The nature of medical science,especially the highly socialized characteristic of modern healthcare service determines that a larger ratio of medical ethics should be included in the new healthcare reform,with the construction of a new medical ethics taken as support and guidance.An overall view of medical ethics is crucial in the construction of medical ethics under the context of current Chinese healthcare reform,that is,the construction of medical ethics should be performed in an ultra-wide field.Medical ethics should take a complete participation in each and every field of healthcare reform,but not merely focuses on the particular field of medical professionals and the construction of a harmonious physician-patient relationship.In the systematic construction of new medical ethics,the current key issue lies in the reconstruction of a socialist medical ethics and related regulations,both for theoretical and practical reasons.The reconstruction is far more than releasing a couple of policies.Merely in a theoretical perspective,seven major issues are to be resolved during the reconstruction process.

Objective To examine the impact of oncology nurses' compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue on doctor-patient relationship satisfaction.Methods Questionnaire survey was conducted by 388 oncology nurses,the questionnaires include Professional Quality of Life Scale and DoctorPatient Relationship Satisfaction Scale.Results The total scores of compassion satisfaction was 34.22±7.19,the total scores of secondary traumatic was 26.32±6.12,the total scores of job burnout was 25.13±6.08,the total scores of doctor-patient relationship satisfaction was 4.24±0.75.Pearson correlation analysis showed that doctor-patient relationship satisfaction score was positively correlated with oncology nurses' compassion satisfaction (r=0.468,P ＜ 0.05),negatioely correlated with nurses' compassion fatigue factor scores (r=-0.182,-0.531).Regression analysis showed that compassion satisfaction,secondary traumatic,job burnout and night shift frequency were influencing factors of doctor-patient relationship satisfaction,which could explain29.2％ of the variance.Conclusions Improvement of the oncology nurses' compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue can improve the doctor-patient relationship satisfaction and the quality of nursing service,and create a harmonious medical environment.

Four cases of primary malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the thorax, arising from the mediastinum, trachea, esophagus and lung respectively are reported. Primary malignant fibrous histiocytoma is rare in those regions, but more commonly in deep fascia and skeletal muscles of the extremities and in the retroperitoneum. It is a distinct form of sarcoma and has been considered to be of primitive mesenchy-mal cell origin. Most of the tumors contain both fibroblast-like and histiocyte-like cells; some contain pleomorphic giant cells and inflammatory celts. They are often confused with other sarcomas. It is impossible to make correct diagnosis preoperatively. Excision is the treatment of choice for malignant fibrous histiocytoma. Radiation and chemotherapy appear to be useful adjuncts to surgical therapy.

Objective To prepare a primary dysmenorrhea self-management behavior scale used for female college students in China.Methods Based on Green health education model,a pool of 40 items was made through literature review as well as semistructured interviews on primary dysmenorrhea in female college sudent.In the following,a primary dysmenorrhea scale for female university students with 20 items was made by considering the advice from five obstetrists and gynecologists and employing a pre-test.Then the primary scale was used for an investigation among 100 female college students with dysmenorrheal and the items were screened by using by item analysis,and a scale with 19 items was decided.The revised scale was finalized by using it among 500 female students with dysmenorrheal in a college in Dalian for a formal investigation,with the reliability and validity tested by factor analysis and correlation analysis.Results The finalized scale was estabhshed containing four dimensions of 19 items.The scale internal consistency Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.91,the index on behaviour,gaining knowledge,treatment compliance and asking for help 0.77,0.88,0.86 and 0.84 respectively.The retest reliability was 0.92 and the index on each dimension was 0.76,0.84,0.83 and 0.77,respectively.The total content validity index of scale content validity index (S-CVI) was 0.93.The content validity index of each dimension,the item cotent validity (I-CVI)was 0.93,0.92,0.92 and 0.94,respectively.By exploratory factor analysis and screen plot,four factors were extracted,with a cumulative contribution rate of 62.90％.The correlation coefficients between the various dimensions were 0.12 to 0.35 and the correlation coefficients between the dimensions and total score were 0.49 to 0.78 (all P ＜0.05).Conclusions Primary dysmenorrhea self-management behavior scales for female college students has a good reliability and validity.It can be used as a tool to evaluate the self management behaviors of female college students in our country.

BACKGROUND: Stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rat(SHRsp) is an animal model of hypertensive stroke commonly used. The species is hard to be maintained due to hypertension and easily affected by environmental factors, therefore the characteristics of stroke are always aberrated.OBJECTIVE: To observe the abilities of reproduction and maintaining the characteristics of hypertensive stroke in SHPsp.DESIGN: Observational controlled study based on rats.SETTING: Cardiovascular Disease Institute and Fuwai Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.MATERIALS: The experiment was conducted Cardiovascular Disease Institute and Fuwai Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences during September 1999 to December 2001. Totally 93 pairs(186) strain SHRsp, 48stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rats of 8 weeks age as well as 98pairs(196) rats of normal blood pressure [Wistar Kyoto rat (WKY) ] were selected.METHODS: Brother sister mating method was used. And the conception rate, number of litter size(only calculating the litter size of mother rat not eating neonatal rats), rate of eating neonatal rats by mother rats were recorded and compared with those of WKY. The systolic pressure and heart rate of strain rat were measured when they were 12, 16 and 20 weeks old. In addition, 488-week SHRsp were loaded 10 g/L salty water to accelerate the occurrence of stroke and hypertension and executed when they naturally dead or 12 weeks after salty water load. The brain tissue was processed by H-E staining and observed under microscope to detect the incidence of stroke.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Conception rate of female rats within 2years; litter rate of pregnant rats; eating, rate of eating neonatal rats by mother rats; systolic pressure of strain rat; heart rate; detection rate of stroke.RESULTS: Totally 93 pairs(186) strain rats of SHRsp, 98 pairs(196) WKY and 48 SHRsp of 8 weeks old entered the final analysis. In the first year there were 2 generations delivered, the average conception rate( 100% ) and average litter number (10.3 rats) of SHRsp were higher than those of WKY of the same term(90%, P ＜ 0. 001; 6. 5 rats, P ＜ 0. 001) . In the second year, there were 2 generations of which the conception rate and average litter number(89%, 8.2 rats) of SHRsp were higher than those of WKY(59%, P ＜ 0. 001; 4. 3 rats, P ＜ 0. 001). There were 87 SHRsp female rats and 67normal blood pressure rats pregnant within 2 years, the rate of eating neonatal rats within 4 weeks postnatal was 6% (5/87) which was lower than that of WKY(18%, 12/67), P ＞ 0.05. The systolic pressure of 12weeks old male rats and female rats was 191.6-223.8 mm Hg and 174. 2-196. 3 mm Hg respectively, while that of 16-week old and 20-week male rats were 219.0 -224. 9 mm Hg and 232.0 -242.6 mm Hg respectively. The blood pressure of SHRsp increased with the advancing of age. The heart rate of 12-week old male and female rats was 388-428 times per minute and 373-417times/minute respectively while that of 16-week and 20-week male rats were 392 -410 times per minute and 404-425 times per minute respectively. The pathological detection rate of 48 SHRsp was 81% (39/48).CONCLUSION: The reproduction ability of SHRsp is similar to normal rats. The blood pressure, heart rate and pathological examination of brain tissue of them all maintain the characteristics of hypertension and stroke so that they can be used as qualified experimental model.

Objective To identify the species of brucella rapidly with small fragments of PCR products. Methods The primers were designed according to Brucella spp. repeated insertion sequence IS711 in addition to the specific gene sequences of Brucella melitensis, Brucella abortus and Brucella suis. The small fragments of 3 standard strains and 13 clinical isolates of Brucella were amplified by PCR. Then PCR products were T-A cloned and sequenced. The DNA of standard strains were diluted for sensitivity and stability testing. Results Four specific PCR products were obtained by PCR (63, 67, 81 and 83 bp). The results of T-A cloning and sequencing were in accord with the target gene fragment test. The detection limit of DNA was 1 μg/L. The expected results were achieved with different primers. Conclusion Species identification of Brucella with small fragments of PCR production is a method to identify Brucella strains with great specificity,sensitivity and stability.

Aim To study the inhibitory effect of NO donating-aspirin derivative Ⅱ_6 on thrombosis and its mechanism of nitric oxide release. Methods Inferior vena cava thrombosis and cerebral thrombosis model in rats were used to investigate the antithrombotic activities of Ⅱ_6.TXB_2 and 6-Keto-PGF_(1?)in rat serum、rat aortic strip and in ECV304 cells were determined by radioimmunosay.NO content in the serum of rats and extracellular fluid of the ECV304 cells were tested with Griess reagent.Results Ⅱ_6 inhibited the thrombosis in inferior vena cava and brain,and it reduced the concentration of TXB_2.but increased NO production.Conclusion Ⅱ_6 has an inhibitory effect on thrombosis and increases NO content in vivo and vitro.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the improvement of Metaanalysis. METHODS:13 repots about Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials(RCTs)on antivirus traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)injections for respiratory tract infections were collected and analyzed. Their qualities were evaluated using QUOROM statement,CONSORT statement,Jadad scale and the quality evaluation method for Metaanalysis posed by Sacks,etc. Disagreements were resolved by consensus. RESULTS:The obtained average mark of 13 studies was(64?10.13)with the highest mark of 84 and the lowest of 52. Quality evaluations of reports were conducted from 5 aspects including 25 items. 5 aspects were all considered in 13 studies. 60% of the 25 items were in- volved in 13 reports at least and 88% at most. CONCLUSION:Meta- analysis methods are improved significantly in China. It should be still standardized to make sure correctness and reliability of results of meta-analysis. Meta-analysis method should be stan-dardized to obtain correct and reliable results.

Objective This study aims to examine expression of Caveolin -1 in non smoking cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and to discusses the relationship between expression of Caveolin -1 and the Epidermal growth factor receptor mutations .Methods Immunohistochemical staining was used to determine the Caveolin -1 ex-pression and ARMS-qPCR was used to measure EGFR mutations in 40 cases of lung cancer tissue .The clinical pathological characteristics and correlations in patients were analyzed .Results The expression of Caveolin -1 in human lung cancer was significantly lower than that in normal lung tissue ,and negatively correlated with EGFR mutations ,which was statistically significant .Conclusion Caveolin -1 expression is negatively correlated with EGFR mutations in non-small cell lung cancer and related to the histologic type .Caveolin-1 may be a molecu-lar target for diagnosis and judgment of NSCLC .
