1.Meniscal repair in the avascular zone with transplantation of bone marrow stromal cells: an experimental study
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2001;21(1):41-44
Objective To compare the influence of autologous and allogenic bone marrow stromal cells for repairing meniscal injury in avascular zone. Methods Forty New Zealand white rabbits were evenly divided into group A and B. The bone marrow stromal cells from group A rabbits were cultured and mixed with fibrin glue, forming graft. In group A, the graft was implanted into the meniscal injury zone in one side of the knees(autograft group), and only fibrin glue in another side(fibrin glue group). In group B, the graft was implanted into one side of knees (allograft group), and nothing was implanted into contralateral knees(control group). The rabbits were sacrificed 1, 2 and 3 months after surgery, and morphological study was done. Results In the autograft group, fibrous tissue containing a great deal of fibroblast appeared in the injured zone after 1 month, a large number of chondrocytes with formation of collagens were seen after 2 months, and the injuries healed up with fibrous cartilage after 3 months. In the control group, no healing was seen until 3 months. In the fibrin glue group, fibrous tissue was seen with a few fibroblasts, forming scar healing, but no chondrocyte. In the allograft group, the morphological appearance was similar with the autograft group. However, a large number of lymphocytes were seen in reparative tissue. Conclusion Transplantation of bone marrow stromal cells can promote the healing of meniscal injury in avascular zone. Though the allograft of bone marrow stromal cells may induce rejection, its occurrence rate is lower. The allograft for repairing the meniscal injury is worthy of further study.
2.The value of critical care ultrasound in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2021;28(4):269-272
Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)is a salvage treatment for severe respiratory or circulatory failure, which is refractory to conventional management.Critical care ultrasound can be used in each phase of pediatric ECMO treatment, such as ECMO initiation, cannulation, complications management, weaning and so on, which may provide valuable information for pediatricians.
3.Development of fetal ECG based on visual instrument
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(12):-
A computerized fetal ECG(FECG)system is presented,w hi ch is composed of two components. One is the data collection device with a PIC m icrocomputer as the main hardware, which has low power consumption and gets power supply through serial port. The other is a software platform based on PC,which i s built through LabView6.1,a graphic programming language.Plenty of modules prov ided by LabView6.1utilized,it is efficient to develop the software platform. In particular, the implementation of the matched filtering algorithms is introduced ,which is the core of the software platform.A new method of updating templates o f matched filter is described.
4.Security problems of continuous blood purification
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2012;19(2):118-120,127
As a kind of effective treatment, continuous blood purification (CBP),still left some risk factors in critically ill children. The risk factors include catheter-related complications such as bleeding and mispractice at the acute phase,long-term complications such as catheter infections, tube jam;complications occurred in the process of CBP such as low blood pressure, hypothermia and abnormal coagulation;metabolic complications such as lost syndrome and imbalance syndrome.CBP should be implemented safely and effectively in pediatric field by mastering the skill proficiently, continuously monitoring vital signs, tackling complications and accidental episodes.
5.Effects of Recombined Human Growth Hormon-enhanced Early Enteral Nutrition on Healing of the Patients After Operation for Severe Abdomianl Trauma
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(05):-
Objective To explore the effects of recombined human growth hormon-enhanced early enteral nutrition on healing of the patients after operation for sereve abdominal trauma. Methods 60 patients with severe abdominal trauma were randomly divided into PN(n=20),EN(n=20) and EN+ rhGH(n=20) groups.Nutrient status and immune function of 3 groups were detected on the postoperative day 1,7 and 10.Results EN+ rhGH group showed more effective process than EN and PN groups in improving postoperative nutrient status, immune function and nitrogen balance, whose indexs except CD8 changed significantly on the postoperative day 7 and 10 than that in PN group(P
6.SELENIUM LOAD TESTS IN THE CHILDREN FROM KASHIN-BECK DISEASE AFFECTED AREAS
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(04):-
Se load tests were carried out by administering 150?g Se as 0.1% sodium selenite 0. 5ml in 5 groups of male children (7~13 years) including 2 groups from different Kashin-Beck disease affected areas, 2 groups from non-endemic areas and another from an endemic area supplementing Se-fortilled salt for 4 years. The results showed that Se urinary excretion amounts, 6,12 and 24 hour accumulated rates and 24 hour net excretion amounts as well as rates after Se administration were similar between 2 endemic groups, but all far lower than those of 2 non-endemic groups; that urinary Se excretion peak in endemic groups delayed as comparied with non-endemic groups and that the above—mentioned parameters in endemic group supplementing Se restored to the levels of non-endemic groups. All those findings suggested that the children from Kashin-Beck disease affected areas might be in a Se deficiency status and Se supplementation to the endemic children consuming Se fortified salt significantly improve their Se deficiency status.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(06):-
Objective To summarize the anterior trans-sternal approach endoscopic subtotal thyroidectomy. Methods Clinical data of 10 cases of endoscopic subtotal thyroidectomy were reviewed. Results All endoscopic operations in the 10 cases were successfully completed. The operation time was 140~360 min (mean, 164 min), and the postoperative hospital stay ranged 4~8 days (mean, 5 days). No injuries of nerve or parathyroid glands, or other complications occurred. Conclusions The anterior trans-sternal approach endoscopic thyroidectomy is characterized by its safety, reliability, short incision, and good cosmetic results.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the laparoscopic techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of acute abdominal emergency. Methods The efficacy of laparoscopic checkups and treatment in 122 consecutive patients with surgical acute abdomen admitted from January 2001 to February 2003 were analyzed retrospectively. Results Diagnosis was clarified under laparoscope in all the patients.Operations were completed under laparoscope in 117 patients, while a conversion to open surgery was required in 5 patients because of the limitation of vision scope or dense adhesion leading to difficult exposure. Two patients expired. Conclusions Laparoscopy is valuable for the differential diagnosis of surgical acute abdomen.Laparoscopic treatment can be completed in the majority of the patients, but is not advisable in certain cases.
10. Chemical constituents from stems and leaves of Buddleja lindleyana Fort
Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research 2015;42(5):634-636
Objective To investigate the anti-H5N1 activities and chemical constituents from stems and leaves of Buddleja lindleyana Fort. Methods Constituents were separated through AB-8 macroporous resin, chromatography of silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and recrystallization. Structures of the compounds were identified by analysis of physicochemical properties and spectral data. Results Ten compounds were isolated and identified as linarin(l), rutin(2), luteolin(3), quercetin(4), apigenin(5), hesperetin (6), salidroside (7), oleanolic acid (8), ß-sitosterol (9), and daucosterol (l0), respectively. Conclusion Compounds 2-7 were obtained from this plant for the first time.
