This article was aimed to study medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the treatment of gastric cancer. The history information of 111 hospitalized cases from 2008 to 2011 was collected from the Department of Oncology of Guang'anmen Hospital with the clinical collection system. The medication rules in the treatment of gastric cancer by TCM were explored by the scale-free network analysis from several aspects, such as effects, classifications and compatibility relations of Chinese medicine. The analysis result of 111 gastric cancer cases showed that strengthening the body resistance was the main treatment principle. Liujunzi decoction was the most frequently used prescription. In TCM compatibility, deficiency-nourishing herbs were the main ingredients, especiallyqi-supplementing herbs which take the first place in the prescription. And the heat-reducing herbs, dampness-eliminating herbs, blood-activating and stasis-eliminating herbs, food stagnation resolving herbs and qi regulation herbs were also used in the combination. Core herbs in the prescription for the treatment of gastric cancer were Tuckahoe, Codonopsis pilosula, Astragalus root, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Fructus Aurantii, Nidus Vespae and etc. TCM treatment, syndrome differentiation and medication are varied according to different therapeutic stages and disease stages. The result showed that scale-free network analysis had certain significance in the understanding of medication rules of TCM treatment of gastric cancer.

Objective:To explore the effects of strengthening night professional nursing of patients with open fractures of the lower extremities. Methods:From January 2019 to June 2020, convenience sampling was used to select 397 patients with open fractures of the lower extremities from the First Orthopedic Trauma, the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University. Patients were randomly assigned to a control group and an observation group, respectively, to receive general nursing (control group) and strengthening night professional nursing (observation group). The control group was equipped with a regular number of nurses. In the observation group, an additional night nurse was assigned for patients undergoing surgery for open fractures of the lower extremities. The nighttime period was from 18∶00 to 8∶00 the next day. The night nurse arranged compensatory time off for the rest of the time or performance rewards. The hospital stay, hospitalization expenses, incidence of complications during hospitalization and half a year after surgery of the two groups were compared. Results:In the control group, there were 196 patients with open fractures of the lower extremities, and 46 patients underwent night surgery. In the observation group, there were 201 patients with open fractures of the lower extremities, and 40 patients underwent night surgery. There were no statistically significant differences between two groups in terms of surgical time, incidence of complications during hospitalization and half a year after surgery ( P>0.05). The hospital stay in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the hospitalization expense was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Strengthening night professional nursing can help shorten the hospital stay of patients undergoing surgery for open fractures of the lower extremities and reduce medical expenses.

Chinese Journal of Surgery 2024;62(2):110-115
With the transformation of the biopsychosocial medical model, psychological problems and related interventions for breast cancer patients have received more and more attention. Patients often have various psychological problems, in diagnosis, treatment, and even in the state of disease-free survival, such as anxiety and depression, which not only seriously reduces the quality of life, but also affects the follow-up treatment and increases the risk of recurrence and metastasis. Therefore, physicians should perform routine psychological screening and appropriate intervention for patients. In recent years, psychological intervention has gradually become an important part of comprehensive breast cancer treatment, in which cognitive behavior therapy can alleviate patients′ anxiety and sleep disorders, mindfulness therapy can treat patients′ anxiety, depression and fear of cancer recurrence, and psychoeducational support is mainly used to address patients′ mood disorders and sexual dysfunction. Improving patients′ compliance with treatment and quality of life is the main goal of psychological intervention for breast cancer patients.
