Objective To investigate the efficacy of playing games for improving the angle of genu recurvatum in children with spastic cerebral palsy. MethodsFifty children with spastic cerebral palsy were randomly assigned into a control group (25 cases) and an experimental group (25 cases). The children in both groups were treated using conventional comprehensive rehabilitation and guided family rehabilitation. The children in the experimental group also played games in addition to the conventional rehabilitation practices. The angle of genu recurvatum was assessed using a protractor before and after treatment. ResultsNo significant difference in any item was observed between the two groups before treatment. There was a significant difference in the angle of genu recurvatum after 6 months of treatment. ConclusionPlaying games has evident clinical efficacy in improving the angle of genu recurvatum of children with spastic cerebral palsy.

Objective To investigate the usefulness of acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) elastography for noninvasive evaluation of liver fibrosis in rats. Methods A total of 70 male Wistar rats were included in the group for dimethylnitrosamine (DMN)-induced liver injury, and 10 saline-injected rats were used as normal control.Hepatic injury was induced by a single intraperitoneal injection of DMN at a dose of 50 mg/kg of body weight.Several rats in the group with DNM injected and the normal control group were randomly selected and sacrificed at each of the following post-injection time:day 5,7,10,14,21,24,and 28.And their livers were taken for pathology analysis. All the rats underwent ARFI elastography before sacrificed in order to acquire a shear wave velocity (Vs) to represent liver stiffness.Correlation between Vs and the histological finding was analysed.ResultsAmong 58 successfully modeled rats,9,13,14 and 12 rats were found to be with S1,S2,S3 and S4 of liver fibrosis pathologically, respectively. And 10 rats were found to be with severe inflammatory activity without any fibrosis.Values of Vs increased with the stage of liver fibrosis ( P <0.05).There was a significant correlation between Vs and stage of liver fibrosis ( r =0.947,P =0.000).The areas under ROC curve for the diagnosis of fibrosis S≥S1,S≥S2,S≥S3 and S=S4 were 0.983,0.995,0.999 and 0.964,respectively;for the cutoff values of Vs were 1.59 m/s,2.13 m/s,2.33 m/s and 2.51 m/s,respectively,the sensitivity was 95.8%,92.3%,100% and 84.6%,and specificity was 100%,100%,96.9% and 95.6%,respectively.The values of Vs in the group with severe inflammatory activity were significantly higher than those in the control group ( P =0.000).ConclusionsARFI has a relatively high value in the evaluation of liver fibrfosis in rats, while severe inflammatory activity may affect its accuracy.

Good self-management behaviors can control symptoms of the patients with osteoarthritis, improve the patients' joint function and quality of life. Patients' self-management behaviors have been impacted by disease knowledge, self-effcacy, emotional state, and social support. All the above factors should been taken into full consideration when intervening. Self-management program is an intervention mode which can improve patient self-management behaviors and promote patient health.

OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the clinical effect of different canalith repositioning maneuver in the treatment of the apogeotropic nystagmus of horizontal semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (apogeotropic HSC-BPPV).
METHOD:
Forty patients of apogeotropic HSC-BPPV colleted from March 2014 to May 2015 were divided into two groups, each group had 20 cases. The control group was repositioned with the Gufoni maneuver before the Barbecue maneuver, the research group with the improved Nuti maneuver.
RESULT:
The success rate of the research group was not lower than that of the control group, which hadn't statistical (P > 0.05). And after the Barbecue maneuver, all patients have been recovered.
CONCLUSION
Comparing with the Gufoni maneuver, the improved Nuti maneuver designed by us, had the same success rate to treat apogeotropic HSC-BPPV, and is easier to learn, with more compliance, more comfort and more repeatability.

Objective To study the effect of cyclophosphamide(CP) and its metabolites acrolein(ACR) on PTEN gene deleted on chromosome 10 after acting on ovarian cancer cellsSKOV3.Methods Different concentrations of CP and ACR were selected to act on recombinant PTEN protein. The phosphorylation activity of PTEN was detected by PNPP.The expression of PTEN protein was detected by Western blot. The binding mode of drug with protein was detected by the biotin combined with protein;meanwhile the expression change of P53/TP53 in PTEN gene pathway was analyzed. The target protein was obtained by immunoprecipitation(IP) after different drug concentrations acting on the cells. The phosphorylation activity of the target protein was detected by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Results After the drug metabolites acting on recombinant PTEN protein, the phosphorylation activity was decreased with the increase of drug concentration, while the expression of ACR antibody action was increased with the drug concentration elevation. The expression of protein and biotin in different experimental groups was increased with the increase of drug concentration. The PTEN phosphorylation activity was decreased with the drug concentration increased in cells, and so did the expression of TP53 protein. Conclusion CP metabolite ACR induces the cytotoxicity by inhibiting PTEN protein phosphorylation activity.

Objective:Numerous miRNAs have been found to be abnormally expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However, clinical significance of miR-5010-3p in HCC is not elucidated. This study aims to explore the prognostic value and role of miR-5010-3p in HCC.Methods:The differential gene expression analysis of miR-5010-3p in HCC was performed based on the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to evaluate the predictive value of miR-5010-3p expression level for HCC prognosis. The Kaplan-Meier,Cox univariate, and Cox multivariate analysis were used to predict its role in the prognosis of HCC.The downstream target genes were predicted.Gene ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)analysis were performed to predict the potential functional pathways they may participate in.Finally, methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT)assay and 5-ethyl-2'-deoxyuridine(EDU)incorporation experiment were carried out to prove its effect on proliferation. Results:The expression of miR-5010-3p was associated with histological grade(P=0.019),vascular invasion degree(P=0.049),TP53 level(P=0.004),and alpha fetoprotein(AFP)level(P=0.012).A moderate ability to distinguish between tumor and paracancerous tissues of miR-5010-3p in HCC was perceived by ROC curve(AUC:0.712,95%CI 0.649 to 0.776).High expression of miR-5010-3p was associated with shorter overall survival(OS)(P=0.003).The results of functional enrichment analysis showed that miR-5010-3p was related to the tumorigenesis process. In vitro experiments verified that miR-5010-3p promoted the proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma cells.Conclusion:MiR-5010-3p promotes the proliferation of liver cancer cells, and its high expression is associated with poor prognosis, which may be a potential prognostic marker.
