Serum Zn, Na, Ca, Mg, K, and Cu contents of 40 male adults were determined during the four seasons in Urumchi by Atomic absorption spectro-photometry.The results showed that the content of Cu was 87.3?11.50~99.6?6.90 ?g%; Zn 85.8?29.35~118.3? 20.88ug%; K 3.9?0.31~5.1 ? 0.42meq/L; Na 137.9?9.60~146.2?2.70meq/L;Ca9.2?0.53~10.3?0.88mg%; Mg 1.9?0.11~ 2.2?0.14mg% respectively.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acyclovir combined with prednisone in the treatment of herpes zoster.Methods 128 patients with herpes zoster were selected as study objects,and they were divided into the treatment group and the control group by using the method of complete random distribution,64 cases in each group.The patients in the treatment group were treated with oral acyclovir and prednisone,while those in the control group received oral acyclovir alone.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was observed.Results The blistering,crusting and healing time had no significant differences between the two groups(t=1.76,1.79,1.41,all P＞0.05).The analgesic time of the treatment group was (3.2±1.2)d,which was significantly shorter than (7.4±2.6)d of the control group (t=11.73,P＜0.01).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 95.3％,which was significantly higher than 73.4％ of the control group,the difference was significant(χ2=16.13,P＜0.01).In the treatment group,there were 2 cases of postherpetic neuralgia.In the control group,8 cases had postherpetic neuralgia.The incidence rate of adverse events in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(χ2=6.01,P＜0.05).Conclusion Acyclovir combined with prednisone in the treatment of herpes zoster has significant clinical efficacy,it can shorten the analgesic time,and is worthy of clinical application.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of outer membrane protein on drug resistance of 59 strains of cefoxitin-resistant Escherichia coli.METHODS:PCR method was performed on test strains to identify OmpF gene.The outer membrane protein(OMP) profiles were studied by sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(SDS-PAGE).Sensitivity of 20 kinds of antibiotics to test strains was tested by Microdilution.RESULTS:Among 59 strains of Escherichia coli,OmpF gene were positive in 29 strains(49%),of which 20 strains were among 25 strains which produced AmpC enzyme.30 OmpF gene-negative strains had not occurred OmpF protein bands,of which 13 strains missed OmpC protein bands simultaneously.Among 29 strains of OmpF gene-positive bacteria,4 stains missed OmpF protein bands.59 strains were all resistant to many types of antibiotics.CONCLUSION:Deletion of OmpF gene and protein is the main reason for non-AmpC enzyme production strains resistant to cefoxitin.Porin loss bring about primarily cefoxitin-resistant property but little impact on other antibiotics.

Aim To explore the protective effect of ac-tive components of Xiaoxuming decoction ( XXMD ) on focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats dur-ing early recovery period .Methods The ischemia and reperfusion of middle cerebral artery model rats were established by nylon wire with 2 hours ischemic time on healthy male SD rats .The models of MCAO were eval-uated by Zea-Longa′s standard score .The model rats were randomly divided into sham operation group , the ischemia/reperfusion model group , the active compo-nents group of Xiaoxuming decoction and the positive group (extract of ginkgo biloba leaves EGb 761).Rats were orally administrated with different drugs 24 h after operation for up to 14 days, once a day.The effect of active components of Xiaoxuming decoction on behavior changes of MCAO rats in different recovery period was evaluated by a series of behavioral assessent methods such as modified neurological severity scores and cor-ner test.The infarct volume was observed by TTC stai-ning.Moreover, the contents of MDA and the activities of GSH-Px, SOD and NOS in the penumbra and core tissues of rat brain were detected by spectrophotometric method.Results Compared with the I/R model group, the active components group of XXMD could significantly alleviate the neurological deficit scores with prolonged administration . The motion function tended to be normal , stayed longer on the balance beam, sensory function gradually restored sensitivity , reduced the radio of turning to the right .Among them , compared with model group , the active components of XXMD could effectively improve the neurological dys-function after five days of administration ( P<0.05, P<0.01).Meanwhile, the active components of Xiaox-uming decoction could significantly reduce the infarct volume percentage in the cerebral tissue on post opera-tion day 5 and 14(P<0.01).In addition, the active components of XXMD could reduce the content of MDA and the activity of NOS , increase the activity of SOD and GSH-Px.Conclusion The active components of XXMD can generate neuroprotective effect in early stage of recovery and may play a major role in regula-ting the level of oxidative stress in rat brain .

Objective To construct a framework and relevant evaluation items of the teaching ability for nursing teachers in colleges or universities.Methods The research was carried out by a variety of means such as theory analysis,literature study,expert consultation,etc,to explore behavior items that could be used to evaluate the teaching ability for nursing teachers in colleges or universities.A questionnaire was formed and a survey was conducted in a total of 194 nursing teachers from ten colleges or universities across the whole nation.Then,factor analysis was performed to build the relevant evaluation items for teaching ability of full-time nursing teacher.Cronbach's α and Spearman correlation were used to test the reliability and validity.Results The relevant evaluation items of teaching ability for nursing teachers contained 31 behavior items from six domains,which were teaching research ability,emotional teaching ability,expressing ability,self-examination ability,integration ability,and organizing ability.Cronbach's α of the total system was up to 0.913 0,Cronbach's α of each domain ranged from 0.681 0 to 0.815 8.Every factor had positive correlation with the totality,and the correlation coefficient of every item with its affiliated factor was greater than other factors.Conclusions The relevant evaluation questionnaire of teaching ability for nursing teachers has excellent reliability and validity.It can provide reference standard to directing admission,training,and teaching evaluation for nursing teachers.
