2.Clinical Analysis of Drug Fever Induced by Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam Sodium for Injection
China Pharmacy 2015;(18):2503-2505
OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the timely and accurate judgment of drug fever induced by Piperacillin sodi-um and tazobactam sodium for injection and rational drug use in the clinic. METHODS:The medication, clinical manifestations, laboratory examination results and the physician treatment of 30 inpatients with drug fever induced by Piperacillin sodium and tazo-bactam sodium for injection from Sept. 2013 to Sept. 2014 were analyzed retrospectively and statistically. RESULTS:Most of the drug fever induced by Piperacillin sodium and tazobactam sodium for injection occurred in continuous 7 to 14 d medication, and the cumulative dosages were between 1.3 to 2.7 g/kg;73.3% of the 30 patients had fever during the intravenous drip, with body temperature mainly≥38.5 ℃;the elevation of eosinophil and slightly increase of serum C-reactive protein (CRP) and blood cell sedimentation rate (ESR) could be used as observation indexes of drug fever, but the leucocyte reduce could’t be suitable;the body temperature dropped to normal within 24 to 48 hours after stopped using it. CONCLUSIONS:The drug fever induced by Piperacillin sodium and tazobactam sodium for injection has no correlation with the patients’gender or age,and no special diagnos-tic criteria. But it has certain correlation with duration of medication, cumulative days and dosages and it can be used as reference of judgment with the combination of hematological examination index. Clinicians should improve the understanding and attention about drug fever to stop using suspicious drug in time.
3.Effects of Atorvastatin Combined with Allopurinol on Blood Lipid and Blood Uric Acid in Patients with Hy-perlipidemia and Hyperuricemia
China Pharmacy 2016;27(12):1632-1634
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects of atorvastatin combined with allopurinol on blood lipid and blood uric acid in patients with hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia. METHODS:90 patients with hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia were randomly di-vided into group A,group B and group C. Group A was orally given 0.1 g Allopurinol tablet, once a day+30 mg Atorvastatin calci-um tablet, once a day. Group B was given Atorvastatin calcium tablet(the same dose with group A). Group C was given Allopuri-nol tablet (the same dose with group A). The treatment course for all groups was 4 weeks. TG,TC,LDL,HDL,UA,BUN, ALT and CK before and after treatment, and incidence of adverse reactions in all groups were observed. RESULTS:After treat-ment,TG,TC and LDL in all groups were significantly lower than before, group A and B were lower than group C,the differenc-es were statistically significant (P<0.05);UA in all groups was significantly lower than before, group A and B were lower than group C,group A was lower than group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);ALT in group A and B,CK in all groups and BUN levels in group A and group C were significantly higher than before,CK in group A and group B higher than group C,group A was higher than group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). And there was no significant dif-ference in the incidence of adverse reactions among all groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Atorvastatin combined with allopurinol can significantly reduce the blood lipid and blood uric acid levels of patients, with good safety.
4.Efficacy observation on acupuncture-moxibustion for urinary retention after surgery for cervical cancer
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2015;(3):203-206
Objective:To observe the efficacy of acupuncture-moxibustion therapy in treating urinary retention after surgery for cervical cancer. Methods:Fifty eligible patients were randomized into a treatment group and a control group by their visiting sequence, 25 in each group. The control group was intervened by indwelling urethral catheter after gynecological surgery; while the treatment group started to receive acupuncture-moxibustion and cupping treatment at the 7th day after surgery, in addition to the intervention given to the control group. The residual urine volume and total effective rate of the two groups were detected. Results:After 7-day treatments, the total effective rate was 92.0% in the treatment group versus 72.0% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:Acupuncture-moxibustion treatment plus cupping based on the conventional intervention is effective for urinary retention after surgery for cervical cancer, worth promoting in clinic.
5.Content Comparison of Total Flavonoids in Cyperus Rotundus from Different Habitats
China Pharmacist 2015;(5):773-774
Objective:To establish the determination method for total flavonoids in Cyperus rotundus and investigate the total fla-vonoids content in Cyperus rotundus from different habitats. Methods:Total flavonoids in Cyperus rotundus from different habitats were detected by ultraviolet spectrophotometry with rutin as the standard substance. Results:The absorbance of rutin had a good linear cor-relation with the concentration within the range of 0.064 3-0.642 6 mg·ml-1(r =0.999 1). The average recovery was 99.74%(RSD=2. 16%,n=6). The order of total flavonoids content in Cyperus rotundus from different habitats was Henan province >Sichuan province> Guangdong province >Anhui province > Halnan province >Shandong province. Conclusion:The method is easy and ac-curate, which can be applied in the quality control of Cyperus rotundus. The total flavonoids content in Cyperus rotundus from Henan province is the highest.
7.Effects of 5-hydroxytryptamine on apoptosis of cultured human cytotrophoblast cells
Journal of Jilin University(Medicine Edition) 2006;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the effects of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) on apoptosis of cultured human cytotrophoblast cells and its possible mechanism involved in pathogenesis of pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome. Methods Human cytotrophoblast cells from three term pregnancy(37-39 weeks) women were cultured and divided into four groups: normal control group,5-HT groups(0.1,1 and 10 ?mol?L~(-1)).The cells were cultivated for 3,6,12 and 24 h,respectively.Apoptotic index was measured by TdT-mediated biotinyated-dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) and morphological features of apoptotic cells were observed under electron microscope. Results When cells were cultivated for 3,6,12 and 24 h,compared with the normal control group(1.21?0.97,2.30?1.24,3.89?2.32 and 7.34?5.59,respectively),apoptotic indexes of cytotrophoblast cells in(10 ?mol?L~(-1)) 5-HT group were significantly increased(8.40?2.48,17.82?5.43,29.53?7.41,(45.56?)12.10,respectively)(P0.05).The significant morphological changes of apoptotic cytotrophoblast cells in various groups were found under electron microscope.Apoptotic cytotrophoblast cells were obviously compact and the chromatins were formed as mass and apoptotic bodies were also found under electron microscope. Conclusion 5-HT can promote the apoptosis of human cytotrophoblast cells and its mechanism may be correlated with pregnancy induced-hypertension syndrome.
8.Research progress of JAK1/2 inhibitors in the treatment of myeloproliferative neoplasms
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2015;24(7):405-407,411
The bcr-abl negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) include polycythemia vera (PV),essential thrombocythemia (ET) and primary myelofibrosis (PMF).Along with the detecting of JAK2 V617F gene mutation in MPN patients,a series of small molecules drugs that targeted to the mutation have been investigated in clinical trials.Ruxolitinib is the inhibitor of JAK1/2,which has been proved by USA Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA) to treat patients with intermediate-2 or high-risk PMF or post-PV MF or post-ET MF and PV patients who are intolerant or resistant to hydroxycarbamide, attributed to a number of clinical trials, especially in COMFORT-Ⅰ and COMFORT-Ⅱ.As a result, the MPN patients have new hope for the treatment.
9.Determining carbamazepine and its active metabolite in human serum by HPLC method
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
An isocratic high-performance liquid-chromatographic method is-described for the simultaneously determining carbamazepine and its biologically active metabolite, carbamazepine-10, 11-epoxide. Serum samples containing an internal standard (10-methoxycarba-mazepine) are extracted with dichlor-methane and 4 mol ? L-1 sodium hydroxide. The organic extract are evaporated at ambient temperature under a stream of nitrogen. The residues are reconstituted in mobile phase and injected on to a re-versed-phase C18 Column (150?4. 6mm I. D). The mobile phase consists of ace-tontrile/methanol/water (50/210/260 by vol) . The UV detector is operated at 214nm. The elution times of all com-pounds are within 7 min.The least detectable concentrations of carbamazepine and carbamazepine-10, 11-epoxide are 0. 08mg ? L-1 and 0.1mg ? L-1, respectively. The average absolute recovery for carbamazepine is 96.0% and for carbamazepine-10,11-epoxide is 97.3%. Within-run CV is 3. 3%~5.7%. and between-run CV is 4.3%~9.0%. The standard curve is linear at least within 40mg ? L-1 for carbamazepine and within 20mg ? L-1 for carbamazepine-10, 11-epoxide.
