Objective Neurological diseases are closely associated with the apoptosis of neuronal cells .This article aims to study the inhibitory effect of taurine on the apoptosis of hippocampal neurons by activating Caspase 9 as well as its protective effect on the nervous system and its mechanisms . Methods Mouse hippocampal neuronal cells were randomly divided into four groups:control, injury and apoptosis, low-dose taurine protection, and high-dose taurine protection. The proliferation of the neuronalcells was observed, their apoptosis examined by MTT colorimetric assay, and the expression of Caspase 9 in different groups detected by immunofluorescence and Western blot. Results The injury and apoptosis group showed a poor proliferation of the hippocampal neuronal cells and decreased cell viability (A=0.102 ±0.025), significantly lower than the control group (relative A=0.643 ± 0.013), the low-dose taurine group (relative A=0.504 ±0.072), and the high-dose taurine group (relative A=0.452 ±0.029) ( all P<0 .05 ) .Immunofluorescence assay revealed significantly increased Caspase 9 activation in the injury and apoptosis group (A=61386.8 ±10083.6) compared with the control (A=4502.2 ±2518.1), the low-dose taurine (A=20077.4 ±4187.5), and the high-dose taurine group (A=13976.2 ±7044.1) (all P<0.05).Western blot showed a remarkably higher expression of Caspase 9 in in the injury and apoptosis group (A=1.23) than in the control (relative A=0.17), the low-dose taurine (A=0.21), and the high-dose taurine group (A=0.19) (all P<0.05). Conclusion Taurine can protect neuronal cells by inhibi-ting Caspase 9 activation.

Objective To investigate the cognition and attitude about human papillomavirus (HPV) and HPV vaccines among nurses, so as to provide a certain basis for the popularization of HPV vaccine. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to survey the cognition and attitude about HPV and its vaccine among nurses in Zhejiang Cancer Hospital by a professional platform named "Wenjuanxing" from August to September 2017. A total of 206 questionnaires were collected. Results Among 206 nurses, 98.5% of the nurses had heard of HPV, only 14.1% knew HPV could spread through touching and 41.3% knew that HPV infection can be self subsided. 90.3% of the nurses had heard of HPV vaccine. 78.6% of the nurses would like to take HPV vaccine, and 70.2% of the nurses agreed their daughters to take HPV vaccine. Over 60% nurses worried about the safety and efficacy of HPV vaccine. Conclusions Nurses have some knowledge about HPV and HPV vaccine, but it is not comprehensive enough. The government should strengthen the publicity of knowledge about HPV and HPV vaccine.

Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive intervention led by nursing staffers on the drug compliance in patients with hepatitis B virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after receiving transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) treatment. Methods By using random sampling method,a total of 96 patients with hepatitis B virus-associated HCC,who had been treated with TACE and had taken nucleotide analogue drug for one month in the interventional department of a certain grade Ⅲ tumor hospital, were enrolled in this study.Under the premise of informed consent, comprehensive intervention, which was led by nursing staffers and was participated by both doctors and nurses, was conducted. Results After comprehensive intervention, the average score of drug compliance was (93.670±6.046) points, while the pre-intervention average score of drug compliance was (82.040±10.024) points, the difference between the two was statistically significant (P<0.05).The ratio of patients who showed good drug compliance changed from pre-intervention 62.4% to post-prevention 97.8%(P<0.05).The post-prevention of patients, whose hepatitis B virus deoxyribonucleic acid (HBVDNA) level was within the normal range, was 45.16%,which was highcr than the pre-intervention ratio of 15.05%,the difference between the two was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The comprehensive intervention led by nursing staffers can effectively improve the drug compliance in patients with hepatitis B virus-associated HCC after receiving TACE,and can reliably control serum HBVDNA level as well.

Objective:To develop a risk prediction model for postoperative catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) in patients with gynecologic malignancies, so as to provide a reference for the prevention of CAUTI.Methods:From January to June 2020, convenience sampling was adopted to select postoperative 800 patients with gynecologic malignancies and indwelling urinary catheters in Zhejiang Cancer Hospital as the research object. The patients were divided into derivation samples (derivation group) and validation samples (validation group) according to the ratio of 3∶1 by random number table method. In the derivation group of 600 cases, the predictive factors were analyzed by binomial Logistic regression analysis and the risk prediction model was developed. In the validation group of 200 cases, the receiver operating characteristic curve was used to evaluate the prediction performance of the model. Results:Binomial Logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥ 60 years old, intraoperative urinary tract injury, postoperative bladder irrigation, and indwelling catheter for more than 7 days were risk factors for CAUTI, and the difference was statistical ( P<0.05) . Model evaluation showed that the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of the validation group was 0.79 with a statistical difference [95% CI (0.72, 0.87) , P<0.01], and the sensitivity, specificity and Youden index were 71.8%, 78.3% and 50.1% respectively. Conclusions:The prediction performance of the model is good, which helps medical and nursing staff to monitor high-risk patients and reduce the occurrence of CAUTI.
