Objective To compare three methods for culture of fetal cortical neurons of SD rats and find out the suitable culture conditions of fetal cortical neurons in vitro.Methods The cortex of 16-18-day embryonic rat was used for culture in this study.Mechanical dissociation, trypsin digestion and papain digestion were applied respectively to the neuron culture.The morphological characteristics of neuronal cells at different time points were observed and neuron purity was identified by immunofluorescence staining assay.Results High purity of the fetal rat cortical neurons was successfully achieved by all the three culture methods, and each had distinct morphological characteristics at different time points.The purity of neurons was 96.28%, 95.63%and 97.34%, respectively, with no significant differences among the three groups (P>0.05).Conclusions The three culture methods are improved in our study.Stable neurons with high purity can be obtained by all the three methods respectively, and each of these methods has distinct characteristics.

Objective To investigate the principles of combined traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of early postoperation inflammatory small bowel obstruction(EPISBO).Methods 93 cases of EPISBO were randomly divided into two groups including group A,47 cases received combined traditional Chinese and west- ern medicine treatment,and group B 46 received only western medicine treatment.Results 93 patients were all cured through nonsurgical treatment.The combined traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment was better in symtom improvement and reduce of expense.Conclusion The principle treatment of EPISBO is mainly nonsurgical. The traditional Chinese medicine and somatostatin are very important.

It is now widely accepted that platelet aggregation plays an important role in physiological hemostasis and pathological thrombosis associated with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Anti-platelet aggregation drug research is also a hot spot of current research. The biggest challenge of antiplatelet therapy has been the molecular overlap of the hemostasis and thrombosis, leading to a serious risk of bleeding. Recent studies have emphasized the importance of shear stress generated from blood flow, which will primarily drive platelet activation and aggregation in thrombosis. So if we can take advantage of the differences between the physiological and pathological vascular blood flow environment, the development of selective anti-platelet therapy may be a safer treatment for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. In this review, we discuss the underlying mechanisms of shear-induced platelet activation. Later, we summarize the effects and mechanisms of compounds and traditional Chinese medicine on shear-induced platelet activation. The aim is to provide a reference for the study of biological pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.

Objective To investigate the expression of platelet-derived growth factor-D (PDGF-D) and bascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in gastric carcinoma and elucidate the potential relationship between their overex-pression and clinical pathological characteristics. Methods Immunohistochemical assay was performed to detect the protein expression of PDGF-D and VEGF in tissues. Semiquantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain re-action (RT-PCR) was performed to evaluate the mRNA expression of PDGF-D and VEGF in part of random selec-ting gastric carcinoma samples. The correlation between the expression of PDGF-D and VEGF, and the relationship between the expression of PDGF-D, VEGF and the clinical pathological characteristics were analyzed. Results The protein expression of PDGF-D and VEGF in gastric carcinoma tissues were significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues and normal gastric mucosa(P <0.05) ;The expression of PDGF-D and VEGF correlated with TNM staging, depth of invasion and lymphatic metastasis (P < 0.05), while the expression of PDGF-D also correlated to histolog-ical differentiation (P < 0.05). There was a significant positive correlation between PDGF-D and VEGF at the mR-NA and protein expression levels (P < 0.05). Conclusion PDGF-D and VEGF specifically highly expressed in gastric carcinoma. The abnormal expression may play an important role in the carcinogenesis and metastasis of gas-tric carcinoma.

Objective To study the morbidity rule of community trauma and pre-hospital care mea-sures so as to improve the pre-hospital care performance. Methods 962 cases who received pre-hospital care by "120" commanding center in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed by means of self-designed questionnaires. Results The features of community trauma were mainly multiple trauma caused by traffic accidents, the main pre-hospital care measures included bandaging, hematischesis, pexia, aspiration of oxy-gen,intravenous injection, cardiopulmonary resuscitation,tracheal intubation and cricothyroid puncture,a-mong which bandaging, hematischesis and pexia accounted for 92.7 per cent. Conclusions Early and rapid treatments to the wounded patients, and correct medical rescue are very important. They are the two key factors to promote the success rate of rescue. At the same time, sound nursing management, correct medical treatment and nursing coordination are also critical aspects.

Objective To explore the value of bedside ultrasound used by ICU doctor in the rapid diagnosis of traumatic abdominal,and to evaluate the advantage of bedside ultrasound in the treatment decision.Methods 60 patients with traumatic abdominal blood in our hospital admitted to the ICU were selected.All patients were checked through bedside ultrasonography by physicians with professional training of ICU,bedside ultrasound and abdominal CT and abdominal flat piece of traumatic hematocelia,and compared the diagnosis of the time of the bedside ultrasound,abdominal CT and abdominal X -ray and ultrasound physician ultrasound examination.Results The difference of abdominal blood detection rate between bedside ultrasonography and abdominal computed tomo-graphy (CT)had no statistical significance (P >0.05);bedside ultrasonography of abdominal blood detection rate was higher than plain film of the abdomen,the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =73.346,P <0.01);bed-side ultrasound received a preliminary diagnosis of time -consuming (4.37 ±2.1)min was significantly lower than that of the examination of ultrasound physicians (13.86 ±5.6)min,abdominal CT (22.13 ±6.9)min and abdominal plain film (28.19 ±7.32)min,the differences were statistically significant (t =3.947,14.607,21.139,26.338,all P <0.01 ).Conclusion By the professional training of ICU physicians for bedside ultrasound traumatic blood abdominal patients can make a more accurate diagnosis,time -shorten,more accord with the requirement of treating critically ill patients in ICU,which has important clinical value for trauma abdominal blood in early rapid diagnosis and treatment.

ObjectiveTo investigate the value of the MSCT liver perfusion imaging parameters inthe evaluation of the chronic hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis. Methods Liver CT perfusion ( CTP ) was performed in 107 participants,including 31 patients with mild hepatic fibrosis( S1,S2),34 patients with severe hepatic fibrosis ( S3,S4 ) and early stage of hepatic cirrhosis which conformed by liver pathologic biopsy,42 patients with hepatic cirrhosis who had typical clinical and image signs,and 30 healthy subjects as control group.The data of CTP ( HAP,PVP,LTP,HPI and TTP) at different stages were obtained with Body perfect CT-syngo CT2007A and control study with histopathologic stage.Compared the study index by the one-way ANOVA analysis. Used Spearman rank correlation to analysis the relationship between liver perfusion imaging parameters and the degrees of the chronic hepatic fibrosis. Used Logistic regression to analysis the maximum.regression coefficient among the liver perfusion imaging paraneters,which affected the histopathologic stage mostly.ResultsIn the subgroups of the chronic hepatic fibrosis S1,S2,S3,S4 to the hepatic cirrhosis,HAP values was (28.9 ±8.6),(24.6 ±2.4),(29.2 ±2.3) and (38.9 ± 7.0) ml · 100 ml -1 · min-1,respectively.HAP decreased firstly,then increased.Statistic analysis showed the difference of HAP between later-stage cirrhosis and other groups( F =40.26,P ＜ 0.01 ).PVP values of above subgroups was (111.3 ± 18.1),(92.9 ±5.3),(73.0 ±9.0) and (54.1 ± 13.8) ml · 100 ml-1 ·min -1,respectively.TLP values of above subgroups was ( 140.2 ± 25.9 ),( 117.1 ± 4.5 ),( 102.3 ± 8.7 )and (93.0 ± 11.8) ml · 100 ml-1.min-1,respectively.The difference of PVP,TL.P among each subgroup was significant ( F =136.79,67.40,respectively,P ＜ 0.01 ).HPI values of above subgroups was (20.4 ± 2.6)％,(21.0 ±2.1)％,(28.5 ±3.1)％ and (42.6± 11.1)％,respectively.TTP values of above subgroups was (123.7±22.2),(137.1 ±27.1),(145.0 ±28.6) and (166.5 ±25.1)s,respectively.The difference of HPI,TTP among each subgroup was significant( F =93.05,17.37,respectively; P ＜0.01 ).PVP,TLP was significant negative correlation with the degree of the hepatic fibrosis( r =-0.920,-0.846,respectively; P ＜0.01 ).HAP,HPI and TTP was significant positive correlation with the degree of the hepatic fibrosis( r =0.611,0.882 and 0.545,respectively; P ＜ 0.01 ).Logistic regression analysis showed the regression coefficient of PVP( - 8.798) was maximum.With an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of PVP =84.76 ml · 100 ml- 1 · min- 1 as a diagnose critical point.The sensitivity was 0.890,the specificity was 0.950,and the accuracy was 0.931 in the prediction of the chronic hepatic fibrosis.Conclusions MSCT liver perfusion imaging parameters can reflect the hemodynamic changes of chronic hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis.CTP may be helpful for differentiation the severe hepatic fibrosis and early stage of hepatic cirrhosis and later-stage cirrhosis.

The most common forms of treatment for amblyopia are occlusion therapy and pharmacologic penalization. But these methods can not recover all the visual deficits of amblyopes and there are some disadvantages of the treatment which need to be considered, including adverse effects, compliance and social stigma. Recently, some novel approaches are investigated for improving the effectiveness and compliance of treatment for amblyopia.
