2.The ASP .NET-based Hospital Integrated Query System for Graphic Reports

The paper elaborates the utilization status of the graphic reports system in hospitals, proposes that ASP .NET technology should be applied to realize the web-based hospital integrated query system for graphic reports, analyzes the advantages of applying ASP .NET technology and introduces the concrete realization of the integrated query system.This system solves the problem that graphic reports are unable to be queried simultaneously, resulting from differences between various internal reporting systems in hospitals.
3.Pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic studies in anestheticdrug-drug interactions——a response surface model with remifentanil and sevoflurane for Chinese adult patients

AIM: To determine the interactions with response-surface modeling methodologies when sevoflurane (Sevo) and remifentanil (Remi) were administered simultaneously. METHODS: (1) Patients, Study design and drug delivery: Based on parallel slices design, sixty-five patients were randomly assigned to inhale a specific end-tidal concentration of sevoflurane (0.3% to 3.4%), with different level of remifentanil (0-10 ng/mL). The responses to laryngoscopy were observed for each given concentration pair. (2) Pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic analysis with response surface mode: The probability of no response (P) was assessed in the modeling process as below. P=(Us+Ur)r/[U50/I(Q)]r+(Us+Ur)r RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: NONMEM estimated average values (RSE%) of the model parameters for laryngoscopy of C50,Sevo, C50,remi, U50, r, Imax and Qmax are 1.71% (12.9), 12.4 ng/mL (19.0), 6.62 (10.6), 1.53 (8.76), 2.31 (8.23), 0.706 (2.46), respectively. The inter-individual variability (CV%) in parameter Imax and inter-occasion variability (S.D.) in this model are 12.7 and 0.0316, respectively. It is concluded that the response-surface modeling approach provided a novel method to study drug-drug interactions.
4.An Evaluation of the Performance of Remifentanil Target-Controlled Infusion System Under Inhalation and Intravenous Anesthesia

Objective To evaluate the performance of the remifentanil target-controlled infusion(TCI) system(Minto model) during laparoscopic surgery under inhalation and intravenous anesthesia.Methods A total of 15 patients scheduled for laparoscopic surgery received remifenanil by TCI,and the anesthesia was maintained with inhalation of isoflurane and intermittent intravenous vecuronium.The target remifentanil plasma concentration(Cp) was increased step by step,with the concentration changed at intervals of 30 minutes.The beginning Cp was 3 ng/ml,then increased to 6 ng/ml,9 ng/ml.Blood samples were taken from radial arterial before anesthesia induction and 30 minutes after adjustment of Cp to determine the concentration of remifentanil using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC/MS/MS).The performance of the TCI system was evaluated by median performance error(MDPE),median absolute performance error(MDAPE) and wobble.Results The MDPE,MDAPE and wobble of the remifentanil TCI system were 8.78%,16.11% and 14.55%,respectively.The measured concentrations of remifentanil were positively correlated with Cp(r=0.891,P=0.000).The linear equation was Y∧ =1.1046X+0.1837.Conclusions The remifentanil TCI system with Minto pharmacokinetic model can meet the requirements of clinical anestehesia for Chinese patients within clinical treating concentration.
5.Study of Poria in different parts and different localities

AIM: The contents of pachymic acid in Poria in different parts and in different localities were measured and compared. METHODS: 9 samples were measured with HPLC. RESULTS: The content of pachymic acid in Fushen is the highest in different parts and the content of pachymic acid in Guangxi province is the highest in five localities. CONCLUSION: The content of pachymic acid was obviously variable in different parts and this result made the basis of the application of with the different parts of Poria. The content of pachymic acid wasn't obviously variable in different localities.
6.Cytotoxicity of a new type of antibiotic stainless micro-screw implant

BACKGROUND: Prevention of implant from inflammation was an effective method to reduce expulsion rate of stainless steel micro-screw implant, and develop new type of antibiotic material.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the cytotoxicity of a new type of antibiotic stainless steels.METHODS: Metal test samples (antibiotic stainless steel, medical stainless steel, and medial pure titanium) were made into rectangular solids with length of 15 mm × 10 mm × 3 mm. Samples were cleaned with high temperature and high pressure. Alloy leaching liquor was prepared with DMEM culture media according to the ratio betwean surface area and volume of culture solution (3 cm~2/mL). The leaching liquor was maintained in incubator at 37 ℃ for 96 hours, and then degerming was performed using microporous membrane. 6.4% phenol was added, which was considered as the positive control group, and DMEM culture media was considered as the blank control group. Growth of MG63 cells was observed under inverted phase contrast microscope;absorbanca of cells cultured for 24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours was detected using MTT test; cytotoxicity of antibiotic stainless steels was evaluated.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: ① At 24 hours after culture, calls in the positive control group was abnormal; while, cells in other groups were well adherent-grew. ② After 48 hours of culture, with the culture time increased,cytotoxicity was detected out in the positive control group; cells in other groups and blank control groups were normal and grew well. Afew of cells in stainless steels group showed karyopyknosis. ③ The absorbance was the highest of medical pure titanium, and then of antibiotic stainless steel and of medical stainless steel, while there was no significant difference between the three materials. ④ The level of cytotoxicity was grade 0. The results suggested that the antibiotic stainless steel which had the same cytotoxicity grade as medical stainless steel and pure titanium was in line with the requirement of its clinical application.

8.Clinical Efficacy of Xinhuang Tablets Combined with Azithromycin Granules and Adapalene Gel in the Treatment of Acne Vulgaris

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of Xinhuang tablets combined with Azithromycin granules and 0.1% Adapalene gel in the treatment of acne vulgaris.METHODS:216 patients with acne vulgaris were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to visiting order (n=108).Experimental group were treated with oral administration of Xinhuang tablets and Azithromycin granules and 0.1% Adapalene gel for external use.Control group were treated with Erythromycin enteric-coated tablets and Compound sulfur lotion.Clinical efficacies of 2 groups were observed after 6 weeks.RESULTS:Total effective rate was 97.2% for experimental group and 41.6% for control group.There was significant difference between 2 groups (P
9.Effects of dopamine alone or dopamine plus norepinephrine on hemodynamics, tissue oxygenation and renal function during orthotopic liver transplantation

Objective To evaluate the effects of dopamine (DA) alone or DA plus norepinephrine (NE) on hemodynamics, tissue oxygenation, acid-base balance and renal function during orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT).Methods Thirty ASA IE or IV patients undergoing OLT were randomly divided into 2 groups of 15 patients each. In group A DA was continuously infused during operation. The initial infusion rate was 1-3 ?g?kg-1 ?min-1 . The rate was then adjusted to MAP between 60-80 mmHg. While in group B DA and NE were continuously infused. The initial infusion rate of DA was 1-3 (?g?kg-1?min-1 and that of NE 0.03 ?g?kg-1?min-1 . Both rates were adjusted to MAP between 60-80 mm Hg but the maximal DA infusion rate was 5 ?g?kg-1?min-1 . Anesthesia was induced with midazolam, propofol, fentanyl and vecuronium and maintained with isoflurane inhalation, continuous propofol infusion and intermittent i.v. boluses of fentanyl, midazolam and pipecuronium. Radial artery was cannulated and S-G catheter was placed via right internal jugular vein. Hemodynamic variables such as MAP, CVP, PAP, PCWP, SVRI, PVRI, blood gases, mixed venous blood O2 saturation (SvO2), blood lactate, Cr and BUN were measured and O2 delivery (DO2 ) and O2 consumption (VO2 ) were calculated and recorded after induction and before surgery (T1 baseline), 60 min after operation was started (T2), at 60 min anhepatic phase (T3) and 60 min neohepatic phase (T4 ) and at the end of operation ( T5). Results There were no significant differences between the two groups with respect to age, sex, body weight, duration of operation and types of surgery. MAP and HR were quite stable in both groups. 10.Overview of the viability assessment of neonatal disease screening in China

Objective To provide decision-making information for the spread of techniques that improve the quality of neonates. Methods A systematic study was made of the political, technical, economic and social viability of neonatal disease screening in China by means of economic and policy evaluation, sociological analysis, and statistical analysis. Results Neonatal disease screening was conducted in 29 provinces throughout the country. However, there was a great difference between the provinces in screening coverage. In order to strengthen control, 16 provinces issued methods or regulations concerning neonatal disease screening. Since the Ministry of Health did not issue relevant control methods that would standardize the responsibilities of the organizations undertaking the screening, problems affecting the safety and effectiveness of neonatal disease screening became increasingly prominent. Conclusion It is necessary and viable to conduct neonatal disease screening in China. But macro control of the work by the government needs to be reinforced. The Ministry of Health ought to issue as soon as possible methods for controlling neonatal disease screening and relevant technical criteria. At the same time publicity of the work needs to be strengthened in society so as to give it impetus throughout the country.
