Objective To emphasize the necessitya and principle of hearing and speech training after cochlear implantatiom. Methods 2 cases evaluation pre-and post-operation.Results The result of 1 case who carried out effective hearing and speech training post-operation is much better than the result of another one who did not do the training. Conclusion The deaf children can get hearing by cochlear implant. In order to get good rehabilitation result, they should do scientific and effective hearing and speech training.
3. Screening differential protein expressions in colorectal carcinoma cell lines with varying metastatic potentials using proteomic analysis method
Tumor 2008;28(11):925-928
Objective: To analyze the differential protein expressions in highly-metastatic colorectal carcinoma cell lines LoVo and low-metastatic SW480 cells using proteomic analysis method and detect the biological molecule for early diagnosis of metastasis of colo-rectal carcinoma. Methods: Proteins in highly-metastatic LoVo cells and low-metastatic SW480 cells were isolated by two-dimension gel electrophoresis (Two -DE). Two-DE map was established by gel-silver staining and Coomassie brilliant blue staining. The well differentially expressed protein spots were screened by Image Master imaging. The specific protein spots were identified by peptide mass fingerprints using matrix-assisted laser desorption/time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF/MS) and through searching NCBInr database using Mascot software. Results: Twenty one differential protein spots were screened and 5 differential proteins were identified. They included Ezrin protein, transcription elongation factor A, and lamin A/C which were up-regulated in LoVo cells and non-metastatic protein expressed in isoform a (NM23A) and heat shock protein 8 (HSPA8) which were up-regulated in SW480 cells. Conclusion: This study has found that the differential proteins are related with tumor growth, migration, adhesion and apoptosis. Our results provide theoretical basis for finding biological markers for early diagnosis of metastasis of colorectal carcinoma.

Objective To explore the distribution of ABO blood group in Tibetans population and their genetic relationship. Methods Data of ABO blood group of 28 Titetan populations were collected from China and India. The gene frequencies were processed by Phylip3. 68 and MEGA4. 1 genetic analysis software pack, and the Nei's genetic distance was imported and the genetic relationship was analyzed. Results The distribution of ABO blood group among Gansu, Qianghai, Sichuan, Yunnan, Tibet, and India was 0 > A > B > AB. The nation index and genetic distance were 0. 63 ~ 0.98 and 0 ~0. 0072, respectively. Conclusion There is probable historical relationship among the ancestors of these Tibetan populations, but the differentiation incident of Tibetan population living in different area in history was different, so that their distribution of gene frequencies is diversified.

Objective To investigate the effect of combined application of mannitol and monosialoganglioside on neurological function and its efficacy in brain edema after intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods 92 cases of cerebral edema in patients with cerebral hemorrhage in our hospital, were randomly divided into groups, each group of 46 cases, the control group on the basis of the treatment of mannitol (125mL per times, once per 8h) treatment, the study group on the basic of control group received monosialogangliosides (20mg per times, once daily), 10d for a course of treatment, determination of serum indexes, neurological functions were recorded. Results The effective rate of control group was 71.74%, which was lower than 91.30% of the study group, there was significant difference (P < 0.05); compared with control group after treatment , in study group the intracranial pressure, intracranial hematoma, edema decreased, the urine volume increased, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and quality of life score decreased, interleukin (IL-1β), high sensitive C reaction protein (Hs-CRP), IL-6 and IL-8 levels decreased, Na+-K+-ATP enzyme increased, the ratio of cerebrospinal fluid albumin and serum albumin, matrix metalloproteinase (MMP-2) and MMP-9 decreased, there were significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion The effect of the combined application of mannitol and monosialoganglioside on cerebral edema after cerebral hemorrhage is exact and could improve neurologic function.

Objective To study the abnormal findings and metabolic alterations of the brain in chronic hepatic disease with MRI and 1H magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) for better understanding the clinical significance of pallidal hyperintensity and the role in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatic encephalopathy (HE) . Methods Brain MRI and 1H-MRS examination were performed in 50 patients with chronic hepatic disease and 20 healthy volunteers. The pallidus index (PI) was calculated and the height of resonance peaks of Glx was measured. The correlation between PI and Child/Pugh classification, and the association between blood ammonia and the spectroscopic alterations were studied. Pre-and post-therapeutic comparative study was also conducted in 5 cases with chronic HE. Results PI was gradually increased from healthy volunteers to patients with chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis (1.01?0.04, 1.06?0.09, and 1.18?0.09), and the differences in PI value among them were significant (F=22.294, P

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To study the value in predicting the postoperative pulmonary function of the patient with quantitative MSCT.Methods 16-slice spiral CT scanning of lung was performed in 24 patients with pulmonary carcinoma before and after the operation during eupnea. Then the postoperative forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1) and forced vital capacity(FVC)were calculated according to the preoperative lung capacity which was measured by quantitative MSCT,FEV1 and FVC which were measured by pulmonary functional test(PFT),then the results of FEV1 and FVC predicted by MSCT were compared with that two months later after operation. Results There was significant relativity in FEV1 and FVC between predicted by MSCT before operation and measured by PFT after operation ( P was 0.190 and 0.563 respectively). Conclusion Quantitative MSCT can predict the postoperative pulmonary function exactly, which provides dependable reference data for lung resection in the patients.with pulmonary carcinoma.

Objective To evaluate the applied value of MSCT lung volumes measurement in diagnosing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods 40 patients clinically diagnosed with COPD and 26 healthy volunteers as control group underwent MSCT chest CT scanning . The relevant indicators of lung volumes were measured and calculated in comparison with the indicators of clinical lung function . The accuracy and sensitivity of every indicator of lung volumes in forecasting and screening COPD by using ROC curve method were evaluated. Results There were significant differences between the control group and the COPD group in the full expiration volume(Vex),the full inspiration volume(Vin),Vex/Vin and the ratio of the change of lung volume(P

Objective To discuss the effect of nicotine on the growth of rabbit tendon cells.Method 1% concetration Nicotine(0 5ml/kg) was injected into rabbit's auditive vein, then femoral vein blood was extracted at 3 minutes later. Separating blood serum and add it into F-12 medium and 10% fetal bull serum, penicillin, streptomycin, vitC which was then used to culture rabbit tendon cells, observating the time of cell number growth duplication of test group and drawn up its growth curve. The control group was treated as the test group except the rabbit was not injected by nicotine. Results The time of cell number growth duplication of test group was 9?2 1 days and the control group was 7?1 1 days, there was difference significatly between the two groups. Conclusion Nicotine can restrain the growth of rabbit tendon cells and enhance tendon's adhesiveness in post-operation.
