Total 280 non-medical undergraduates (174 males and 106 females) were enrolled in the study from September 2015 to January 2016.Among all participants,132 received comprehensive cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training,including knowledge teaching,video playing and simulation practice (study group),and 148 received knowledge teaching and simulation practice only (control group).Changes of CPR knowledge,skills and willingness were evaluated before and after training,and compared between two groups.The theory scores were increased after the training in both groups (study group: 87.7±5.6 vs.47.9±4.7,P<0.001;control group: 71.6±5.2 vs.48.4±4.9,P<0.001);there was no significantly difference between two groups before the training (P>0.05),however,there was significant difference after the training (P<0.001).The qualified rates of CPR skills were increased after the training in both groups (study group 81.8% vs.26.5%,P<0.001;control group: 68.2% vs.26.4%,P<0.001);there was no significant difference in qualified rates before the training between two groups (P>0.05),however,there was significant difference after the training (P<0.01).The willingness rates of performing CPR were increased after the training in both groups (study group: 64.4% vs.13.6%,P<0.001;control group: 46.6% vs.14.2%,P<0.001);there was no significant difference in willingness level before the training between two groups (P>0.05),however,there was significantly difference after the training (P<0.01).The study shows that comprehensive training can enhance CPR knowledge,skills and willingness for non-medical undergraduates,indicating that it may also be effective for other social groups.

The development of society raises demands for high-level talents,which requires high level post graduate education.The model of post graduate education is changing from research centered to professional skill centered.The research centered program has a long history and has gained consensus,while the professional skill program is still new.To address the social and economic needs,we explored the professional skill centered post graduate program and report our experience here.

Objective To investigate the incidence of subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) during the third trimester of pregnancy and its effects on pregnancy outcomes and neonatal hypothyroidism.Methods A total of 10 695 women in the third trimester of pregnancy (28-42 weeks of gestation) who labored from January 1,to December 31,2012 in Changzhou Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University were enrolled.The levels of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH),free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) of the mothers were quantified by electrochemical immunoassay.The time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay was used to detect neonatal thyroid hormone levels.Using t test or x2test,the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes was compared between SCH group and euthyroid group and between SCH women with positive (n=40) or negative TPOAb (n=176).Results The incidence of SCH was 2.02％ (216/10 695) and the positive rate of TPOAb in SCH women was 18.5％ (40/216).No neonatal thyroid dysfunction was found.According to the age matched,222 cases were randomly selected as controls from 7 757 euthyroid women.Compared with the controls,SCH women had a higher incidence of premature rupture of membranes [28.7％ (62/216) vs 14.9％ (33/222),x2=12.34],anemia [11.6％ (25/216) vs 4.1％ (9/222),x2=8.65],pregnancy-induced hypertension [9.7％ (21/216) vs 4.5％ (10/222),x2=4.53],premature labor [8.8％ (19/216) vs 3.6％ (8/222),x2=5.10] and intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy [8.3％(18/216) vs 2.3％ (5/222),x2=8.14] (all P＜0.05).The overall incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes was also higher in SCH group than in the controls [69.4％ (150/216) vs 49.5％ (110/222),x2=17.96,P＜0.01].The incidence of fetal growth restriction and still birth in SCH mothers with positive TPOAb was higher than in those with negative TPOAb [7.5％ (3/40) vs 0.0％ (0/176),x2=13.32,P＜0.01; 2.5％ (1/40) vs 0.0％ (0/176),x2=4.40,P＜0.05],but there was no significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes compared with TPOAb-negative mothers [65.0％ (26/40) vs 70.5％ (124/176),x2=0.46,P=0.50].Conclusions SCH diagnosed in the third trimester may lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes.Early screening for thyroid dysfunction is necessary.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics of Behcet's disease (BD) complicated with leukemia and analyze the relationshp between the two diseases. Methods Five cases in the medical literature were retrieved and their data were analyzed. Results The clinical characteristics were : oral ulcersand fever (5 cases), skin lesions (3 cases), vulva ulcers (3 cases), eye lesions (3 cases), arthralgia (4 cases), diges-tive tract ulcerations and hemorrhage (1 cases). All cases coexisted with leukemia were shown to have various degrees of peripheral blood changes and history of immunosuppressive therapy. Among these, 3 cases were coexisted with acute granulocytic leukemia, 1 case with acute monocytic leukemia, 1 case with plasma cell leukemia respectively. All patients died within one year. Conclusion Close relationship can be observed between BD and leukemia from the point of view of the provocating factors, clinical features and drug use.

ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy and safety of infliximab combined withdiseasemodifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) in the treatment of psoriatic arthritis.MethodsThis was an openlabeled trial.All subjects fulfilled the Moll and Wright criteria for definite PsA and-had poor response to DMARDs.The patients received combined infliximab and DMARDs.Infliximab 3 mg/kg was infused at weeks 0,2,6,14.After week 14,patients received infliximab 3 mg/kg every 8 weeks.The primary end point was the improvement of psoriatic arthritis response criteria(PsARC) response.The secondary end point was the percentage of patients who had 20％ improvement of modified American College of Rheumatology (ACR20)response.Parameters for efficacy for psoriatic rash was defined as the proportion of modified 50％ and 75％improvement of psoriasis area and severity index scores (PASI).All adverse reactions in the whole observation period were recorded.Chi-square test and repeated measurement data analysis of variance were used for the statistical analysis.ResultsTwenty-one patients completed the 14 weeks treatment.Five patients completed 26-104 weeks treatment,including 2 cases for 104 weeks.At week 14,the percentage of patients achieving PsARC was 84％,the percentage of patients achieving ACR20 was 77％,and the percentage of patients achieving PASI 50 was 76％.At week 14,tender joint counts,swollen joint counts,patient's assessment of pain,patient's global assessment(PGA),physician's global assessment,dermatology life quality index (DLQI),health assessment questionnaire(HAQ) were significantly improved compared with base-line(P＜0.05).Five patients received 26-104 weeks follow-up,including 2 cases for 104 weeks,four patients was stable,the rash and joint symptoms of 1 patient recurred at 104 weeks.The most frequently occurred adverse reactions were upper respiratory tract infection and skin as well as appendage damages.The second most common adverse effect was elevation of liver enzymes.ConclusionThe infliximab combined with DMARDs is effective and safe for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis.

Objective To investigate the differences in clinical, laboratory and therapeutic aspects of primary Sjogren's syndrome (pSS) between young/middle-age group and old group.Methods The 84 pSS patients were divided into the young and middle-age group (n=54) and the old group (n = 30). The differences in clinical features, laboratory indices and drug therapy were retrospectively analyzed. The chi-square test was used for statistical analysis. Results The positive incidences of xerostomia, dry eye symptom and rampant teeth were 80.0%, 76.7% and 43.3%respectively in the old group. And they were all significantly higher than in young and middle-aged group (57.4%, 51.9% and 20.4%, all P＜0. 05). The positive rates of rheumatoid factor (RF)elevation, antiRo/SSA and antiLa/SSB antibodies were 13. 0%, 36.7% and 16.7% in the old group,and significantly lower than in young and middle-age group (44.4%, 59.3% and 42.6%, all P＜0.05). The incidences of leukopenia and thyroid gland involvement were much lower in the aged group (13.3% and 10.0%) than in the young and middle-age group (48. 1% and 37.0%, P＜0. 05). The percentage of patients receiving hydroxychloroquine as the main medicine was much lower in the aged group than in the young and middle-age group (16.7% vs. 40. 7%, P＜0. 05), while percentage of treatment with exclusive glucosides of Paeony Capsules was much higher (33.3% vs. 14.8%, P＜0.05). There were no statistical differences between two groups in ophthalmological examination,immunoglobulin level and sialography. Conclusions Those pSS patients with late onset exhibit more abnormalities in clinical parameters, but fewer in immunological parameters, which may be helpful in estimating prognosis and pathogenetic factors in pSS.

Chronic lung diseases, including bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, allergic rhinitis and repeated respiratory tract infection (RRTL) in infants, exacerbate frequently in winter because of respiratory viral infections and low temperature. Summer acupoint application therapy (SAAT) is thought to be effective in reducing exacerbation frequency of chronic lung diseases in winter. It is a kind of therapy using a herbal mixture for external application on special acupoints during summer. The herbal mixture basically contains Semen Sinapis Albae, Herba Asari, Radix Euphorbiae Kansui and Rhizoma Corydalis. The acupoints include Feishu (BL13), Dazhui (GV14) and Danzhong (CV17). Through a large-scale multicenter trial based on three years of clinical observation, and retrospective and prospective analyses, this study aims to explore the efficacy of SAAT.

Objective To observe the immunologic effect of transplantation of MSCs by studying the early and later period of collagen induced arthritis. Methods Rats MSCs were isolated and expanded from bone marrow cells by density gradient centrifugation and adhering to the culture plastic bottle, and the phenotypes were assessed by flow cytometry. We established collagen induced arthritis rats model. MSCs wereinjected from tail veins. We observed the expression of Foxp3 mRNA using RT-PCR, and the level of CD4+CD25+ T cell was tested by flow cytometry. One-way ANOVA and LSD-t test were used for statistical analysis.Results The percentage of CD4+ CD25+ T cells in early and later CIA groups was lower than that of normal control group and treatment groups, which showed statistically significant difference (P＜0.05). The level of CD4+ CD25+ T cell in early MSCs treatment group was higher than the later MSNs treatment group, which showed statistically significant difference (P＜0.05). Compared to the normal group and treatment groups, the expression level of Foxp3 mRNA in the early and later CIA groups was decreased markedly, while the early MSNs treatment group versus the later treatment group showed no statistically significant difference (P＞0.05).The intensity of Foxp3 mRNA in the treatment groups was similar to normal control group. Conclusion In this study, MSCs has shown significant immune-modulatory effects. It up-regulates the level of CD4+ CD25+ T cell in CIA rats, accelerate the expression of Foxp3 mRNA. The early treatment group is more effective than the late treatment group.

Objective To investigate the expression alteration and significance of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA)by GWAS(Genome-wide association study)between Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)and its adjacent normal esophageal tissues. Methods lncRNA and mRNA differential expression in 6 pairs of ESCC and matched non-cancerous tissues were screened by microarray assay. The target genes were predicted. Finally , GO(Gene Ontology)and Pathway analysis was used for the further research of lncRNA. Results A total of 680 lncRNA and 1472mRNA were differentially expressed at more than two-fold change(P ≤ 0.05,with 161lncRNA and 653mRNA up-regulated,519lncRNA and 819mRNA down-regulated between ESCC and its adjacent normal esophageal tissues. Gene ontology and pathway analysis results suggested that the differentially expressed genes were involved in 11 pathways.Theyare potentially associated with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma ,including post-translational protein modification ,mucin type O-Glycan biosynthesis and sphingolipid metabolism pathways , which mainly related to the changes of molecular function ,cellular components and biological processes. Through cis and trans analysis,a total of 15 differentially expressed lncRNA had cis-and/or trans-regulated target genes in the database,with 13 lncRNA had cis-regulated target genes,3 lncRNA had trans-regulated target genes,and 1 lncRNA had both cis- and trans-regulated target genes. Conclusion Compared with adjacent normal tissues ,a large number of lncRNA were expressed differentially in ESCC in Xinjiang Han people.Aberrantly expressed lncRNA may play important roles in ESCC development and progression through some signaling pathways ,which are of great significance for further search of new targets for the diagnosis and treatment of ESCC.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics and prognosis of interstitial lung disease (ILD) associated with polymyositis (PM) and dermatomyositis (DM). Methods The clinical data of 107 DM related ILD,and its frequency rate was 26.2%. Arthritis as the first symptom had a higher presenting rate in patients with ILD than in patients with non- ILD.
