Objective: To investigate the status of salt-restriction spoons use among residents in Zhejiang Province, so as to provide evidence for optimizing salt-reduction intervention strategies and preventing chronic disease. Methods: Residents aged 18-69 from five counties (cities/districts) in Zhejiang Province were selected using a multi-stage stratified random sampling method. Demographic characteristics, dietary habits, and salt-restriction spoons use were collected using questionnaires. The rate of salt-restriction spoons use and correct rate of salt-restriction spoons use were analyzed. Factors affecting salt-restriction spoons use among residents were analyzed by multivariable logistic regression model. Results: Totally 7 601 questionnaires were allocated, and 7 509 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 98.79%. The respondents included 3 744 males (49.86%) and 3 765 females (50.14%). The mean age was (44.81±14.03) years. The rate of salt-restriction spoons use was 11.97%, the correct rate of salt-restriction spoon use was 52.73%. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that rural (OR=0.851, 95%CI: 0.731-0.991), education level of primary school and below (illiterate or semi-literate, OR=0.269, 95%CI: 0.172-0.420; primary school, OR=0.595, 95%CI: 0.436-0.811), and excessive dietary salt intake (OR=0.718, 95%CI: 0.559-0.922) were inhibiting factors for salt-restriction spoons use among residents; physical exercise (OR=1.581, 95%CI: 1.362-1.836) and received health education on a low-salt diet (OR=2.082, 95%CI: 1.790-2.421) were promoting factors for salt-restriction spoons use among residents. Conclusions The rate of salt-restriction spoons use among residents in Zhejiang Province was relatively low, primarily influenced by region, educational level, physical activity, dietary salt intake, and health education on a low-salt diet. It is recommended that propose a multi-component intervention strategy centered on skill enhancement and health education, delivered through progressive staged implementation, to promote sustained adoption of salt-restriction spoons among residents.

ObjectiveTo explore the correlations between botanical characteristics， biological characteristics， growth environment， and medicinal properties of common pteridophyte-derived Chinese medicinal materials， thus providing evidence for the theory of quality evaluation through morphological identification and giving insights into the extensive and reasonable application of pteridophytes in traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）. MethodThe medicine parts， habitats， natures， tastes， and effects of the commonly used pteridophyte-derived Chinese medicinal materials were summarized. The commonly used pteridophyte-derived Chinese medicinal materials were retrieved from the Pharmacopoeia of China， Dictionary of Chinese Materia Medica， and related literature. Excel 2016， ChiPlot， Cytoscape 3.7.1， SPSS 21.0， and weiciyun software were used for statistical analysis. ResultThe frequency of the habitats followed the trend of streamside wetland>tree trunk and rock crevices>sunslope>water surface. The frequency of medicinal parts presented the trend of whole plant>rhizome>leaf>dried aboveground part>spore. The frequency of natures was in the order of cool>cold>plain>warm>hot， and that of tastes was in an order of bitter>pungent>sweet>bland>salty. The frequency of meridian tropism followed the trend of liver meridian>stomach meridian>lung meridian>kidney meridian>bladder meridian>heart meridian>large intestine meridian>spleen meridian>small intestine meridian. The effects of the pteridophyte-derived Chinese medicinal materials followed a frequency trend of clearing heat and detoxifying>promoting urination and relieving stranguria>cooling blood and stopping bleeding>activating blood and resolving stasis>dispelling wind and eliminating dampness. ConclusionThe pteridophyte-derived Chinese medicinal materials mainly have a cool nature， a bitter taste， and tropism to the liver meridian. Whole plants and roots are mainly used for medicinal purposes， and most of these plants grow in the wetlands near rivers， under trees， and in tree trunk and rock crevices. The main effects of these medicinal materials are clearing heat and detoxifying， dispelling wind and removing dampness， cooling blood and stopping bleeding， activating blood and resolving stasis， and soothing meridians and dredging collaterals. There are certain correlations between the structures， habitats， medicinal parts， and effects of pteridophyte-derived Chinese medicinal materials， which provide reference for the development and utilization of pteridophyte-derived Chinese medicinal material resources.

ObjectiveTo make statistics on the biological characteristics， medicinal parts， chemical components， and other aspects of thorny medicinal plants and systematically analyze the correlations between their natures， tastes， and meridian tropism， so as to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application and resource development of these plants. MethodThe Chinese Pharmacopoeia （2020 edition） and the processing standards of various provinces and cities and other related documents were reviewed， on the basis of which 46 species of thorny medicinal plants were selected. The natures， tastes， meridian tropism， medicinal parts， chemical components， pharmacological activities， and geographical distribution of these plants were summarized and analyzed in Excel 2013 and SPSS Statistics 26.0. ResultThe 46 species of thorny medicinal plants belonged to 25 families， 1 class， 1 phylum of 1 kingdom. In terms of the location of thorns， the frequency of these medicinal plants followed the trend of leaf thorns>peel thorns>branch thorns>fruit thorns. In terms of the nature， taste， and meridian tropism， the frequency of these plants was in the orders of warm>plain>cold>cool>hot， bitter>sweet>pungent>sour>salty， and liver>lung>spleen=large intestine>heart>kidney， respectively. In terms of the medicinal parts， the frequency followed the trend of roots and rhizomes>fruits>whole plants>flowers>leaves. The thorny medicinal plants were mainly distributed in north and southwest China. The thorny medicinal plants mainly contained flavonoids， alkaloids， and saponins and had the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying， resolving stasis and eliminating carbuncle， moving Qi and relieving pain， and alleviating edema and expelling pus. Moreover， 24 of them had anti-tumor activity. ConclusionMost of the thorny medicinal plants belong to Compositae， Leguminosae， and Rosaceae， have leaf thorns， a warm nature， a bitter taste， tropism to the liver meridian， and roots as the medicinal part. These plants are mainly distributed in north China， with the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying， resolving stasis and eliminating carbuncle. In summary， the thorn location， distribution， and medicinal parts of thorny medicinal plants are correlated with the natures， tastes， and meridian tropism. The findings provide clues for the development and utilization of these plants.

ObjectiveBased on non-targeted metabolomics， to analyze the regulation of endogenous differential metabolites in serum of type 2 diabetes mellitus（T2DM） rats by Fuling Yunhua granules， and to clarify the metabolic pathways through which this granules exerted its effect on improving T2DM. MethodSeventy SD rats， half male and half female， were randomly divided into the control group， model group， and high， medium， low dose groups of Fuling Yunhua granules（20.70， 10.35， 5.18 g·kg^-1 in raw drug amount） and the positive drug group（pioglitazone hydrochloride tablets， 8.1 mg·kg^-1）. Except for the control group， other groups were fed with high-sugar and high-fat diet combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin（STZ） to establish a T2DM rat model. After successful modeling， the treatment groups were administered the corresponding drugs by gavage， and the control group and model group were treated with an equal volume of saline by gavage， once/d， for 28 d. Fasting blood glucose（FBG） and glycosylated hemoglobin A1c（GHbA1c） levels were measured in all groups of rats during the administration period， and hematoxylin-eosin（HE） staining was used to observe the pathomorphological changes in the pancreatic tissues of rats at the end of the administration period. The endogenous metabolite levels in rat serum were detected by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-linear ion trap-electrostatic field orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry（UPLC-LTQ-Orbitrap MS）， and the data were processed using principal component analysis（PCA） and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis（OPLS-DA）. Differential metabolites were identified by the Human Metabolome Database（HMDB） and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes（KEGG）， and screened for differential metabolites with variable importance in the projection（VIP） value>1， P<0.05， and fold change（FC）<0.6 or FC>1. And the metabolic pathway enrichment analysis of the screened differential metabolites was performed by MetaboAnalyst 5.0， then the screened differential metabolites were diagnosed and evaluated by the receiver operating characteristic（ROC） curves. ResultCompared with the control group， the FBG level of rats in the model group increased significantly（P<0.01）， the GHbA1c content tended to increase， but the difference was not statistically significant， and the pancreatic tissue of rats was obviously damaged， the number of pancreatic islets decreased， and the pancreatic β-cells were obviously reduced， atrophied and enlarged. Compared with the model group， the FBG levels of rats in the high dose group of Fuling Yunhua granules and the positive drug group were significantly reduced after 2 weeks of administration（P<0.05， P<0.01）， the GHbA1c content of rats in the high dose group of Fuling Yunhua granules was significantly reduced（P<0.05）， and the pancreatic tissue lesions of rats in the different dose groups of Fuling Yunhua granules were reduced. The results of non-targeted metabolomics showed that 46 differential metabolites were significantly changed in the model group compared with the blank group. Pathway enrichment analysis found that T2DM mainly affected biological processes including biosynthesis of primary bile acid， D-amino acid metabolism， steroid hormone biosynthesis， and glycerophospholipid metabolism in rats. Compared with the model group， the levels of 8 differential metabolites in the high dose group of Fuling Yunhua granules were significantly adjusted， and the pathway enrichment analysis found that D-amino acid metabolism， retinol metabolism， glycine， serine and threonine metabolism， tryptophan metabolism and other metabolic pathways were mainly involved. ROC curves further analysis revealed that the four characteristic differential markers of 11-cis-retinol， D-piperidinic acid， D-serine， and p-cresol sulfate had high diagnostic value for the treatment of T2DM with Fuling Yunhua granules. ConclusionFuling Yunhua granules can improve the symptoms of T2DM rats by regulating the amino acid metabolic and retinol metabolic pathways through the modulation of endogenous differential metabolites.

Tuberculosis （TB） and human immunodeficiency virus infection / acquired immune deficiency syndrome （HIV/AIDS） are both serious global public health threats. Early detection of infected persons and/or patients through TB/HIV bi-directional screening is crucial for prevention and control strategy in China and globally. In recent years， with the promotion and application of new TB and HIV detection technologies worldwide， TB/HIV bi-directional screening technologies and strategies have made remarkable changes. This expert consensus introduces the significance and challenges of TB/HIV bi-directional screening， summarizes important progress of research and applications， and makes recommendations on screening measures and procedures to further strengthen TB/HIV bi-directional screening in China.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of long non-coding RNA(LncRNA)small nucleolar RNA host gene 11(SNHG11)and hypoxia inducible factor(HIF)-1α and angiogenesis mimicry(VM)in ovarian cancer.Methods A total of 116 ovarian cancer patients admitted to Tangshan Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from October 2019 to January 2023 were regarded as the research subjects.Based on whether VM had formed,ovarian cancer patients were grouped into VM group(n=51)and non VM group(n=65).Another 50 partients who underwent health examinations during the same period were regarded as the control group.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(qPCR)was applied to detect the expression levels of LncRNA SNHG11 and HIF-1α in serum of ovarian cancer patients and control groups.Spearman correlation was applied to detect the relationship between LncRNA SNHG11,HIF-1α,and VM formation.The diagnostic value of LncRNA SNHG11,HIF-1α,and their combined detection in the formation of VM in ovarian cancer patients was analyzed using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Results Compared with the control group,the levels of serum LncRNA SNHG11(3.01±0.88,2.21±0.68 vs 1.12±0.35)and HIF-1α(2.16±0.67,1.60±0.44 vs 1.01±0.31)in ovarian cancer patients with VM group and non VM group were increased(t=12.136,9.006;19.890,16.591,all P＞0.05),the levels of serum LncRNA SNHG11 and HIF-1αin the VM group were obviously higher than those in the non VM group(t=8.957,8.595),and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The expression of LncRNA SNHG11,HIF-1α,and the formation of VM were not related to age and tissue type(t=1.036,0.976,0.218;1.254,1.390,0.368,all P＞0.05),but were related to tumor size,FIGO staging,lymph node metastasis,and pathological grading(t=5.351,5.186,13.264;5.465,5.227,10.898;6.063,6.016,5.374;4.030,5.871,5.509,all P＜0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that there were obvious positive correlations between LncRNA SNHG11,HIF-1α,and VM generation(r=0.560,0.494,all P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that the areas under the curve(AUCs)of serum LncRNA SNHG11 and HIF-1α for diagnosing VM formation in ovarian cancer patients were 0.860 and 0.824,respectively,with sensitivity of 80.4%and 75.6%,specificity of 58.9%and 51.9%,respectively.The AUC of VM formation in ovarian cancer patients diagnosed by the combination of the two was 0.941,with sensitivity and specificity were 92.2%and 79.9%,respectively.Conclusion The abnormal expressions of LncRNA SNHG11 and HIF-1α were closely related to the formation of VM in ovarian cancer patients,and both may serve as potential biological indicators for judging VM.

Objective:To investigate the impact of Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TILs) density in the tumor stroma on the long-term prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) liver transplant patients meeting the Hangzhou criteria.Methods:This study is a retrospective cohort study. The clinical data of 83 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma who met the Hangzhou criteria and underwent allogeneic liver transplantation from January 2018 to December 2023 in the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery, Beijing Chaoyang Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University were collected and analyzed. Hematoxylin and Eosin (HE) staining was used to study the density of TILs in the resected liver grafts. Patients were divided into TILs-negative group (TILs<10%, n=31) and TILs-positive group (TILs≥10%, n=52) based on whether the TILs density exceeded 10%. Clinical and pathological characteristics were analyzed, and the significance of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), TILs density, and microvascular invasion on the prognosis of HCC patients who met the Hangzhou criteria was studied. Measurement data with normal distribution were expressed as mean±standard deviation ( ± s) and compared between groups using t-test. Measurement data with skewed distribution were expressed as M ( Q1, Q3) and compared using rank-sum tests. Categorical data were compared using chi-square test. Kaplan-Meier method was used to study the relationship between various observation indicators and overall survival, and survival curves were plotted. Log-rank test was used to compare the survival rates between groups, and multivariate Cox regression model was used to adjust for the distribution of risk factors between groups. Results:The preoperative AFP level in the TILs-negative group was (15.69±1.21) U/mL, and in the TILs-positive group was (12.17±0.13) U/mL, with a statistically significant difference between the two groups ( P<0.05). In the TILs-negative group, 8 cases had microvascular invasion, and the number of low, moderate, and high differentiation tumors was 8, 23, and 0, respectively. In the TILs-positive group, 3 cases had microvascular invasion, and the number of low, moderate, and high differentiation tumors was 2, 31, and 19, respectively. The results indicated that patients in the TILs-negative group were more likely to have microvascular invasion and poorer tumor differentiation ( P<0.05). All patients were regularly followed up, and the 1-, 2-, and 3-year survival rates in the TILs-negative group and TILs-positive group were 84.0%, 77.6%, 69.8%, and 94.7%, 91.7%, 86.6%, respectively ( P<0.01). Cox proportional hazards model indicated that microvascular invasion ( RR=4.474, 95% CI: 1.172-17.072, P=0.028) and TILs-negative status ( RR=5.081, 95% CI: 1.420-18.184, P=0.012) were independent risk factors for the long-term prognosis of HCC patients who met the Hangzhou criteria. Conclusions:Among HCC patients meeting the Hangzhou criteria, the density of TILs in the tumor stroma is related to AFP levels, tumor differentiation, and the presence of microvascular invasion. TILs-negative status indicates a poorer prognosis for these patients.

Objective:To observe the recurrence condition of hepatitis B in different risk groups after liver transplantation in an attempt to provide useful information on whether to discontinue hepatitis B immunoglobulin (HBIG) in the future at an early stage.Methods:The patient population was divided into high, low-risk, and special groups [especially primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)] according to the guidelines for the prevention and treatment of hepatitis B recurrence after liver transplantation. The recurrence condition and risk factors in this population were observed for hepatitis B. Measurement data were analyzed using a t-test and a rank-sum test. Count data were compared using a χ2 test between groups. Results:This study finally included 532 hepatitis B-related liver transplant cases. A total of 35 cases had HBV recurrence after liver transplantation, including 34 cases that were HBsAg positive, one case that was HBsAg negative, and 10 cases that were hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA positive. The overall HBV recurrence rate was 6.6%. The recurrence rate of HBV was 9.2% and 4.8% in the high- and low-risk HBV DNA positive and negative groups before surgery ( P = 0.057). Among the 293 cases diagnosed with HCC before liver transplantation, 30 had hepatitis B recurrence after surgery, with a recurrence rate of 10.2%. The independent related factors for the recurrence of hepatitis B in patients with HCC after liver transplantation were HCC recurrence ( HR =181.92, 95% CI 15.99~2 069.96, P < 0.001), a high postoperative dose of mycophenolate mofetil dispersible tablets (MMF) ( HR =5.190, 95% CI 1.289~20.889, P = 0.020), and a high dosage of HBIG ( HR = 1.012, 95% CI 1.001~1.023, P = 0.035). Among the 239 cases who were non-HCC before liver transplantation, five cases (recurrence rate of 2.1%) arouse postoperative hepatitis B recurrence. Lamivudine was used in all cases, combined with on-demand HBIG prophylaxis after surgery. There was no hepatitis B recurrence in non-HCC patients who treated with entecavir combined with HBIG after surgery. Conclusion:High-barrier-to-resistance nucleotide analogues combined with long-term HBIG have a good effect on preventing the recurrence of hepatitis B after liver transplantation. The discontinuation of HBIG may be considered at an early stage after administration of a high-barrier-to-resistance nucleotide analogue in low-risk patients. Domestically, the HBV infection rate is high, so further research is still required to explore the timing of HBIG discontinuation for high-risk patients, especially those with HCC.

ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation among the botanical characteristics， biological characteristics， chemical composition， and medicinal properties and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicines （TCM） from latex-containing plants， so as to strengthen the theory of "identifying symptoms for qualities" and provide a reference for the development and utilization of the latex-containing plant resources. MethodStatistics on the meridians for properties and tastes， efficacy， medicinal parts， family and genus， and chemical components of TCM from latex-containing plants were carried out. A total of 53 TCM from latex-containing plants included in the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia were screened by mining the Chinese Botanical Journal， Chinese Materia Medica， Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicines， and related literature. In addition， their meridians for properties and tastes， medicinal parts， chemical components， and TCM classifications were summarized and statistically analyzed by using Excel 2013 and ChiPlot 2023.3.31 software. ResultIt was found that latex-containing plants were mainly distributed in one kingdom， one phylum， two classes， and 20 families， and most of the TCM from latex-containing plants belonged to Dicotyledonaceae under Angiosperms. In terms of properties and tastes， plain>cold>warm>cool>hot and bitter>pungent>sweet>sour>salty. In terms of meridians， liver>lung>kidney>spleen=large intestine=stomach>heart>bladder=gallbladder=small intestines. In terms of medicinal parts， roots （root， rhizomes， tuberous root， and root bark）>resin>seed>whole herb （whole herb and above-ground part）>stem （stem and branch）>fruit>leaf>flower=skin. In terms of research on chemical components， they were mostly glycosides. In terms of TCM classification， they were mostly medicines for activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis. ConclusionThe TCM from latex-containing plants is mainly plain， with a uniform warm and cold distribution. The tastes are mainly bitter and pungent， and the major meridians are the liver and lung. The roots and resins are mainly used as medicines. The components mostly contain glycosides， alkaloids， and volatile oils， and most of them are medicines for activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis， as well as for removing heat and toxins. There is a certain degree of correlation among the growth habits， medicinal parts， chemical components， and the properties， tastes， and efficacy of the TCM from latex-containing plants. It may provide a reference for resource development and utilization of TCM from latex-containing plants.

ObjectiveThe relevant laws among the biological characteristics， medicinal parts， growth environment， and medicinal properties and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicines （TCM） from fungi were excavated， so as to strengthen the theory of distinguishing symptoms for quality and provide a reference for the development and utilization of TCM from fungi. MethodThe medicinal parts， meridians for properties and tastes， heterotrophic mode， and efficacy of commonly used TCM from fungi were summarized. By consulting the Compendium of Materia Medica， Shennong Materia Medica， Flora of China， and literature， the TCM from fungi indexed in the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and some local pharmacopeias were checked. ResultA total of 28 common TCM from fungi were selected. Different TCMs from fungi have different meridians for properties and tastes， medicinal parts， habits， and growth environments. The relevant information was counted. Among the four properties， plain>cold>warm. Among the five tastes， sweet>bitter>light>pungent=salty. In terms of medicinal parts， fruiting body>sclerotia>complex>spermia=outer skin=other. In terms of meridians， lung>liver=heart>spleen=kidney>stomach. In terms of habits， parasitism>saprophysis>symbiosis=facultative parasitism=facultative saprophysis. ConclusionTCM from fungi are mainly parasitic and saprophytic， and the plain property and sweet taste the most. The meridians are mostly lung， heart， and liver. Nourishment and diuresis are the main efficacy. There is a certain correlation between the color， habit， medicinal parts， and growth environment of TCM from fungi and their properties， tastes， and efficacy， providing comprehensive literature reference and theoretical basis for their in-depth research， clinical use， and resource development.
