Objective:To study the biting force of upper premolar and molar in the patients with unilateral cleft lip and palate(UCLP).Method:25 health people and 22 cases (13 male and 9 female with pemanent teeth) of UCLP without tempromandibular joint dysfuction were selected in the subject.Their biting force of upper premolar and molar in intercaspid position was tested by MBF 1 device, meanwhile, their mastictory perfomance and contact area of upper premolar and molar were checked. All of the results were managed by computer with SPSS 7.5 statistics software.Results:①Biting force of upper premolar and molar of male was higher than that of female in health people, but there was no sexual difference in UCLP.② Biting force in the group of UCLP was lower than that in the control (P

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
The angioarchitecture of both anterior and posterior central gyri of thirty human brains was studied by means of scanning electron microscopy, double injection method and alkaline phosphatase method. The study was divided into two parts. (a) Pial vessels: The branching pattern of pial arteries on the gyrus surface could be classified into 4 types. Type Ⅰ (bilateral branching type) accounted for 44.44% of the total, type Ⅱ (unilateral branching) 17.99%, type Ⅲ (comb-like) 16.93% and type Ⅳ (irregular) 20.63%. Each gyrus was supplied by several main branches, forming various areas separated by poorly vascularized lines. Two types of anastomoses (general and straight anastomoses) were found. (b) Intracerebral vessels: based on the degree of their penetration, intracerebral arteries and veins were divided into 5 groups, respectively. They were short, intermediate and long cortical, subcortical and medullary vessels. Arteries gave off forward, horizontal and recurrent branches. There were more long cortical arteries in the anterior central gyrus and more intermediate arteries in the posterior. The arteries were not accompanied by veins. Though rich blood supply was found in layer Ⅲ-Ⅳ, there was a broad vascular network with large meshes in layer Ⅴ and Ⅵ in the anterior central gyrus. Problems in distinguishing arteries from veins and particular vascular features were discussed.

Two villages including a pilot village and a control village in Xuaneheng City were selected. An integrated measure including replacing bovine with tractors for farming, renovating of latrines and water supply, egarRination and treatment of schistosomiasis in humans, snail survey and control, health education wag implemented in the pilot village, while the sarIIe integrated measure except replacing bovine with tractors was implemented in the control village. From 2005 to 2007.the infection rate of snails in the pilot Villge reduced from 0.0630% to 0.but that increased from 0 to 0.000 2% in the control village.Theinfection rates of schistosome in humans in the pilot and control villages reduced by 71.10% and 74.20%.respectively.It is indicatedthat replacing bovine with tlactors for farming Pan decrease the infection rate of schistosome in humans and snails effectively.

Objective To estimate the effect of the enviromental pollutant 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-pdioxin (TCDD),a representative of the dioxin family,on the expression of cytochrome P4501A1 (CYP1A1) in cultured human immortalized SZ95 sebocytes in vitro,so as to improve understanding of the pathogenesis of chloracne. Methods SZ95 sebocytes were cultured with or without the presence of 10 nmol/L TCDD for two hours or three days.Real time fluorescence-based PCR was performed to quantify the mRNA expression of CYP1A1,immunohistochemistry and Western blot to determine the expression level of CYP1A1 protein,in the SZ95 cells.Chi-square test was done to compare the protein and mRNA expressions of CYP1A1 between untreated and treated SZ95 cells. Results Real time PCR showed that the mRNA expression of CYP1A1 was low in SZ95 sebocytes, and increased by 5.622 times after 2-hour treatment with TCDD(P < 0.05).Immunohistochemistry revealed a weak expression of CYP1A1 protein in the cytoplasm and nuclei of untreated SZ95 sebocytes, which was also significantly enhanced by the TCDD treatment.Western blot results showed that the relative expression level of CYP1A1 protein was 4.233 ± 0.252 in SZ95 sebocytes treated by TCDD for three days, significantly higher than that in untreated sebocytes(0.123 ± 0.208,P < 0.05).Conclusions There is a low expression of CYP1A1 mRNA and protein in SZ95 sebocytes, which can be upregulated by TCDD,suggesting that the CYP1A1 gene is a downstream target of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor responsible for the abnormal differentiation of human sebocytes.

G (E165E) in exon 1 of KRT6A gene, were found in this patient. Conclusions A novel single nucleotide polymorphism of KRT16 gene which can result in the change of amino acid sequence is firstly reported and some known single nucleotide polymorphisms in KRT16 and KRT6A genes are also found in this study.

Objective To investigate the strategies in dealing with intraoperative CO2 embolizm during Laparoscopic hepatectomy (LH).Methods We collected and analyzed data from patients who underwent laparoscopic hepatectomy (LH) in our hospital from Jan.2013 to Aug.2017.There were 321 patients. The criteria for the diagnosis of CO2 embolism were rapid intraoperative decrease in petCO2 and SPO2 accompanied with tachyarrhythmia. Results 12 patients were diagnosed to have CO2 embolism. The rate was 3.7%.For these 12 patients,10 patients were dealt with laparoscopically and 2 patients were converted to open surgery. Conclusion CO2 embolism did not rarely occur in LH patients.Sophisticated operations and careful manipulation in LH are the only ways to prevent CO2 embolism.
