Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of brain-benefiting and collateral-unblocking needling technique for chronic alcoholic gastritis complicated with depression. Methods:A total of 92 cases with chronic alcoholic gastritis complicated with depression were included in this trial. They were randomly allocated into an observation group (n=46) and a control group (n=46) by random number (envelope) method. Patients in the observation group received the brain-benefiting and collateral-unblocking needling technique. Scalp points included Shenting (GV 24), Xinhui (GV 22), Qianding (GV 23), Baihui (GV 20), Chengguang (BL 6), Tongtian (BL 7) and Luoque (BL 8). Body points included Neiguan (PC 6), Zusanli (ST 36), Zhongwan (CV 12), Gongsun (SP 4), Shenmen (HT 7), Daling (PC 7), Qimen (LR 14), Xinshu (BL 15) and Taichong (LR 3). The control group only received the same body acupuncture as the observation group. The treatment was conducted once a day, 30 min for each treatment, and 10 times made up a course of treatment. The efficacy was observed after 3 courses of treatment, and there was a 2-d interval between two courses. Results:After 3 courses of treatment, the clinical symptoms and gastroscopic features were significantly improved in the observation group than that in the control group. The clinical efficacy, self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) were significantly better than those in the control group (allP<0.05). Conclusion:The brain-benefiting and collateral-unblocking needling technique can significantly improve clinical symptoms in patients with chronic alcoholic gastritis complicated with depression and substantially alleviate their gastroscopic features, anxiety and depression.

Objective:To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on the expression of erythropoie-tin-producing hepatocyte receptor B2 (EphB2) in the cortex around the infracted area of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rats at different timing, and to reveal the possible mechanism of acupuncture in the treatment of cerebral ischemia.
Methods:A total of 180 male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into a sham operation group, a model group, an acupoint group and a non-acupoint group, with 45 rats in each group. Rats in each group were further divided into three subgroups: postoperative 3 d, postoperative 14 d and postoperative 21 d groups, with 15 rats in each subgroup. The MCAO model was made by the modified occlusion method. The neurological function score, 2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride (TTC) staining, immunohistochemistry assay, immunofluorescence double labeling method and Western blot were used to detect the corresponding indicators.
Results:The neurological impairment of rats was most obvious at postoperative 3 d, and then gradually improved with time, which was more significant in the acupoint group (P<0.05). The change of infarcted volume was consistent with the neurological function impairment. The number of EphB2 positive cells (EphB2+) around the infarcted area was decreased significantly at postoperative 3 d, and then gradually improved with time, which returned to the same level as that in the sham operation group at postoperative 21 d. The increase was most significant in the acupoint group (P<0.05), and the positive cell number was higher than that in the sham operation group (P<0.01). Western blot and immunohistochemistry results were basically consistent. Immunofluorescence displayed that EphB2+ and postsynaptic density-95 positive (PSD-95+) were co-expressed, after the MCAO operation, in the cortical neuron around the infracted area, and the number of co-expressing cells was increased gradually with time, which was most significant in the acupoint group (P<0.05).
Conclusion:Electroacupuncture at Ganshu (BL 18) and Shenshu (BL 23) can significantly improve the neurological function and cerebral infarcted volume ratio of MCAO rats, which may be related to the activation of EphB2 expression in cortex around the infracted area and the promotion of synaptic remodeling.

Objective:To investigate the clinical value of liquid based cytology in the diagnosis of early non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods:From October 2018 to October 2019, 120 patients with early NSCLC who were confirmed diagnossis by histopathology were selected from Xixi Hospital of Hangzhou and Tongde Hospital of Zhejiang Province. All patients underwent fiberbronchoscopy. All the specimens were performed liquid-based cell wax block and HE staining. Two or more experienced histopathological doctors read the histological samples and then gave pathological reports. The cytological samples were first screened by the primary cytological diagnosis doctors, and then read by the deputy director or chief physician. The cytological pathological reports were given in combination with the clinical practice. Results:HE staining in liquid-based cytology showed that squamous cell carcinoma had many different sizes and shapes, single scattered, polygonal and round, even distribution of chromatin, and no obvious nucleolus.HE staining of adenocarcinoma in liquid-based cytology often gathered solid mass, rich cytoplasm, regular cell size, round nucleus, fine chromatin, and obvious nucleolus.HE staining of small cell cancer in liquid-based cytology mostly scattered, the cytoplasm was rare as naked nucleus, the nucleus was deeply stained, some were angular or short shuttle shaped. The sensitivity and specificity of liquid based cytology in the diagnosis of NSCLC were higher than those of traditional smear (χ 2=4.874, 4.512, all P<0.05). The positive rates of squamous cell carcinoma (72.88%) and adenocarcinoma (85.29%) in liquid based cytology were significantly higher than those in traditional cytology (54.24% and 61.76%) (χ 2=4.427, 6.031, all P<0.05), but there was no statistically significant difference in positive rate of small cell cancer between the two groups (χ 2=1.333, P>0.05). The positive rate of stage Ⅰa in liquid based cytology (86.48%) was higher than that in traditional cytology (64.86%), there was statistically significant difference (χ 2=4.698, P<0.05), but there were no statistically significant differences in the positive rates of stage Ⅰb and stage Ⅱa between the two groups (all P>0.05). Conclusion:Liquid based cytology is of great value in the diagnosis of early NSCLC, which can increase the sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis.

Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of synthetic magnetic resonance imaging (syMRI) quantitative parameters for benign and malignant breast lesions. Methods:From September 2018 to March 2019, a total of 43 cases of breast lesions which were confirmed by surgery and pathology in Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences were enrolled in this study. All patients underwent syMRI sequence scans before and after enhancement except for conventional T2WI, DWI, and enhancement scans. GE AW4.7 workstation was used to generate syMRI parameter maps (T1, T2, proton density mappings), and ITK-SNAP software was used to delineate the volume of interest. The T1, T2, PD values before and after dynamic contrast enhanced (DCE) were obtained, and the change values of each parameter were calculated. Meanwhile, the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) and time intensity curve (TIC) of the lesions were measured. The differences of each parameter value were compared between benign and malignant breast lesions, and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the diagnostic performance of each parameter. Results:Among the 43 enrolled cases, 13 were benign and 30 were malignant. Among the syMRI parameters, the pre-enhancement parameters including T1pre (median 1 663.07 ms), T2pre (median 103.33 ms), post-enhancement parameters ΔT1 (median 1 022.68 ms) and ΔT2 (median 27.67 ms) of benign group, significantly higher than those of the malignant group (the medians were 1 141.74, 92.53, 664.95, and 16.19 ms, respectively, P<0.05). The ADC value of the benign group (median 1.66×10 -3mm 2/s) was significantly higher than that of the malignant group (median 1.00×10 -3mm 2/s, P<0.05). The benign group included 6 cases of TIC curve type Ⅰ, 5 cases of type Ⅱ, and 2 cases of type Ⅲ. The malignant group included 2 cases of TIC curve type Ⅰ, 17 cases of type Ⅱ, and 11 cases of type Ⅲ. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( P<0.05). The area under the ROC curve (AUC) of T1pre before DCE was 0.869, higher than 0.806 of ADC and 0.697 of TIC. When the best cut-off value of 1 282.94 ms was chosen, the sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis were 76.9% and 93.3%, respectively. The combination of T1pre and T2pre can further improve the diagnostic performance (AUC=0.908). Conclusions:Among the syMRI quantitative parameters, T1pre, T2pre, ΔT1 and ΔT2 have good value for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions. T1pre has the best diagnostic performance, and the combination of T1pre and T2pre can further improve the diagnostic performance.

Vibrio splendidus is an opportunistic pathogen in aquaculture. It can infect a variety of aquaculture animals and has caused huge losses to the aquaculture industry. In this study, a novel and efficient method for detecting V. splendidus was developed by combining the exonuclease Ⅲ amplification strategy with a nucleic acid test strip developed based on gold nanoparticles-labeled DNA probe. The results could be directly visualized by naked eyes, and this system overcame the difficulty in preparation of the monoclonal antibody used in conventional immunostrip. Upon optimization of experimental conditions, the detection limit of the strip was 5 ng/mL for the synthetic oligonucleotide DNA fragment and 10 ng/mL for the actual genomic DNA sample of V. splendidus. This test strip was more sensitive compared with the PCR method and was specific for the detection of V. splendidus. The rapid preparation of nucleic acid strip and the efficient detection of V. splendidus open a new way for the prevention and control of aquatic diseases.
