1.The application of hedging in academic medical English papers
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;14(10):1012-1015
Hedging is an important component of vague language. This paper retrieves high frequency expressions of hedgingby using medical English corpus. Pragmatic functions of hedging are analyzed, which can be summarized as politeness principle, authors' self-protection, avoidance of the absolute, pursuit of objectiveness as well as conversational implication. To medical researchers, it is necessary to cultivate the awareness of hedging and learn how to adopt it in their research papers.
2.The analysis of the risk factors of the pulmonary fibrosis patients with pulmonary fungal infection
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(18):2485-2486
ObjectiveTo investigate the risk factors, prevention measures and treatment methods of the pulmonary fibrosis patients with nosocomial pulmonary fungal infection. Methods50 pulmonary fibrosis patients with nosocomial pulmonary fungal infection were chosen as the observation group. In the same time,50 pulmonary fibrosis patients without nosocomial pulmonary fungal infection were chosen as the control group. The following factors were compared: hospital stay, corticosteroid use, antibiotic use, invasive procedures, a merger of the underlying disease.ResultsThere were 46% (23/50) patients had long-term use of antibiotics in the observation group, much more than the control group(26% ,13/50) ,the difference was statistically significant( P <0.05) ;More than half of patients in both groups using glucocorticoids, the ratio in the observation group was 84% (42/50), which was significantly higher than the control group( P < 0.05) ; In the observation group, the rates of patients with long time hospitalization ( ≥30 days), received invasive procedures, and associated with underlying diseases were much higher than the control group( all P < 0.05). ConclusionMultiple risk factors could lead to the occurrence of pulmonary fibrosis patients with nosocomial pulmonary fungal infection, and the positive and effective preventions and standard treatment should be taken.
3.Progress of methotrexate combined with other drugs for treatment of primary central nervous system lymphoma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2017;26(6):375-379
Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare type of extranodal lymphoma, and its incidence rate is increasing nowadays. Chemotherapy is the main means for treatment of PCNSL and the efficacy of high-dose methotrexate (HD-MTX) has been confirmed among those chemotherapeutics. Treatments of HD-MTX combined with other drugs have been studied extensively. Progress of HD-MTX and other drugs for PCNSL are reviewed in this article.
4.Application of permanent needle of deep venipuncture to first aid of extensive burn
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective:To explore the clinical application of permanent needle of deep venipuncture in early management of extensive burn.Methods:88 patients with extensively burn are analyzed. Results:The success rate of venipuncture was 96%.The effect was satisfactory, while the complication was less. Conclusion:The permanent needle of deep venipuncture shows an important role in early management of extensive burn.
6.Effect of TGF-?1 on expression of INF-?-induced ?_2 M-in human pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2002;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the effect of TGF? 1 on expression of MHCⅠ type antigen in human pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma. Methods Expressions of ? 2 M in primary culture cells with rhINF? and rhTGF? 1+rhINF? from human pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma were detected by FCM(Flow Cytometry Method), respectively. Results Expression of ? 2 M in all tumor cell groups was induced significantly by rhINF? ( P 0.05) Conclusion Expression of INF? induced MHCⅠ type antigen in human pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma can be inhibited by TGF? 1.
7.Expression of TGF-?_1 in human pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the expression of TGF ? 1 in human pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma Methods TGF ? 1 in serum free conditioned medium of different differentiated degree primary cells in culture from human pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma were detected by ELISA Results TGF ? 1 in serum free conditioned medium from all tumor cell groups is significantly higher than from normal bronchial epithelial cell groups ( P 0 05) Conclusion Inhibition effect by TGF ? 1 on cell growth of human pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma is weakened
8.Selection of specific ouabain conjugated peptides and identification of its binding activity
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(03):-
AIM To select specific ouabain conjugated peptides (OCP) to decline ouabain level. METHODS Biopanning phage displayed 12 peptide library for OCP. The sequences of each selected peptide was determined and analyzed. The binding activity of synthetical OCP was identified by radioligand binding assay (RRA). RESULTS Three kinds of peptides were found out. Peptide A (12 peptide) was occupied in 0 67(8/12). The analysis of protein showed that there was no homogeneous protein in Genebank. The results of RRA showed that there were binding activity between synthetical OCP and 3H ouabain. Dissociation constant(K d) was 1 087 nmol?L -1 . Receptor density was 120 pmol?g -1 protein. IC 50 =1 46?10 -4 mol?L -1 . CONCLUSION It is important to obtain distinctive OCP, by which not only the protein sequence was analyzed, but also a valuable experimental data in detection of ouabain and therapy in hypertension also was offered.
9.EFFECT OF LYCIUM BARBARUM POLYSACCHARIDE ON ANTITUMOR ACTIVITY AND IMMUNE FUNCTION
Lu GAN ; Shenghua ZHANG ;
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
Objective: To study the antitumor effect of Lycium barbarum polysaccharide (LBP X) and its immunity regulating effect on S 180 bearing mice. Methods: S 180 bearing mice were used as animal model. The effect of LBP X on tumor weight and immune function was observed. Results: LBP X could inhibit the growth of S 180 effectively and increase thymus index, the macrophage phagocytic function, anti SRBC antibody secreted by the spleen cells, lymphocyte proliferation and CTL activity and decrease LPO markedly in S 180 bearing mice. Conclusion: The mechanism of tumor inhibition by LBP X was due to enhance the immune function.
10.Growth factor in diabetic neuropathy and nerve regeneration
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
Diabetic neuropathy is the most common peripheral neuropathy, and it is important to enhance both nerve regeneration and prevent nerve degeneration in its treatment. Disturbed nerve regeneration in diabetes has been ascribed,at least in part,to decreases of some neurotrophic factors or the decreases of their receptor expressions. This paper reviewed the effect of some major neurotrophic factors on diabetic neuropathy and their application in clinical treatment.
