Proteomics is an emerging branch of bioscience which studies proteome. The main techniques in proteomics include sample preparation in proteomic, two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis, multidimensional protein identification technology, surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide. During the last several years, many advances have been achieved in terms of applications of proteomics in biomarker research for colorectal cancer.

Objective To observe the change of serum TG in elderly diabetic patients after fatty meal.Methods The diabetic patients and non-diabetic patients of fasting normotriglyceridemia ate the fatty test meal after having been fasting for 12h.Serum lipid were measured at 0,2,4 and 6h after the meal.Results The serum TG level increased in the two groups after the meal,the diabetic patients had a higher TG-AUC than the non-diabetic patients (P

Objective To study the feasibility of semi-laminectomy procedures for the management of intradural extramedullary tumors of the spinal cord.Method Retrospective analysis of 19 cases of in-tradural extramedullary tumors of the spinal cord were treated by the approach of semi-laminectomy.including 11 cases of neurilemmoma and 8 cases of meningioma.Results Seventeen cases of extraspinal tumors were totally resection,2 of dumbbell neurilemmomas underwent subtotal resection.No new neurologi-cal disfunetions as well as recurrence or comphcations were found in all cases after the operation.Conclu-sion Semi-laminectomy procedures for the management of intradural extramedullary tumors of the spinal cord is a mini-invasive procedure,and is beneficial to the stability of spine,with the advantages of short hos-pitalization time,slight postoperative reactions and less complications.

Dynamic medical equipment quality control was formed from the static one, so that the efficiency of medical equipment quality control was enhanced greatly. References were provided for other hospitals in dynamic and informatzied medical equipment quality control and testing.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Cerus and cucumis polypeptide injection in the prevention of heterotopic ossification for the drug treatment of traumatic knee joint fracture after operation.Methods To retrospect the analysis about 150 cases with fracture reduction and internal fixation of traumatic around the knee joint fracture from January 2010 to January 2014 in Daliang Hospital of Shunde District of Foshan,including 89 cases of reduction and internal fixation were performed in group A,and with safflower injection infusion therapy,61 cases with allergic constitution were not given by Cerus and cucumis polypeptide injection in group B.According to the activity degree and HSS scoring system,the function of knee joint was evaluated before and after operation.According to the condition of arounding knee joint bone fracture healing and heterotopic ossification in X-ray and CT examination and to compare the correlation of probability between heterotopic ossification and Cerus and cucumis polypeptide injection in traumatic around knee joint fracture.Results All were followed up with 12.0-24.0 months,with average(13.6±2.2)months.Activity of knee joint between group A and B were respectively(47.2±7.3)°,(46.4±6.8)°before treatment,and HSS score of group A and B were respectively(50.8±10.0)points,(51.5±9.6)points,so there were no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05).Activity of knee joint between group A and B were respectively(115.1±6.5)°,(112.1±7.8)°at the time of the last follow-up,and HSS score of group A and B were respectively(86.2±5.0)points,(85.5±7.0)points,so there were no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05).There were statistically significant difference in activity of knee joint and HSS scores in group A or in group B at the time of the last follow-up(t=13.322,12.898,10.052,10.435,P＜0.05).The incidence of heterotopic ossification was 8.99％(8/89)in group A,the incidence of heterotopic ossification was 1.64％(1/61)in group B,there were statistically significant difference between A and B(x2=10.873,P＜0.05).Conclusion During the drug treatment,there is a correlation between heterotopic ossification and Cerus and cucumis polypeptide injection used in traumatic around knee joint fracture after operation.

Objecfive To evaluate the effects of cilostazol on the prevention of microvascular complications in diabetic patients.Methods 60 diabetic patients with microvascular complications were orally given cilostazol for 1 month.Changes of Mean platelet volume (MPV),plateletcrit (PCT),platelet distribution width (PDW) and platelet count (PLT) were studied.Results With administration of cilostazol,MPV and PDW decreased significantly. Conclusion Cilostazol improves platelet parameters,suggesting that it could prevent the progression of microvascular diseases.

Objective To research the expressions of Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) in colorectal cancer and normal tissue and the relationship with clinicopathologic features.Methods The expression levels of SIRT1 mRNA and protein were detected respectively by quantitative real-time reverse transcriptase PCR (RT-QPCR) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) in 45 cases of colorectal carcinoma and 30 cases of normal mucous membrane tissue,and the relationships between the expression status and clinicopathologic features were analyzed.Results In colorectal carcinoma,the expression of SIRT1 mRNA were higher than that in control group [M(QR):2.488(3.447) vs.1.563(2.867),Z =-2.304,P ＜0.05],so was the protein level (71.1％ vs.43.3％,x2 =5.787,P =0.029).The expression of SIRTI was associated with lymph node metastasis (RT-QPCR:Z =-2.160,P =0.031;IHC:P =0.043),neoplasm stages (RT-QPCR:Z =-2.411,P =0.016;IHC:P =0.008),and might associated with the tissue differentiation (RT-QPCR:x2 =10.864,P =0.004;IHC:P =0.322).On the other hand,no significant differences were observed regarding age,sex,tumor size,gross type,depth of invasion,tumor site and distant metastasis.Conclusion The expression of SIRT1 in colorectal cancer is higher than that in control group,the high level of SIRT1 is related to the tumorigenesis and progression of colorectal cancer as well as correlated with prognosis in colorectal cancer.

Aim Toinvestigatetheeffectsoftriptonot-erpene methyl ether ( TME ) , a diterpene derived from the medicinal plant Triptergium wilfordii, on human gastric cancer AGS cell proliferation inhibition and ap-optosisinducedinvitro.Methods MTTassaywas used for screening tumor spectrum and detecting the vi-ability of AGS cells and normal human gastric epitheli-al cells GES-1 . Cell morphology was observed by light microscopy and AO / EB staining. Flow cytometry was used to detect cell apoptotic rate and cell cycle. JC-1 staining and fluorescence probe DCFH-DA were em-ployed to detect the changes of mitochondrial mem-brane potential and reactive oxygen species ( ROS ) . The effect of inhibiting AGS clonogenic survival was as-sayed by the method of plate clone formation. Western blot was used to analyse the expression of caspase-3 , caspase-8,Bcl-2andBax.Results MTTresults showed that TME exhibited significantly higher cytotox-icity to gastric cancer AGS cell line than to noncancer-ous cell line GES-1. IC50 for AGS of 48 h treatment was 23 . 85 μmol · L-1 . TME significantly inhibited colony formation and caused morphological changes in AGS cells. Annexin V-FITC / PI double staining showed the apoptotic rate increased. DCFH-DA stai-ning showed TME resulted in an increase in intracellu-lar ROS levels. Mitochondrial membrane potential de-creased after TME treatment. Western blot results showed that TME increased the proportion of Bax /Bcl-2 , with the activation of caspase-8 and caspase-3 . The broad-spectrum caspase inhibitor z-VAD-fmk pre-treatment reduced the expression of caspase-8 and caspase-3. TME enabled AGS cell cycle arrest in G0/G1phase.Conclusion TMEpossessespotenttumor selected toxicity and can induce apoptosis of AGS cells through cell cycle arrest, which is associated with Bcl-2 protein family.

OBJECTIVE To study characteristics of changing T lymphocytes in epidemic hemorrhagic fever(EHF) patients during acute phase and find out the pathogenesis,in order to elevate the level of early diagnosis.METHODS The anticoagulant blood from 30 cases of EHF patients and 50 normal healthy blood donors was collected.T lymphocyte subsets were detected by flow cytometry.RESULTS Compared with those of normal persons,CD4+ T cell counts of EHF patients decreased,CD8+T cell and double CD4+CD8+ cell(double positive cells,DP cell) counts of EHF patients increased obviously,and 25 cases of EHF in recovery stage returned to normal.And in comparison with HIV,CMV and EBV patients,DP cell counts of EHF patients increased obviously.CONCLUSIONS T lymphocytes of EHF decrease obviously but could be resumed,detection of amounts of lymphocyte subsets and CD4+CD8+ cells can provide an early diagnosis method to EHF.

Objective To study the risk factors of lymph node metastasis in the central neck compartment of thyroid carcinoma,and to explore the reasonable range of lymph node dissection in central neck dissection for clinically node-negative papillary thyroid microcarcinoma patients.Methods From Dec.2015 to Dec.2016,a total of 200 patients with CN0 papillary thyroid carcinoma were randomly divided into two groups according to the registration number:unilateral central neck dissection group and bilateral central neck dissection group in Department of Thyroid Surgery,Fujian Medical University Union Hospital.The risk factors of lymph node metastasis and value of bilateral central neck dissection were analyzed.Results The risk factors of lymph node metastasis in the central papillary thyroid carcinoma were ≥0.7 cm in diameter and older than 45 years in age and gender in male.Further analysis found that contralateral central lymph node metastasis occurred in patients with tumor diameter ≥0.5 cm.The positive rate was 22％.The number of lymph nodes detected in the unilateral and bilateral central areas was 9.53±6.04 and 12.19±7.18,P=0.035,respectively.The positive numbers of lymph nodes were 1.17±1.47 and 2.11±2.75,P=0,022 respectively.Conclusion In patients with tumor diameter ≥0.5 cm,bilateral central neck dissection is conducive to improving the thoroughness of tumor dissection and does not increase the risk of complications.
