Results After treatement, 2 hPG, FBG and HbAlc were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). HAMD score in the study group after treatment decreased significantly than that before treatment(P<0.05). The difference of HAMD score in the control group had no statistically significant. Conclusion Psychological intervention combined with insulin and glimepiride on the treatment of elderly patients with diabetes can improve the depression, has a positive significance to improve the effect of blood glucose.
3.Analysis of the current situation of clinical nursing ward rounds
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(02):-
The paper first sums up the types of clinical nursing ward rounds and points out that at present two types play a dominant role in China, viz. the problem-based nursing ward round and the nursing procedure-oriented nursing ward round. Then it expounds the goal of clinical nursing ward rounds, introduces the forms, participants, and schedules of nursing ward rounds, and analyzes the major problems that currently exist in this aspect. The paper argues that it is imperative for the hospital to reinforce the management of nursing ward rounds and ensure that they are well planned and prepared and highly standardized and focused so as to improve their quality.

Journal of Clinical Surgery 2014;(5):347-350
Objective To investigate the role and prognostic impact of E-cadherin( E-cad)on in-vasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma by analyzing E-cadherin expression at DNA,RNA and protein levels. Methods RNA and protein expression of E-cad were tested in 60 cases of gastric carcinoma and adjacent tissues by streptavidin peroxidase( SP )immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. DNA methylation of E-cad was tested with methylation-specific polymerase chain reaction( MSP). Results The positive rates of E-cadherin protein and mRNA in gastric carcinoma were significantly lower than those in adjacent tissues. DNA methylation of E-cad negatively correlated with the E-cad protein and RNA expres-sion in gastric carcinoma respectively(r= -0. 355,r = -0. 271). DNA methylation of E-cad negatively correlated with the 5-year survival rate of gastric carcinoma(r = -0. 381,P ﹤0. 01). However,E-cad protein positively correlated with the 5-year survival rate of gastric carcinoma(r=0. 378,P﹤0. 01). Con-clusion The decreased expression of E-cad is one of the most important biological features in gastric car-cinoma. Methylation of E-cad DNA may be an important agent causing low expression of E-cad protein and mRNA and it can be used as an important indicator in predicting invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects and safety of atorvastatin combined with probucol on the vascular elasticity in patienits with hypertension. METHODS:246 hypertensive patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group,123 cases in each group. All patients received conventional antigypertensive treatment, based on it,control group was given 10 mg Atorvastatin tablet,qd;observation group was additionally given 0.25 g Probucol tablet,qd,on the basis of control group. They were treated for 1 year. Clinical efficacy, lipid levels(total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol),cystatin C (Cys-C),C-reactive protein (CRP),elastic parameters of common carotid artery and lower limb artery(stiffness,pressure-strain elastic modulus, compliance, augmentation index, pulse wave velocity)before and af-ter treatment in 2 groups were observed, and the incidence of adverse reactions was compared. RESULTS:Before treatment, there were no significant differences in lipid levels,Cys-C,CRP and elastic parameters of common carotid artery and lower between 2 groups (P>0.05);after treatment, the above-mentioned indexes were significantly improved, and the improvement degree in ob-servation group was superior to control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). And there were no severe ad-verse reactions during treatment in both 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Atorvastatin combined with probucol can improve lipid level and elasticity of common carotid artery and lower limb artery, with good safety.

OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy on constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-C) treated with acupuncture for regulating the mind and strengthening the spleen and the impacts on the quality of life in the patients.
METHODSSixty patients of IBS-C were randomized into two groups. In the acupuncture group (30 cases), acupuncture was applied to Tianshu (ST 25), Zusanli (ST 36), Shangjuxu (ST 37), Taichong (LR 3), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Yintang (GV 29) and Baihui (GV 20), once a day, 5 treatments a week and 4 weeks treatment as one session. In the western medication group (30 cases), lactulose oral solution was prescribed, 15 mL each time, three times a day, 4 weeks treatment as one session. The symptom grade scale and the quality of life scale (IBS-QOL) were adopted to observe the changes in clinical symptoms and quality of life before treatment, after treatment and 2-month follow-up after treatment in the patients of the two groups separately.
RESULTS(1) Clinical symptom score: the difference in the symptom score at each time point was significant statistically in intra-group comparison (P < 0.01). In 1 week, 4 weeks of treatment and 2 months after treatment, the clinical symptom scores in the acupuncture group were lower than those in the western medication group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). (2) IBS-QOL score after treatment was improved as compared with that before treatment in the two groups (P < 0.01). The improvement of IBS-QOL at 2 months after treatment in the acupuncture group was apparently superior to the western medication group (P < 0.05). (3) The total effective rate was 90.0% (27/30) in the acupuncture group and was 83.3% (25/30) in the western medication group. The overall efficacy in the acupuncture group was better than that in the western medication group (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture for regulating the mind and strengthening the spleen significantly relieves the clinical symptoms of IBS-C and improves QOL of patients. The total efficacy is superior to lactulose oral solution and presents a certain of long-term efficacy.

Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(03):-
Enthusiasm is an intrinsic motive that drives the ethical and moral aspects of nursing practice.Love is the source of enthusiasm. An enthusiastic nurse loves life, work and patients.Loving patients is essential to inflame passion for patient care.A desire for and pursuits of benevolence is the key to enthusiasm.Only the element of benevolence integrated into enthusiasm can nurses arouse a sense of compassion, responsibility and honour, which is then advanced to the realm of humanitarian-Heal the Wounded,Rescue the Dying. The essence of enthusiasm is sincerity, that is,providing patients wholehearted care rather than hypocritical act.Caring for patients is based on goodwill and altruism.Enthusiasm is also the driving force for nurses' creativity. It inspires a positive life, pushes to pursue self-actualization and propels continuous creation.
