Journal of Practical Stomatology 1996;0(02):-
Objective:To study clinical efficacy of one-visit versus two-visit root canal therapy for pulpitis, apical periodontitis and taintless teeth with nickel-titanium rotary instruments and ultrasonic irrigation unit. Methods: A total of 309 patients with 338 teeth were selected. The teeth were classified into pulpitis group, apical periodontitis group and taintless teeth group. Patients were randomly assigned to either the one-visit or two-visit root canal therapy, the treatment effects were evaluated with clinical trial and radiography after 3 days, 1 week, 1 month and 3 months. Results: The short-term outcome was changes in apical bone density by using the periapical index (PAI), long-term outcome exhibited equally improvement in clinical curative effect in both groups. Although one-visit root treatment could cause more intensive postoperative pain than that of two-visit endodontic treatment during 1-3 days, the indisposition could be eliminated by using medicine. Conclusion: By using of the nickel-titanium rotary instruments and canal ultrasonic irrigation unit, the cure rate of root canal therapy of one-visit and two-visit endodontic treatment has been improved, with no significant difference between two groups, so that one-visit root treatment can be used in clinic.

Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2017;36(6):711-714
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture-moxibustion in treating endometriosis (EM). Method Fifty EM patients were randomized into two groups, 25 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by acupuncture-moxibustion, while the control group was intervened by oral administration of Mifepristone tablets. Abdominal pain, pelvic lump, and relevant indicators were observed before and after the treatment, and the therapeutic efficacies were compared.Result After 6-month treatment, symptoms including abdominal pain obviously subsided in the treatment group and the total effective rate was 92.0%, versus 52.0% in the control group, and the between-group difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). The pelvic lump size was significantly changed after the treatment in both groups (P<0.05), suggesting that the lump size became smaller in both groups after the treatment;there was a significant difference in comparing the pelvic lump size between the two groups after the treatment (P<0.05), indicating that the lump size was reduced more significantly in the acupuncture-moxibustion group. The level of serum CA125 changed significantly after the treatment in both groups (P<0.05), suggesting that serum CA125 dropped in both groups after the treatment; there was a significant difference in comparing the level of serum CA125 between the two groups after the treatment (P<0.05), indicating that serum CA125 dropped more significantly in the acupuncture-moxibustion group. A year later, there was a significant difference in comparing the relapse rate between the two groups (P<0.05), revealing that the relapse rate was significantly lower in the acupuncture-moxibustion group than in the medication group. Conclusion Acupuncture-moxibustion can produce a marked therapeutic efficacy in treating EM.

For ulcer by gastroscopy, the total effective rate was 85.3% in the treatment group versus 69.7% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the Hp level didn’t show significant change (P>0.05). The relapse rate of the control group was higher than that of the treatment group 12 months after the intervention. Conclusion Aconite-cake-partitioned moxibustion plus acupuncture can produce a higher efficacy than Western medication in treating peptic ulcer.
5.Association between prostasomes and prostate disease
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2017;36(1):102-105
Prostasomes are one of the subcellular structures secreted by prostatic epithelial cells. They present in human semen as membranous vesicles with average diameter of 150nm(40-500nm).440 proteins have been identified in human prostasomes and possess many physical functions.Prostasomes may not only exert a motility function for spermatozoa by delaying the acrosome reaction, but also have immune regulatory function, antibacterial and antioxidant characteristics.Prostasomes can be isolated from the serum and urine, and they present both in normal and prostatic cancer tissues.Prostasome can be a special prostatic biomarker and has a close association with prostatitis and prostate cancer.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2001;21(1):52-54
ObjectiveTo evaluate the marginal integrity of restoration in two types of mate- rials, or resin- modified glass ionomer cement and polyacid- modified composite resin (compomer). MethodsRestorations of four kinds of material (GC Fuji Ⅱ LC, VitremerTM, Dyract compomer and F2000 compomer) were placed in the facial Class V cavity preparations in forty noncarious human molar teeth. The teeth were randomly assigned to 4 experimental groups of 10 teeth each. After thermal cy- cling( × 20,5 ~55℃ ), the teeth were immersed in 1% basic fuchsin dye for 24 hours at room tempera- ture. Staining along the teeth restoration interface was recorded. ResultsThe data indicated signifi- cant differences between all the restorative materials for both occlusal and gingival scores ( P=0.026, P = 0. 000)respectively. Further analysis revealed there were statistically significant differences between GC Fuji Ⅱ LC and others on occlusal margins versus Dyract compomer and others on gingival margins. Conclusion Factors such as dental conditioning, rates of water absorption and thermal coefficient were related to microleakage. Resin - modified glass ionomer cement showed less microleakage than polyacid- modified composite resin tested.
