? (IL-1?) and tumor necrosis factor ? (TNF-?) levels in liver ischemic preconditioning (IP) in rats. Methods 169 rats were randomly divided into ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) group, IP group,L-arginine plus IP (L-Arg+IP) group and sham operation group (S group). The concentrations of plasma NO, serum IL-1? and TNF-? were measured at 2h, 24h and 1 week after models were set up. Results ⑴ Plasma NO concentrations: In group IP and group L-Arg+IP,the NO concentration at all the 3 time points were significantly higher than those in group S (P0 05). Conclusions Liver ischemic preconditioning could down-regulate the levels of blood IL-1? and TNF-?, which may relate to the increase of NO synthesis. The increase of NO synthesis could enlarge this down-regulation effect, and further enhance the protective effect of IP on the liver I/R injury.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(09):-
Objective To explore the diagnosis and surgical management experience of appendiceal carcinoid. Methods The clinical data of 32 patients with appendiceal carcinoid from 1978 to 1998 were retrospectively analyzed. Results 26 patients (26/32, 81 25%) manifested the sign and symptom of appendicitis, and 6 patients (6/32, 18 75%) with carcinoid were incidentally discovered. The tumors were less than 1cm in diameter in 25 patients, between 1 and 2 cm in 4 patients, and larger than 2 cm in 3 patients. Tumor invasion was confined to the appendix in 29 patients, involved in the mesoappendix in 2 patients, and one patient had local lymphonodus metastasis. Three carcinoid patients with tumor lymph-nodes metastasis in the mesoappendix underwent secondary right hemicolectomy, 2 patients underwent appendicocecostomy, and 27 patients underwent appendectomy. The follow-up was performed in 28 patients, and all patients remained free of tumor recurrence and metastasis. Conclusion Appendiceal carcinoid was rare, and most of the patients manifested the sign and symptom of appendicitis. Appendiceal carcinoid of less than 1 cm diameter could be adequately managed by appendectomy alone. Appendiceal carcinoid in basis of the appendix could be adequately managed by appendicocecostomy. The treatment approach for tumors of 1 to 2 cm in diameter was still controversial. The right hemicolectomy should be performed in the patients with larger than 2 cm in diameter tumors.
