To study the effect of different storage conditions and storage time on herb quality of Lonicera macranthoides, different packaging materials including vacuum plastic bags, plastic bags, woven bags, sealed with endometrial bags, paper bags, sack bags were selected for the study under different storage conditions including room temperature, 5 degrees C refrigerator, low temperature of - 20 degrees C refrigerator and desiccator. Twenty-four batches of samples were used for the study, and active ingredients were determined. The experimental results showed that the ingredients in each storage group changed with the storage time, storage conditions (storage environment, packaging). Under the same storage time, the storage environment (temperature, humidity) had effect on the stability of herb quality. Low temperature had less effect on herb quality. The effect of packaging on herb quality was as following: plastic vacuum packaging > woven with endometrial sealed packaging > plastic bag > woven bag > sack bags > paper bags. Under the same storage conditions, with the increase of storage time, caffeic acid content increased slowly, and other five ingredients content decreased gradually. Storage time affected significantly on the intrinsic quality (chemical composition) and appearance of herb. It is suggested that low temperature (5 degrees C), dark and sealed storage are suitable for storage of L. macranthoides herb, the storage time should be not more than 24 months.

Background Tight junctions are thought to play a significant role in the maintenance of the corneal epithelial defense for the eye,and the restoration of the tight junctions is critical during epithelial wound healing after refractive surgery.However,there are few reports about this study. Objective The aim of this study was to investigate and compare the expression of occludin in corneal epithelium following flap-free epipolis laser insitu keratomileusis (Epi-LASIK) and laser-assisted subepithelial keratectomy ( LASEK ). Methods Forty-eight clean New Zealand white rabbits were randomized into 2 groups,and 24 rabbits for each group.Flap-free Epi-LASIK and LASEK were performed in the right eyes of the rabbits in two groups,and other 2 age matched normal rabbits were as normal controls.The animals were sacrificed and the corneal samples were obtained at 1,2,3,5 days after surgery.Immunofluorescence staining was used to detect the expression of occludin in the corneal epithelium,and RT-PCR was used to identify the level of occludin mRNA in the central cornea. Results Occludin protein was expressed innormal corneal epithelium and showed the green fluorescence with the regular arrangement.The fluorescence intensity was lower in 1 -2 days in LASEK group with the irregular arrangement;while the fluorescence signal in corneal epithelium was stronger in flap-free Epi-LASIK group.3-5 days after surgery,the fluorescence intensities were bothenhanced in two groups.RT-PCR showed that the relative expression of occludin mRNA in corneal epithelium was 0.11 ±0.02,0.25 ± 0.03,0.43 ± 0.04 in LASEK group 1,2,3 days after surgery,respectively,and was lower than those of flap-free Epi-LASIK group ( 0.20± 0.04,0.44 ± 0.04,0.76 ± 0.04 ),showing significant differences between these two groups ( t =6.476,12.898,17.315,P＜ 0.05 ).No significant difference was seen in the expression of occludin mRNA in 5 days after surgery between two groups( t=-0.733,P＞0.05).The relative values of occludin mRNA expression in corneal epithelium were gradually increased with time prolongation,presenting a significant difference among various time points ( Ftime =768.903,P =0.000). Conclusions The reformation of occludin in flap-free Epi-LASIK group is faster than that in LASEK group.Therefore,flap-free Epi-LASIK is prominant in reducing the stimulated symptoms and complication after the surgery.

To ascertain the optimal harvest period of Lonicera Flos (Lonicera macranthoides) the configuration yield and quality of L. macranthiodes bloom verity and bud verity flower at different develop periods were Observed. The quality of L. macranthiodes which harvested at different times of the day was Compared. The configuration was significant difference between different develop period of L. macranthiodes flower. As bud growth, yield increased. Bloom verity of L. macranthoides chlorogenic acid content was significantly lower after opening (silver flower stage, golden flower stage), before opening (young bud stage, green-white stage) have no significant difference of the quality. Bud verity of L. macranthoides macranthoidin B is significant lower at yellow-white stage, young bud stage and green-white stage have no significant difference of the quality. The chlorogenic acid and isochlorogenic acid A content is significant difference between L. macranthoides harvested at different time of the day. The optimal harvest period of bloom verity is the white stage, picking time for 10:00 before and after 18:00. The optimal harvest period is the green-white stage, picking time is 8:00 before and after 18:00.

navirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the patients younger than 18 years old infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) Omicron variant, and to provide a basis for determining the chest CT changes and efficacy of COVID-19 caused by Omicron virus variant in patients younger than 18 years old. Methods　The clinical and imaging data of 30 cases of patients younger than 18 years old infected with COVID-19 Omicron variant, who admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen from February 11 to March 26, 2022 were collected and retrospectively analyzed. The clinical manifestations, imaging features and dynamic changes of lesions were summarized. Results A total of 41 intrapulmonary lesions in 30 patients with COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant. The main manifestations were patchy or nodular ground-glass opacities and/or consolidation, with focal subpleural distribution, lesions mainly occur in the right lung (70.73%, 29/41). There were 42 lesion morphologies, with 22 (52.38%) striped shadows and 16 (38.10%) nodular shadows, with small lamellar and patchy shadows predominating. There were 36 lesion density variations, with ground glass shadows being the most common, with a total of 24 ground glass shadows (66.66%) in each lobe of the lung, and also 6 consolidation lesions (16.67%) and 6 mixed ground glass opacity and consolidation lesions (16.67%). With the progression of the disease, lesions gradually enlarged, appeared on the 2nd day (312.93 mm3), peaked on the 9th day (1 837.18 mm3). The average absorption time of the lesions was (16±3) days, and there was no significant difference between the absorption time of patchy and nodular lesions (ground glass and/or consolidation) (t=0.853, P>0.05). The lesions showed focal ground-glass opacity in the early stage, 77.78% lesions were absorbed after treatment in the late stage. Inflammatory nodules were absorbed slowly (9-19 days), without residual fibrotic changes. Conclusions　The imaging manifestations of COVID-19 in patients younger than 18 years old infected with SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant have certain characteristics, showed patchy or nodular ground glass opacities and/or consolidation, mainly distributed in the subpleural area, with small and few lesions and slow change, didn't remain fibrosis. Being familiar with its clinical and imaging manifestations can assist in early diagnosis, but confirming the diagnosis requires a combination of epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid and radiological manifestations.

Objective To evaluate the levels of oxidative stress in patients undergoing long-term and repetitive exposure to hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatment. Methods 16 healthy volunteers and 58 patients with sub-acute sudden hearing loss (SHL) exposed to HBO were included in the study. Oxidative stress indices (malondialdehyde, MDA, advanced oxidation protein products, AOPP; superoxide dismutase, SOD) were measured in peripheral blood samples collected at the 5th,10th, 20th and 30th HBO treatments sessions (PO2 0.18 MPa, 1 session per day and 5 sessions per week) and under normal ambient pressure respectively. Results After 5th,10th, 20th and 30th sessions of HBOT, no relevant differences in these three indices were detected compared to pre-HBO exposure, between healthy volunteers (P > 0.05). Conclusions The long-term repetitive HBO treatment for 0.18 MPa of PO2 and 30 sessions could not affect in particular the response of the oxidative stress in healthy persons and patients with sub-acute SHL. The influence on three indices of patients with abnormal situation of oxidative stress undergoing lower pressure of HBO (0.18 MPa) is under investigation.

Objective To study their chemical components of xianglingcao(Crotalaria ferruginea) and identify their chemical structures.Methods The compounds were isolated by chromatography and their structures were identified by spectral analysis and compared with the published data.Results Ten compounds were isolated and identified as vomifolilol(Ⅰ),genistein(Ⅱ),p-hydroxybenzoic acid(Ⅲ),5,7-dihydroxy-4-methoxy-flavone-7-O-?-D-glycopyranoside(Ⅳ),octadecoic acid(Ⅴ),octacosanol(Ⅵ),?-stitosterol(Ⅶ),?-daucosterol(Ⅷ),stigmasterol(Ⅸ),and ?5,22 stigmasterol-3-O-?-D-glycopyranoside(Ⅹ).Conclusion The ten compounds are obtained from xianglingcao for the first time.

OBJECTIVETo detect the expression of RhoA in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BLF) from asthma patients allergic to dust mites and study its clinical significance.

METHODSBLF was collected from 47 mite-allergic asthma patients, 15 asthma patients non-allergic to dust mites and 7 healthy volunteers to detect RhoA expression by immunohistochemistry.

RESULTSThe total positivity rates of RhoA expression were 66.7% in mite-allergic asthma patients, 70.2% in asthma patients non-allergic to dust mites and 0 in healthy volunteers, showing significant difference between the 3 groups (P<0.01). No statistical difference was observed in RhoA expression levels between male and female asthma patients allergic to dust mites (P>0.05). The total positivity rate was 83.3% in asthma children allergic to dust mites, higher than that in other patients with different ages, but their RhoA expression levels showed no significant differences (P>0.05). The total positive rates were 33.3%, 57.9%, 88.2% and 100.0% in patients with clinical grades I, II, III and IV, showing significant differences (P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONSThe positivity rate of RhoA in the BLF is higher in asthma patients allergic to dust mites than in normal healthy subjects, increases with the clinical grade.

Objective To investigate the relationship between insulin resistance and erythrocyte in- sulin receptors in patients with gout associated with macroalbruminuria(MAU).Methods FBG,PBG,FINS, P2hINS,CH,TG,HDL,LDL-c,UA and erythrocyte insulin receptors were determined in 44 patients with MAU,62 patients with normal MAU(NMAU).Results In MAU,the levels of FINS,TG,LDL-c and HOMA-IR were(16?4)mU/L,(2.5?0.6)retool/L,(3.2?0.5)mmol/L and 3.6~1.2 respectively.While they were(13?3) mU/L,(2.3?0.8)mmol/L,(3.0?0.5)mmol/L and 3.0~0.4 in NMAU group.The levels of FINS,TG,LDL-c and HOMA-IR were significantly higher in the MAU patients than those in NMAU patients(P

Objective To investigate the association between serum uric acid (SUA) and early clinical outcome among patients with acute stroke.Methods A total of 3231 acute stroke patients were included in the present study.Data on demographic characteristics,life style risk factors,history of disease,admission SUA and clinical outcome at discharge were collected for all participants.Poor clinical outcome was defined as neurologic deficiency (NIHSS≥10) at discharge or death during hospitalization.Results Increased SUA level was associated with decreased risk of poor outcome among ischemic stroke patients.After adjustment for multivariate,the odds ratio (95％ confidence interval) of poor outcome for every increased unit was 0.856 (0.795-0.898) among ischemie stroke patients.Logistic analysis was conducted according to quintile of SUA level,after adjustment for multi-variates,the odds ratio (95％ confidence interval) of poor clinical outcome appeared to be associated with SUA of 197-241 μmol/L,242-285 μmol/L,286-346 lμmol/L and ≥347 μmol/L,but were 0.552 (0.354-0.861),0.417 (0.263-0.661),0.390 (0.241-0.630) and 0.352(0.213-0.581),respectively in those acute ischemic stroke patients,when compared to those with SUA＜ 197 μmol/L.Among acute hemorrhagic stroke patients,after adjustment for multivariate,the odds ratio (95％ confidence interval) of poor outcome for every increased unit was not significant among hemorrhagic stroke patients.According to the quintile of SUA level,when compared to those with SUA＜ 150 μmol/L,the odds ratio(95％ confidence interval) of poor clinical outcomes associated with SUA of 150-185 μmol/L,186-230 μmol/L,231-297 μtmol/L and ≥298 μmol/L,were also not significant among those hemorrhagic stroke patients.Conclusion Elevated SUA seemed to be an independent predictor for short-term good clinical outcome among acute isehemic stroke patients.

Objective To evaluate the running status of the water-improving projects in Gansu Province in order to further improve the supervising mechanism and raise the efficiency of defluoridation in drinking water.Methods The water-improving projects,either being normal,or intermittent,or discarded and the cause of abnormal running in 33 counties in Gansu Province were surveyed with unified standard method.Fluoride content in water was determined by F-ion selective electrode.Results 993 water improving projects covering 3389 fluorosis villages were surveyed,682 projects worked well[68.68%(682/993)]and had supplied water with normal fluoride contents to 2174 villages[64.15%(2174/3389)]and benefited 116.56 hundred thousand populations.And the rest 311[31.32%(311/993)]projects worked abnormally or supplied unqualified fluoride water.The main causes were the exceeded lasting life,insufficiency of water resources,high fluoride content in water and unqualified administration.Conclusions Most of the water-improving projects in Gansu Province are basically running normally,but about 1/3 of the projects do not function well,so the management of the projects must be improved and consummated.
