Objective Alloreactive lymphocytes specific for graft antigens are implicated in rejection of allograft. This study aims to induce alloreactive lymphocytes depletion or inactivation and allograft immuno tolerance by alloreactive lymphocyte vaccine(ALV).Methods Recipient lymphocytes were expanded for 9-14 days stimulated by donor lymphocytes that had been dealt with mitomycin C.The expanded recipient lymphocytes are termed alloreactive lymphocyte vaccine(ALV).About 0.5?10 7~1.0?10 7cells mixed with freunds complete ajuvant(FCA)were used as ALV to vaccinate itself for 3~4 times as usual. The stimulate index(SI) was measured after vaccination and compared with itself unvaccination. Results The ALV could suppress mixed lymphocyte reaction. The stimulate Index was significantly lower than themselves uninjected with ALV(P

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2001;0(05):-
Objective To present the surgical results of severe scoliosis treated with one stage anterior release and posterior instrumentation. Methods 36 patients of severe scoliosis received one stage anterior release and posterior correction during July 1997 to January 2003. There were 9 males and 27 females with an average age of 17.2 years, including 33 idiopathic scoliosis and 3 neurofibromatosis scoliosis. The Cobb's angles of scoliosis were from 85? to 116? with a mean of 96.2?. 18 cases were found with single thoracic curve, 7 cases double thoracic and lumbar curves, 6 cases thoracolumbar curve, 4 cases lumbar curve, and 1 case double thoracic and lumbar curves with associated lumbar curve. 20 cases had abnormal sagittal profile. Three-dimensional instrumentations such as CD (4 cases), CD-Horizon (5 cases), TSRH (10 cases) or Isola (17 cases) were used in posterior procedure after anterior release under the same anesthesia. 31 cases of this group received thoracoplasty. Results The coronal correction was achieved 48.5% on average. The sagittal profile of the spine was distinctly ameliorated. The sagittal balance was restored or maintained in 80.6% of the patients. There were no severe neurological complications, hook displacement, rod breaking and deep infection at follow-up. One case of traumatic pleurisy occurred after surgery and one pseudarthrosis at 2 years later. One patient demonstrated imbalance 11 months after surgery. Two patients presented loss of correction more than 10? at one year follow-up (5.2? on average). Conclusion The result of one stage posterior correction associated with anterior release in treatment of severe scoliosis is satisfactory. Appropriate selection of cases, detailed assessment, SEP monitoring and wake-up test during surgery are helpful to reduce severe complications. The long term results need to be followed-up.

Objective To study the effect of PEI on disseminating HCC cells in the peripheral blood in patients with recurrent HCC. MethodsWe examined blood samples from 29 recurrent HCC patients by nested RT-PCR for the determination of AFP?mRNA before and 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks after PEI.ResultsBefore PEI 14 (48%) patients out of the 29 cases with recurrent HCC were positive with AFP?mRNA. Four weeks after a course of PEI only 2 cases (7%) remained AFP?mRNA positive.ConclutionsPEI effectively eradicating disseminating HCC cells in the peripheral blood shows a favourable potential for the treatment of recurrent HCC.

Journal of Clinical Surgery 2016;24(10):774-776
Objective To investigate the clinical effectiveness of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH)in the treatment of outlet obstructive constipation caused by moderate and severe recto-cele. Methods A total of 48 patients with moderate or severe rectocele were treated with PPH. Patients were followed up for 4 ~ 6 months. The preoperative and postoperative parameters from rectoanal manome-try were compared and analyzed. Results After the surgery, patients had loose stool for 1 ~ 2 times a day. Sense of defecation obstruction in all patients was obviously improved. After the surgery, there were no significant changes in rectum resting pressure, anal resting pressure and various rectal sensitivity( P >0. 05). However, the decrease of inside rectal pressure and residual anal pressure were significantly re-duced(P < 0. 05). Conclusion The subjective defecation feeling of postoperative patients with PPH is unblock. Objective results of rectoanal manometry is clearly improved and the function of the rectum and anal canal is obviously restored.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between cranial CT characteristics and prognosis after first-ever primary supratentorial intracerebral hemorrhage (PSICH). Methods The data of clinic and CT in patients with first-ever PSICH were registered prospectively and followed up for 6 months. The relationship between the prognosis and the clinic data was analyzed using univariate and multivariate Logistical regression analysis. Results (1) The volume of hematoma was an independent CT predictor of death at 1st, 3rd and 6th month. (2) Both the volume of hematoma and secondary ventricular hemorrhage were independent CT predictors of death/disability at 6th month. Conclusions (1)The volume of hematoma can be used to predict death in patients with PSICH.(2)The volume of hematoma and secondary ventricular hemorrhage can be used to predict the death/disability rate of PSICH.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(06):-
OBJECTIVE To analyze the characters of hospital infection among deceased inpatients.METHODS The inpatients who died in hospital from Jan 2004 to Dec 2005 were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS The infection rate of deceased inpatients was 40.11%,and the location majored in respiratory tract, urinary system and digestive tract. The infection rate was apparently higher among the cases more than 60 years old,and those with hematological disease, circulatory disease and nervous system disease. The hospital infection rate was related with long hospitalization and had seasonal fluctuation.CONCLUSIONS The high hospital infection rate among deceased pabients may be related with the seriously underlying diseases, aging, drug abuse and invasive therapy.

Objective To investigate the effects of Astragalus polysaccharide (APS) on damage of keratinocytes in ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation skin in HaCaT cells; To preliminarily explore its mechanism of action. Methods HaCaT cells were treated by UVB irradiated for modeling. Blank control group, model group, UVB irradiation group and low-, medium- and high-dose APS interventional groups were set up. Each medication group was given relevant medicine. MTT assay was used to determine the cell activity; GSH-Px, CAT, SOD activity and MDA content were detected by biochemical colorimetric method; contents of TNF-α and IL-6 were detected by ELISA.Results Compared with the control group, the contents of SOD, CAT and GSH-Px in the model group decreased significantly, while the contents of MDA, TNF-α and IL-6 increased significantly (P<0.05); compared with the mode group, the contents of SOD, CAT and GSH-Px in the medication groups increased significantly, while the contents of MDA, TNF-α and IL-6 were reduced significantly (P<0.01).Conclusion APS can reduce the oxidative stress injury of UVB to HaCaT cells to some extent.
